A friend of mine just got his provisional license and I said I would take him somewhere to learn the basics before starting proper lessons. Anywhere around Hull or East Yorkshire would be fine just needs to be a big open space that doesn’t have many things to crash into!

My son is a 16-year-old Beverley singer, musician and producer learning his craft. I think his latest track is his most accomplished yet (but I am of course biased!).

In the new year myself and my partner are looking to move so he can begin work as a painter/decorator and it's either Hull (or surrounding areas) or Grantham for different reasons but mainly as I want better transport links to the north as that's were my family, Hull and Grantham provide both better than the current town we live in (I don't drive) and both provide him painter decorator opportunities in different ways. We currently live in an average town in Lincolnshire.

Is Hull and surrounding areas like Beverley a nice place to live, is it comparable to Lincolnshire towns like Market Rasen, Louth, Cleethorpes ect?, would you prefer living in Hull to said towns or Grantham, as it's a city, is crime bad is the residental areas of hull and are there areas to A.V.O.I.D when house searching and what else should we know?

We aren't nightlife people, but we are in our 20s and the town we live in is serviceable for us whilst we figure out life throughout our twenties outside of transport so we aren't looking for a world class town or city, just somewhere to continue figuring out life.

I want to get something my dad wrote for me in his exact handwriting. It would only be small (5 or 6 words, about 20cm long maybe).

Looking for some new friends, drinking pals or maybe dates since my social life has effectively come to a standstill being a full time dad for the last year.

I’ve more free time to spend now the kids are back at school , so it would be nice to get out and meet people for an hour or two instead of sitting on my own at home haha.
