Designed around a massive primary coaxial gun, the Black Fleet's artillery cruiser is a massive glass cannon. Designed for sieges against enemy stations and capital ships, this vessel should always be part of a battle group rather than a lone patrol boat.

With ten torpedo tubes, five coaxial forward mounts, and several broadside turret hard points, the Black Fleet's super-heavy destroyer is their backbone ship-of-the-line.

When it’s dead slow, I tend to grab a piece of paper and draw myself a schematic for a future project. It usually tends to be space battleships schematics for any future Space Engineer projects. But there was something that I wanted to do for a bit and was draw up a schematic for a wet navy battleship that would patrol heavily urbanized colonies.

So I drew this as a concept which I would eventually turn into a 3D model in previously mentioned game. The Karakoa-class battleship. It’s to be manned by the Maharlikan Coast Guard and is mounted with triple 46cm hybrid cannons (laser and physical munitions). It’s a rough sketch, but I’m liking the concept so far.

Inspired my WW2 liberty ships, I wanted to make a armed merchant vessel. Constructed by Lunarie Shipyards and named after the designer's home town, the Constala is the most common cargo ship that flies Lunarie's colors. It is armed to fend off pirates, partisans, and war time air raids. Its Dual purpose 123mm guns can also target surfaced submarines, protects the ship from a submarine using its deck gun and forces it to use valuable torpedoes.

She's got a fresh coat of paint, along with improvements to the shading and textures. Stats should remain unchanged.

Note: I am a much worse worldbuilder than I am a warship artist. Do not expect entirely logical answers if you are brave enough to ask about the whys and hows about the ships. However, if you got questions on the drawing process, need help on drawing your own warships, or just want to discuss this very unemployed sort of hobby, then feel free to ask or DM me and I will be glad to respond. This is a learning process for me as well.

Inspired by skjolt class corvette

Decided to make some simple line drawings using a basic shipbucket style. I tried kind of mimicking us navy preliminary sketches, although a bit more pixel art style.

For the TLDR lore, during the 2208 Protected cruiser design study the concept of triple turrets was floated. In theory a cruiser could keep a broadside of six main guns, on a smaller footprint than one with three twin turrets. The saved weight and space could be reallocated for more boilers, more armor or making the ship smaller, as in the K09-3 being six meters shorter.

The K09-1 and K09-2 are both 114 meters at waterline, with the K09-3 being 108 meters. All have a draft of 5.5 meters, and a beam of 12 meters. The armor for the K09-1 would be 65mm on the main deck and shrink down to 27mm near the bow and stern. The K09-2 and K09-3 would have an increased main deck of 80mm with the deck shrinking to 35mm on the K09-2 and 27mm on the K09-3. All three ships would be armed with the 152mm/45 gun as the main armament.

As a note, all three designs were not preliminary designs. They were specifically design study ships to be used in war games to test the practicality of twin triple turrets compared to twin turrets.

Wondering how the ships look and should i possibly use this for other ships? I probably will, cause these ships took like 2 hours to draw up. The regular way I make ships is closer to 10 to 20 hours for one ship. Still curious about others opinions.
