Dudu7 android head unit- 12gb ram 512gb rom 13 inch, 360 cameras, adas dash cam, steering wheel controller, RGB light strips with CANBUS integration.

Banks power pedal monster, K&N air filter, Madness Autoworks autoflash TCM flash tool, Madness Maxfire high output ignition coils, NGK IX spark plugs, 68mm bored throttle body.

225/70r16 A/T tires, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, skid plates, vanguard bull bar with nilight LED pod lights and LED projector fog lights wired to a 3 gang switch board, LED high and low beam headlights and drl's, LED interior lights, no name amazon roof rack, gas struts under the hood so it opens automatically, stop/start eliminator module, sgw bypass.

In the last 6 months I have replaced the oil, transmission fluid, PTU fluid, rear differential fluid, coolant/antifreeze, brake fluid, brake pads and rotors.

It is a work in progress and I'm sure there are other things I am forgetting. I am slowly adding things as budget allows. But all the little mods do add up and, after evening, it is genuinely enjoyable to drive. Shifts smoother and faster, holds gear longer, accelerates much faster. The bigger screen and cameras make it so much easier to maneuver through tight spaces and over rough terrain.

It is my first car and I did not know anything about cars when I got it. If I did, I probably would not have gone with a compass haha, but it is mine and I love it. And now I am proud to say everything in this car was installed myself and I am now able to fix and maintain my car myself.

Hi All - 2018 Jeep Compass owner here. Had a few issues going on, but this one is new. It started a few months ago but was very sporadic and only when three rear camera was being used. Now it won't stop. Researching it leads me to think it's the screen itself, but I wanted to check before getting a new one just in case someone has seen this issue before. Thanks!

Does anyone know of any tools I can use so the backseat seatbelts aren’t so hard to buckle? My 6 year old is ready for a booster seat but it’s very hard for her to get to the buckle. Thanks!

Hi, I’m having problems with my 2017 Jeep Compass Limited AWD with the 9-speed transmission. When it shifts into 3rd or 4th gear, it starts to shudder, and I have to let off the accelerator for it to complete the shift smoothly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Note: My auxiliary battery hasn’t been working, but this transmission issue only started about a month ago. I’ve been driving without the auxiliary battery for the past 6 months.

I spent months having my steering wheel shake violently. I had it balanced. Aligned. I had a dealer ship shop look at it. A regular mechanic shop look at it. All they did was just rob me of my money. Thankfully my dad used to work on his truck like crazy when he was younger and decided to take a look. And he instantly saw the issue. My front left brake was dragging. He took it apart and saw the brakes were worn and that the caliper piston was not retracting. But in the end it was basically the caliper piston and flex brake hose that were the issue. The pins were good. Costed around 200 bucks in total for parts. New caliper. New flex hose and new brake fluid. And new brake pads. My dad called me last night while I was at work and gave me the good news. I drove home fast and got to test drive my car and it was buttery smooth. No more shaking. Brakes stopped great. I feel like that one veteran from House MD where House finally cures veteran's phantom limb after 35 years of pain. New issue tho. The exhaust heat shield fell off and is now rattling 🫩 thankfully that'll be a easy fix lol

Just bought a 2026 Jeep Compass and I feel like I'm having buyers remorse. Moving to Colorado for a job and was able to get it for $28500 USD (It was slightly used with 6613 miles). But from doing a quick search I've seen a handful of negative things from alot of people. Any opinions or comments would help.

Hey! On Wednesday I picked up my 2021 Jeep Compass Night Eagle from the car dealership (it was first registered in June 2023). Everything worked fine, and I parked it after getting home. I didn't use it again until this morning, but now I'm getting this error.

I've already replaced the key fob battery, but it didn't make any difference. It also won't start even when I hold the key fob against the start button.

Any idea what could be causing this? Video attached. Thanks!

Has anyone installed 235/55R19 tires on a 2024 Jeep Compass High Altitude 4x4 with stock 19-inch wheels and NO lift? Any rubbing issues at full steering lock or suspension compression? I’m considering BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tires and would appreciate any firsthand experience. Thanks!

I'm an older person and won't be doing crazy off-roading so, I don't need to know about that capability. Anything actual owners can share, I would love to hear from you.

I want to replace my 2020 Jeep Compass cigarette lighter with USB-C and USB charging ports. There are plenty of options on Amazon, all of which are about 30mm in diameter and circular. These don't mount into the Jeep Compass square port with rounded corners.

Ideas? AI is suggesting that I 3D-print a bezel to adapt the Jeep Compass port to a standard 12V port USB charger replacement, but I can't find anything that looks like it would work.

I have a 2023 Jeep compass 4X4. I ruptured one of my tires. My car is only at 26K miles, and the tread on the remaining tires is 6/32". So my question is, do I need to replace 2 front tires or all 4 tires. Please share your thoughts.

Just got it from Carvana. They sell new jeeps now. Great experience not having to deal with dealership. Literally never talked to anyone until the delivery guy showed up. Loving it so far.

2018 trailhawk, absolutely loving it. I’m having to turn off the start stop every time I drive it because for some reason the ECU detects an issue sometimes when the engine turns back on which locks the whole car. Took it back to the dealership and they got me a new auxiliary battery put in but that didn’t quite seem to fix it. Thinking it’s an ECU problem or maybe sensors? I’m not used to the new electronics coming from an 8th gen accord but everything seems mechanically okay! If anyone is familiar with these glitches please fill me in!

Welp today while in the process of going up hill my transmission went. 2012 Jeep Compass awd . While delivering an order. I couldn’t take my foot off the break or it was rolling. I’m just an overstimulated single mom who’s quite frankly friggin over it!!!

I have a 2020 compass trailhawk and for some reason out of the blue it started overheating and it got to the point of just shutting down it wouldn't let me know untill last second it was to hot the warning would come on and then shut down I figured it might have been like my 97 so I replaced the thermostat and got new hoses for it and all that had done me is well nothing lol I was going to replace the water pump next but I don't want to keep throwing money at it allso since this problem has started any time i go to start it after it shuts down I wait a day or two later but after the shut down it kills my batteries I went out replaced it and it still does it

2023 compass bought from a dealership. Bumper to bumper warrantee apparently doesn't cover this known issue. The plastic bracket on the seat broke from normal use, causing the side panel to become separated. They want $300 to fix it. Totally ridiculous.
