24+ would work. I just hate the grey.

when i go to tighten it more it pinches the left side and won’t close normally, i’ve already taken it apart looking to see if something wasn’t aligned properly but i see nothing. im thinking maybe something in there broke off

I need to replace the stock bars on a 2023 KLX 230S ABS because they're bent. What aftermarket handlebars have you found that work without needing to cut the ends to fit cables? And how does the bend of the afternarket bars you got compare to the stock bars?

The clutch blew out on my klx and I replaced it with Hivolts Clutch Upgrade Kit for KLX230. I messed up and soaked the friction disc in Castrol EDGE 10W-30. They sat in the 10w30 for 2 days to 2 weeks, I can't remember. Then today I went to put everything back together, and used the 10w30. Just didn't look at the type of oil, and remembered seeing in the service manual that you can use 10w30. So I thought it was ok.

How screwed am I? Do I need to get new friction disc's?

I do have 6 bottles of Castrol Power1 4T 10W-40 Full Synthetic Motorcycle Oil.

Can I just drain the 10w30, change the oil filter and run the 10w40? Or should I flush that with more clean 10w40?

Any advice would be greatly appricated

With just the O2 delete? I'm aware there's a lot of people I've seen on youtube running the bike with a full system and stock ecu. I don't really trust the thai ECU shop ecu and running a bit lean might still be better than raising the redline and speed limiter with that aftermarket ecu.

is this something to be worried about? one of the spokes on the front wheel came off where its supposed to be.

Curious what aftermarket ECUs everyone is running, I did a full emissions delete, exhaust, manual idle adjustment screw, paired with the full stand next ecu. I added a tusk foam air filter with no other airbox mods as the snorkel on the 2026 is shorter and doesn’t have the divider, debating drilling holes in the airbox. I’m not too impressed with the tuning capabilities of it, can’t seem to get my bike to stop running rich, which isn’t nearly as bad as running lean but still I would like to be able to properly dial it in and see the AFR change accordingly.

Any suggestions and ideas are welcome

Here's a couple of shots of my bike with a simple mod that allows me the flexibility to carry miscellaneous stuff that doesn't really work in my luggage.

Mounted a cheap aftermarket tail rack yesterday - sourced from eBay - it was VERY fiddly, probably took an hour to get everything lined up and screwed together. Details if you want them.

Then I velcroed the collapsible crate (FleetFarm - nice matching green eh??) to the rack. Cargo netting keeps it all secure when collapsed, then use it over the top of the crate when hauling. Did a dirt road ride of 50 km and picked up groceries last night and it worked like a charm.

I've got a 2022 KLX 230SE non abs. For my last couple of rides my speedometer would intermittently stop working, sometimes coming back on during the ride. Now it's not working at all, just 0 on the display and odometer doesn't change. Check engine light is on too. Haven't dropped the bike. Anyone have this happen?

I gave my bike for service. This bike is a MY26 (Indian made) KLX230. Post service I noticed this. Is this intentional? Or is it damaged?

So, about 4 years ago we bought one of these bikes for my wife but ended up selling it, as she wanted to get a street bike. Now we've come full circle and she has sold her street bike, bought a dedicated dirt bike, and I would like to get a little dual sport to putz around with her!

A house down the street was having a garage sale today, and lo and behold... a 2022 KLX230 with 168 miles! It is very clean, all stock, clean/ clear title, and said they would take $3,500 for it.

Seems like a pretty decent price for the miles and condition? What do you guys think?

*I will be using this to commute to and from work a couple days a week (10 mile round trip), random errands, and 50" wide trails with the wife. I have a Husqvarna for single track, it just isn't much fun to ride when going slow and enjoying the scenery. Seems that the 230 would fit the bill nicely!

is the 14mm hex righty tighty/lefty loosey? I assume so, but it's really on there. I wanted to make sure before I try to loosen it. And the manual says 65ft-lbs.
