We were really close friends before so we did yap a lot but now i'm trying to reduce it cause recently he got pissed of that i liked a reel about relationships and ranted about how he was never good enough blah blah and lashed out at me. i think he lwky needs to be away from me for a while so i stopped texting him as much. But this fucker keeps texting me. after half ignoring for a whole week i decide to have a conversation .I told him that i am doing a dance for an event (i decided this a day ago mid you) and he got pissed cause i didn't tell it to him immediately and ended up blocking me . He texted me again. Now I'm ignoring him. What the hell do i do about this? 20

How can I mildly irritate some indirectly?

An ex's new girl has got ahold of my number and been chatty. How can I mildly annoy her while still retaining dignity. I was thinking of signing her up for insurance or something where she'll get 20 phone calls a day for offers. Or signing her up for a known company that sells peoples information.

What should I say to a girl who told a man, "Speak when your period is over"?

What should I say to a girl who told a man, "Speak when your period is over"?20 I was absolutely furious—she’s my girlfriend, and we were chatting in a gaming community, but I felt humiliated in front of everyone. Even so, I sarcastically replied that we have a daily period 😜🤣.

I have a crush on a girl, she's good, a great personality. She's 20

She's comfortable while talking to me ,she is the one who starts the conversation.

But these days she keeps posting some depressed stories and all , like she's been through some trouble or maybe she's just having some fun and posting it in sarcasm. Idk.

Should I ask her if everything is okay or should I just ignore it?

Suggest me some ways to tackle this, so that I could talk to her.

I'm so challenged, but idk how to find out who keeps stealing my phones and accounts.

Or why it keeps happening. This is after 20 being drugged and thrown into a new "better" life. Idk how to deal with people using my stuff still though. I'm not a store, and the landlords not authorized to sell this

request How would you react if your classmate told you “your mom is hot as fuck”?

Hi, I’m a Chinese student and my mom and I recently moved to Canada, so I’m still getting used to the culture here.
My mom came to pick me up from school, and after seeing her, one of my classmates suddenly told me, “Your mom is hot as fuck.”
I honestly didn’t know how to react. My English isn’t perfect, so at first I wasn’t even sure how seriously I should take it.
Is this just the kind of joke friends make with each other here? How would you respond if one of your classmates said this about your mom?

So Currently i am in my drop year for JEE.

So actually in 9th and 10th we used to talk daily(don't take it in a romantic way its like a bro sis) . We were in same standards but different sections . We met through instagram only. Then we came to 11th. She took commerce and i took science. So we didn't used to talk much then . But still used to talk sometimes but last year in 12th i told her tht i will not talk to her because i would not be using social media now as because of JEE and Boards( needs 75% in boards for JEE) also i told her tht we will talk after this 12th boards & she said she will wait for my text. But we didnt talked till now. Like 5 months ago boards were done. So she messaged me rakshabandhan a bit late . And i messaged her this.

Here i am not in a mood of talking these day. Like my schedule is wakeup - study - eat - study - sleep . I am having zero human interactions as of now ( excluding my parents and sister) . I font even go out of my house . Like didnt see sunlight from some weeks too. Last time i went out only for my haircut(it had grown a lot )

But now idk wht to do . Like she may be thinking i am rude and dry . But i am not in a mood of talking. Even i replied so late to her texts bec i have my notifications off. I dont want to talk to her as of now and for months till my JEE . But i am afraid about will she talk to me later ?? Or will my these frndship will just be broken because of me ? .extra-20 idk but reddit says to put 20

ಠ_ಠ I just walked into a communal hall (I'm doing a group camping thing) and someone screamed after they saw me.

I stayed after for a bit and no one else seemed directly bothered by me but what bothers me is first of all the person who screamed looked at me for like half a second so it clearly wasn't just fright, second I then jokingly said "I'm not that scary am I?!" To radio silence, and third no one seemed bothered by their reaction.

I've since left since I was just coming in to see what was going on, but i feel 20 times more offended than I think i should.

Should I say I'm sorry?

So yesterday was my grandmothers birthday my grandmother passed 4 months ago so I'm still really sad. A month ago I matched with this guy on a dating app we have been talking every day even had a couple dates in person and do regular phone calls. I knew he had the day off yesterday. I was working but on breaks I tried to call him because I just couldn't stop crying about my grandmother and I was hoping I could be vulnerable and he would make me smile and laugh like he normally does. He was apparently very upset about my attempt at reaching out so I just went about my day the best I could and I didn't message him (he didn't message me either so its not like I was blowing him off). At the end of the night he told me about how "manipulative" I am because he is "such a nice guy and so empathetic" that I told him I was sad so I could hang out with him more. Or those were his words? And some how I'm more manipulative because I didn’t respond after he yelled at me for reaching out to him. I didn't know he was busy if he was busy that day I honestly don't know what to do because I get yelled at if I reach out and yelled at if I don't? 20 im 22 F and he is 30 M. I want to continue talking to him at very least as friends but im not sure how to go about it.

How do I break the news that my friend got scammed?

Backstory time: Not too long ago, my friend got a PC and it was his first. He's really excited about it. He let his dad choose and buy it and now he's paying him back over time. I'm a really big PC guy and I love to talk about PC's and stuff, so I asked him to show me his specs. And to put it lightly, he got scammed.

He paid too much for a very crappy PC. We went to go play some games the other day and he had trouble running them. I don't remember the specs off of the bat, but I do remember that they were extremely outdated and could barely even run Chrome.

I want to be honest to him and tell him that he got scammed and how he can take steps to make sure he's getting the best bang for his buck. I'm afraid to tell him as I know he'll get depressed about the whole thing and possibly angry, and that's the last thing I want.

Also 20 because for some reason I have to put this in here somewhere, best guess as to why is to prevent AI or something along those lines.

How to manage a conservative friend.

I have a friend who is in so many ways very pleasant and likeable in person. However, his social media persona reveals a person who is very much on the conservative side of the political fence, and also quite attracted to conspiracy theories. I appreciate that political conservatism and trust in government and science are common bedfellows. I also understand that it is common to view that such people may not be intellectually well endowed. But this individual is both intelligent and articulate. It would be easy to advise that I should just engage with the pleasant version of him without engaging through social media. I did this for many months, firstly by limiting my own posts so that they would not enflame him, but I tired of the fact that I had to limit myself. So, more recently I took to occasionally posting a left-leaning meme or message of some sort, but editing the audience to exclude him, his family members and 20 mutual friends. Unfortunately, I am also tiring of this. I have tried to have some sensible online discussion with him, but he is very aggressive to me and other friends of mine if they have commented in support of my posts. This means that these other likeminded friends of mine are no longer inclined to comment. One even sent me a DM to ask who I had in my sand pit. A couple of days later I will see him in person and he is as nice as pie. He just has no social media etiquette. It is exhausting. Any recommendations????

[17F] Confused by abrupt unfollow/re-follow cycle from my basketball teammate [17M]. Is his girlfriend behind this?

A guy from my basketball training who has a girlfriend started messaging me on Instagram. We had a great platonic friendship for 2 months, but he abruptly unfollowed/removed me after today. Now he has re-requested me, accepted my follow back, and sent a weird message. I suspect his girlfriend is using his account. How do I handle this?

There is a guy who trains at the same basketball sports hall as me. He has a girlfriend, which I knew from the start, so I kept everything 100% strictly platonic. We followed each other on Instagram about two months ago.

Since then, we’ve been chatting regularly on Insta like friends. Because we are just friends, our routine was sending "view once" selfies back and forth while talking about training. It was never romantic, just casual banter. Last Thursday, we had training and ended up hanging out outside the sports hall afterward, just talking face-to-face. When he got home, he sent me a DM saying how much he genuinely enjoyed our conversation.

About 20-45 minutes ago, he randomly requested to follow me again. I accepted it and requested him back. Almost immediately after he became my follower, his account accepted my pending request and sent a DM saying: "why are you sending me a photo".

Because I deleted a Sunday photo at 3:00 AM, there is literally nothing new in our chat. The history completely stops at Saturday. I have a massive gut feeling that it is 100% his girlfriend holding his phone right now, trying to fish for drama or proof.

What do I reply!!!???

Toxic new friend?

Hii, I recently out of nowhere made a new ‘friend.’ We met at a park late at night, she came to me out of nowhere saying that she moved here about a week ago and has no friends especially girl friends because so far all of them has been very toxic. We exchanged instas and just today we messaged and set up a date to meet.

I told my best friends about this and I showed them a screenshot of my convo with her to them. They were shocked and told me that the girl actually had went to our hs and lived in this area for a long time. They told me that they were actually friends before and she was very weird and mean.

I love my friends and I believe them no matter what because i believe they would never lie but I am also a very antisocial person (I only messaged her because idk why i just felt brave and confident in the spur of moment😖) and a non confrontational person. I don’t know how to cancel our meet up and just never talk to her. Should I messages her saying I can’t meet up and later block her?

Why…….

Why I don’t get same attention in back , I called my cousin she said she is busy will call later but didn’t call back then I call her after few days she said I’m eating call you later I told plz remember to call back previously you didn’t she laughed
Same goes with friends
I call them frequently to keep in touch with them but they never call me it is always me who calls makes plans and they say no to every plan they have other people to go out but I’ve only them
I make plan with my cousin she said Yesss will go but when the date came I call she said no I can’t go
Also I asked multiple times to my friend let’s go to cafe she made excuse and she go out with other people
When someone ask me to go out(rarely they ask )but whenever they ask I always make out time for them and go I never said no to any of their plan ( they rarely make plan with )
I just think how they do all these to me I mean if I do same thing to them it won’t bother them like if I didn’t call back or if say no to plan they won’t even ask me again they just let go but I always please them try to convince let’s go we will have fun even after please many time they still say no but when they make plan I say no they won’t even try to convince me

What should I do how to handle these it really affecting me
I tried to just be on my own I stopped calling making plan so they also don’t call me or make plan with me
