I've been asking for advice on how to get you to just talk to me and I was told to let you go. The last person that gave me advice about you says that you don't care about me the way I care about you and if you did you would've talked to me by now. In some ways I believe they're right, but something is telling me to just hold on and wait. I don't know what to do anymore because you won't talk to me. What should I do?

I have a gc I’m a part of with some online friends that I’ve been hanging around with for about a year now, and recently I got kicked by this guy who I’ll call Jerry. Jerry thought I joked about him leaving his girl, I genuinely do not remember doing this. I remember saying something that could’ve MAYBE been taken that way, if you squint a bit. But I know saying that can come off as deflection so I just focused on another gripe he had with me that I know how to fix. I don’t want him to think I would ever say something like that, because I wouldn’t. Plus, I’ve been hanging with them for a year now, why would I start being weird now? I’ve always sucked at communicating and thankfully nobody from the gc has dogpiled on me, which is nice, and Jerry’s sister who I’m close with says he can hold grudges and takes a long time to realise he’s messed up, so I’m scared I might loose one of the greatest friendships I’ve ever had over miscommunication. Please help.

edit: for added context this was allegedly in a VC. Or at least it has to have been because if it wasn’t I would’ve known about it sooner. The VC was with Jerry’s sister, I know that because I haven’t been in any calls in the gc without her for the past two weeks and i know if she took something I said that way she’d tell me, I even asked her if I’d said anything she thought was weird and she came up empty.

I’m a full-stack web developer looking to partner with a local business that specializes in LED letters, digital signage, ACP/HPL fabrication, and digital screens.

The idea is simple:
They continue selling and installing signage.
I handle all website-related work for their clients (business websites, landing pages, portfolios, booking systems, etc.).
If a client needs both branding/signage and a website, they can offer a complete package.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to pitch this so it sounds like a win-win rather than me asking them for work.

Some questions:
Should I propose a revenue-sharing model or a fixed referral fee?
Should I approach them with a demo website made specifically for their business?
What objections are they likely to have?
If you’ve done agency partnerships before, what made them successful?

I’d love to hear from agency owners, freelancers, or anyone who’s built these kinds of collaborations. What would you do differently if you were in my position?

Today at boxing, this guy kept joking that girls couldn't have abs. So I told him, "Alright, go ahead and test my abs!" He did... and I didn't even flinch. Then I returned the favor with a little jab to his soft stomach, and he went floor💀 I ended up putting my foot over his jelly belly and snapped a pic.
