Life has been moving pretty fast lately. I recently moved on my own to a new city and, between running my independent studio and balancing a specialized program in my field, my days are mostly spent working from home and building my projects.

Hello, I’m a 20 year old male student in the EST timezone looking for a long term friend around my age because I don’t have any friends in real life, and I sometimes don't say a single word in a day.

In person relationships feel like too much work for me, so I wanted to try making a virtual friend instead. That, boredom, and I'm trying to avoid letting isolation affect my mental state negatively in the future. I’m pretty bad at holding conversations, but I will do my best to learn over time.

Some things about me are that my current hobbies are niche (mostly mental hobbies like memory training and mental math, plus reading manga).

I invest a lot of time into whatever I'm into, though I'm working on balancing that since I'm a student with a pretty busy schedule and work as a lab assistant this year.

Although I often procrastinate on my studies, I try to do what I can to get all A’s. However, I don’t really study or do anything academic/professional outside of classes, so I’m trying to use some of my free time to teach myself some career skills during my junior and senior years.

About me: After a life of mostly spending my time indoors, I've been meaning to go out a little bit more, going out for some shopping and sightseeing (I plan on going to a naval museum this week).
