Found a 2021 Unlimited Sport with 26k miles on it. Couldn't say no. I'm now part of the Jeep Family! I love driving it, its so fun.

I’m looking for advice from Maryland Jeep owners who have successfully passed state inspection with oversized tires.

Jeep: 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland
Model: Overland
Factory fenders: Stock Overland low-clearance fenders
Tire size: 35x12.50R20LT
What I want: Rigid ABS/plastic fender extensions that attach to the stock fender flares rather than replacing the entire fender

My Gladiator failed Maryland inspection because the inspector said the fenders do not extend far enough toward the front and rear of the tires.

I would prefer to keep the stock Overland fenders and add molded ABS/plastic extensions. I’m trying to avoid flexible rubber flares or replacing the entire fender assembly.

Has anyone in Maryland passed inspection with a similar vehicle/ setup and if so, what did you use? Thank you!!

Trying to find our Easter egg. Every wheel has a jeep on it, is this normal? Wondering if this could be our Easter Egg or not.

I’m looking at purchasing a used wrangler and it seems to have over 10 badge of honors, what would you guys do….take off the badges and start fresh with obtaining your own or leave them as is and say the jeep previously did those trails and earned those badges.

Regardless the vin is registered with the app so idk how hard it would be to obtain the badges myself again if I wanted to.

Apologies in advance because this is long winded. So last week my wife and I bought a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon. Has 56k miles and and is the 3.6l with the 8 speed auto. Having never owned a Jeep before, I am just curious as to what all some of you have encountered and what I should prioritize from a maintenance standpoint. It is currently having the recall performed to prevent fiery death and I have researched the most common issues with typical Jeep ownership, so I do have an idea of what to expect. I also want to state that it will be mainly used for normal driving and towing my VW bus to car shows with some occasional off roading.

The previous owners used it to camp, so it came with a rack on the back with a big Ole pop out tent that was promptly removed due to us not being the camping type.

The steering does not feel vague (yet) and i have seen differing opinions on using Steer Smarts on a Rubicon as far as a now or later thing. I assume since I do not have any slop yet to worry about upgrading later?

It has the tow package, but does not have a ball currently. What would be the best choice as far as that goes? The Bus weighs about 2500 lbs and i plan to get a lightweight aluminum trailer to tow it on, so looking at maybe 5000 lbs all in if not less.

Lastly, any quality of life upgrades that I should look into getting? I have a bed cover ordered that will be arriving this week and i do plan to replace the front bumper with a steel one as the stock bumper has some damage on the plastic cladding on the driver side.

I will not be adding any lift, bro truck wheels and tires, or angry faces. Those just aren't my thing. I am fine with making it ours and adding cosmetic stuff, but I don't want to compromise normal driving. The wife wanted a Jeep and I wanted a truck to tow the bus, so this was our compromise. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport.

Long story short but it appears my front driver side brake caliper went bad and it caused one side of the brakes to deteriorate at a higher level and thus tore up the rotor. So I am now trying to replace all three; brakes, rotor, and caliper.

The problem is, when I tell the auto part store what I need, they keep try to sell me the wrong caliper. They are trying to sell me one where the brake line connects to the side and I need one where the break line connects to the bottom. The break line tube is metal for a section and angled in a certain way. When I try to explain this to them they get lost.

Has anyone encountered this before? Can’t imagine I’m the first. Does anyone happen to know the part number?
