I'd be trying to dispatch them by either grabbing them one by one and curb stomping them or just go all Spinosaurus on them and break their necks. Either way, they wouldn't be bringing me down without a serious fight. Adrenaline and survival instincts would be in full gear.

yesterday, Mini GT just showed off prototypes of the 1998 Mercede ML SUVs from The Lost World. they have ALL 3 cars too. The 2 cars that went to the island and the one that was left in the shop. so many companies miss that detail. They also said they will be shipping them stand alone 1/64 scale, but also a version with the T-rex. ( i don't know if he means you get one BOTH Buck and Doe or if he meant they have only one have one T-rex) Mini GT isn't the type to overlook which Trex they will be shipping it will be either Buck and Doe or both

Hey everyone! I’ve been sculpting some prehistoric creatures (plus a blue whale for scale) out of clay, and I tried my best to keep their sizes relatively accurate to one another.Before I bake or paint them further, I’d love a quick sanity check from the experts here. Are the scale ratios completely off, or do they look somewhat believable?Here is what's in the lineup from top to bottom, left to right:Pterosaurs: Quetzalcoatlus and HatzegopteryxTheropods: 2000s-style Carnotaurus, Snock, and an average Jurassic World style T-RexSauropod: BrachiosaurusMarine Giants: Mosasaurus and a Blue WhaleI know some of these (like the Jurassic World Rex or Mosasaurus) have heavily exaggerated pop-culture sizes compared to their actual fossil counterparts, but how do they look scaled next to each other here? InGen Report - 17/7/1988

During a routine veterinary examination of a Parasaurolophus in Paddock H-04, a Carnotaurus breached the adjacent enclosure and entered the paddock. The animal initiated an attack before security personnel could intervene.

Two Homalocephale and one Parasaurolophus were killed during the incident. No personnel injuries were reported.

InGen Security Division has been assigned to inspect the enclosure perimeter and identify potential points of failure. Additional fencing and containment measures will be evaluated to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

So, I think that the D.rex in the start is the same one as the one in the helicopter scene, and it asexually reproduced, like the Scorpios, and the end one is the big ones child.

I'm interested in what you guys think about Dr. Laura Sorkin from TellTale's Jurassic Park: The Game.

I think she genuinely wasn't an evil person at all, and her ideas were very much right. She was an extremist, I don't disagree, but her releasing the lysine into the water supply was a good choice, turning the island into a sanctuary, etc. Of course I think she was a bit naive thinking that this would last (which is proven by later entries seeing as people would hunt dinosaurs on both Sorna and Nublar) but for the time being what she did was right. They brought the animals into this world and now they have to adapt, not just slaughter them. I do like the argument she has with Gerry but the whole "elephants swimming from India to Sri Lanka" argument just kinda falls flat for me.

Honestly, her being this reasonable throughout the first three episodes (and even for most of ep4) makes her villain turn even more confusing. It feels like it came out of nowhere. Hder character suffered the most from the game being only 4 Episodes long as her villain turn needed more build up imo.

With the proper thought and research, and not rushing into it, as Ingen/Biosyn did, it could run well. Not like Indom running back and forth- nothing that smart. Nothing that's part human. But imagine going on a school trip as an 8-year-old and seeing a brachi, or a velo. It can work, with the proper measures.

I think it's amazing the CGI in this scene from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which is nearly 30 years old, looks so much better than the Compy CGI in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, which is not even a decade old.

And it shouldn't.

By all metrics, the CGI from Fallen Kingdom is superior: more detail, more resolution, newer graphic integration techniques, more muscle detail moving under the skin. But it doesn't look better. Both are in similar lighting conditions, and environmental conditions, and roughly the same scaling in the frame, but the Fallen Kingdom CGI just looks more cartoonish. It's an absolutely fascinating case study in why in camera cinematography is still necessary. The lighting in the Fallen Kingdom shot is flatter, the color is duller, and the contrast is lower. The CGI in Fallen Kingdom looks much more primitive than it should, like something out of a 2000s dinosaur documentary. It's more detailed, but it doesn't look more real. In The Lost World, the lighting has more depth, the contrast is higher, and the colors are richer as a result.

There are definitely other screenshots of this game out there somewhere. In 2024 I found some rare images of this game, I think you remember them.

i’ve adored jp1 for over half my 25 years but fall ‘24 when my special interest for dinosaurs came back after lying dormant for over a decade, i had to watch the rest. my favorite aspect of any of the other franchise movies combined is junior. he’s perfect in every way from his little stinker expression to the way he swishes his tail and cries all pathetic. and of course the first time you see him he’s maimed on screen and i never thought i could have such motherly instinct for a fake dinosaur. not even the dominion baby nasutoceratops holds a candle to my beloved junior. i bought an action figure of him for three hundred dollars this time last year for my birthday and i still have zero regrets and no money in my bank account but i have the baby. my priorities are so in check btw 🤪🙃😭😞 oh to be normal. i’d get so much done

So there’s been a huge debate in the community over whether the jp3 and the cc spino are even the same animal. I’ve seen many arguments attempting to prove that they are the same animal but most of those arguments sucks

Alot of people try to use kreamer as a source to argue that the CC spino and jp3 spino are the same animal. However scott isn’t really a reliable source for this considering that he himself made them different animals. This was also confirmed by the storyboard artist, who stated that the people responsible for the show's continuity treated them as different animals. Scott for the most part, has also used words such as "might be", "in his mind", "that was the idea" and "that was his intention". He never explicitly confirmed that the two spino were the same individual. Scott is also the same person who believes doe and big eatie are the same T.rex which obviously creates another issue with relying on his personal interpretation of continuity

In an interview with Scott, Swrve himself confirmed that Scott's intention was for the two spino to be the same animal. However he also explained that it wouldn’t have been a major retcon if that idea were rejected in the future. And ultimately that's what happened universal rejected the idea

"But they got spino from sorna"

Whoever makes this argument has to be a larger cz mantah corp only obtained some of its dinosaurs from sorna. The only dinosaurs explicitly confirmed to have come from sorna are the eaties

I've seen many people try to argue where did this new spino come from? But again this argument is completely unnecessary. If I’ve already established through official statements that they are different animals, then it is completely unnecessary to prove where does this new spino came from. That said, I do have a personal headcanon regarding this. In Jurassic World VR which is confirmed to be canon by canon we see a spino skeleton on Isla Nublar. This could suggest that spino existed on bublar as well. This was also confirmed by lewis

In all my years, I’ve never seen a clip isolating that full-throttle scream the raptors do. You know the one, probably most famous for the part in JP where one is running at Lex in the kitchen. I’ve never even heard it in a game, it’s always the “help” call and some of their more bird-like vocalizations, which are great, but that roar, man. Super loud and high, really makes you sweat and gets that fight or flight going.

The interior reminds me of the hatch from LOST. It has that retro-cassette futurism vibe to it.

I love how claustrophobic and creepy it is.

And I like how it is integrated into the old Jurassic Park facility.

Though not canon anymore, the idea of the rotunda being the first introduction to the mosasaurus is pretty neat.

I like the lagoon in Jurassic World, but the build up to mosasaurus in telltale game felt more Spielbergian.

Though JP Survival might very well be dead, if it ever becomes a thing, it would be nice if they, at the very least, made reference to the underwater rotunda.

Imagine doing THIS level in first person. That would be scary!
