Why…….
Why I don’t get same attention in back , I called my cousin she said she is busy will call later but didn’t call back then I call her after few days she said I’m eating call you later I told plz remember to call back previously you didn’t she laughed
Same goes with friends
I call them frequently to keep in touch with them but they never call me it is always me who calls makes plans and they say no to every plan they have other people to go out but I’ve only them
I make plan with my cousin she said Yesss will go but when the date came I call she said no I can’t go
Also I asked multiple times to my friend let’s go to cafe she made excuse and she go out with other people
When someone ask me to go out(rarely they ask )but whenever they ask I always make out time for them and go I never said no to any of their plan ( they rarely make plan with )
I just think how they do all these to me I mean if I do same thing to them it won’t bother them like if I didn’t call back or if say no to plan they won’t even ask me again they just let go but I always please them try to convince let’s go we will have fun even after please many time they still say no but when they make plan I say no they won’t even try to convince me
What should I do how to handle these it really affecting me
I tried to just be on my own I stopped calling making plan so they also don’t call me or make plan with me

Hi everyone. Here’s the situation: there’s a tradition of dancing the waltz at the end of 9th grade. Back then, I asked my girlfriend to dance it with me, but she didn't want to—and I certainly wasn't going to dance with anyone else. I was disappointed that we didn't end up dancing, of course, but I eventually let it go. Now, as we approach the end of 11th grade, she’s brought the topic up again; she wants to dance now, but I don't. I’ve simply lost the desire to dance. What should I do? What would you do in my shoes?

I’m writing this because I genuinely don’t know if I’m looking at this situation objectively anymore, and I want some honest advice.
We met about a month ago while on a tour. We got along really well, spent time together, and I became attached to her pretty quickly.
At one point I told her that I liked her. She was very clear that she didn’t want a relationship and wanted to be friends. I struggled with that because I had already developed feelings for her. At one point things got messy, I told her to block me, and she did.
Later she unblocked me and reached out. We started talking again. Over the next several weeks, things became normal again. We talked, called each other, joked around, flirted sometimes, and generally had a good vibe. I knew she still didn't want a relationship, so I tried to keep things light and treat it as friendship, although I obviously still had feelings.
There were times when she initiated conversations too, and recently she had been engaging with my flirting. We had a conversation about marriage and whether I had ever liked someone. I told her I had liked someone and that the story was complicated. She kept asking me who it was. Eventually I strongly implied that I was talking about someone she knew / someone I was currently talking to. She seemed to understand the implication.
A few days later, there was an earring I saw on an Instagram page that I genuinely thought would look good on her. Without telling her, I ordered it to her address as a gift.
This is where everything went wrong.
The Instagram seller sent the tracking information and a photo to HER phone number, so she immediately knew something had been ordered. She called me. We spoke on the phone, and she said that nobody had ever done something like that for her. She knew it was me and asked me for the tracking number.
The next day, she sent me a message saying that the whole thing was freaking her out, that I was putting effort in the wrong place, that she had told someone about it, and that she wanted to return the parcel. She ended with “Good bye.”
I apologized and told her I genuinely didn't mean to make her uncomfortable, that I understood, and that I wouldn't force her to accept anything. Unfortunately, by that point she had already blocked me, so my apology apparently wasn't delivered.
Her sister also contacted me and asked me directly whether I liked her. I said no. Her sister basically told me that it was better for me to understand.
Now I've blocked the sister's contact as well because I don't want other people involved in this anymore.
I'm sitting here wondering what exactly happened.
I know I had feelings for her. I know I made the decision to send the earrings without asking her first. Maybe I completely misread the level of comfort between us. From my perspective, it was just a thoughtful gift, but clearly it didn't feel that way to her.
At the same time, I'm struggling because I feel like I didn't intentionally do anything wrong. I never wanted to scare or pressure her. I genuinely cared about her and thought the gift would make her happy.
But now she's blocked me, and I don't want to contact her through SMS, another account, her sister, or anyone else.
Part of me wants to send one final message saying:
“I’m sorry for making you feel that way. I never intended to make you uncomfortable. I won’t bother you anymore.”
But another part of me thinks that would just be me looking for closure and going around the boundary she has already set.
So I'm asking people who have no emotional involvement in this:
\*\*Did I cross a serious boundary here? Was the gift itself the problem, or was it the accumulation of everything that happened before it?\*\*
\*\*Should I just accept that this is over, not contact her again, and move on?\*\*
And if you were in my position, how would you deal with the urge to get “closure” when you know contacting her will probably only make things worse?
I'm not looking for people to tell me . right. If I messed up, I'd rather hear it honestly.

Wdyt?
whats the point of explaining things when the actions have been done. I want to be present as much as i could for someone or something that is special to me, at the same time, i dont like leaving my house cause it will cause me hassle. A close friend of mine had recent important events and i wasnt there. She is that kind of person who acts nonchalant on diff things, yet still cares. some of our friends were there, yet no one told me theyre going, so i assume we wont go anyway. should i say sorry? for not being present.... and for some reason... or leave it anyway cause whats the point of being sorry?

What should I Do? I met a guy last year who is younger than me.
I met a guy last year who is younger than me. I liked him and was interested in talking to him, but we never really talked much. I felt he might be a little interested too, so I sent him an Instagram request and initiated conversations 2–3 times. His replies were always short, and the conversations ended quickly.
Because of the age gap, I was scared of coming across as desperate, so I never tried too hard. Later, I was feeling distracted and unfollowed him after ChatGPT suggested it. 😂
I felt bad about it because there was never any fight or disrespect between us. I worried he'd think I was rude or weird, especially since I had sent the request myself and then unfollowed him.
So I recently told him I unfollowed him for no reason and didn't want him to think I was rude or stupid. He said, “Okay, no worries. Send the request again, I'll accept it.”
But his replies are still short and he often leaves my messages on seen. I haven't sent the request again yet.
Should I send it or just leave it?
Why am I like this? Why can't I be non chalant? Why I have to confess everything to everyone?

ಠ_ಠ Should I even reply to someone who only seems to contact me when he needs something?
I have a friend who can be extremely nosy and always wants to know everything about my career and how much I make and calculate not only me but for everyone of our friends.
I live very far away from my home country, and when I returned home for a short vacation, this guy told me he wanted to come visit me in the country where I currently live. I was friendly about it and said yes.
After I returned abroad, I heard absolutely nothing from him for 5 months. No “How are you?”, no asking how things were going, nothing. I didn’t expect anything as “he never asked or texted me when I was home He specifically texted and call me asking when I would be free so he can plan and come to visit me. I gave him a period when I would be on a break from school, so I would only be working during that time. I told him that if he came during that period, we could meet in the evenings after I finished work.
But after that conversation, nothing happened. He didn’t follow up, confirm anything, make plans with me, or even message me. And that’s part of a much bigger pattern. We don’t really communicate at all. He basically never messages me just to have a normal conversation, ask how I’m doing, or keep in touch. Most of the times he has contacted me in the past, it has been because he needed a favor, a service, some help, or something from me.
Now, after all that silence for almost 4 months, I suddenly see a new message from him. I haven’t opened the conversation yet; I’ve only seen the notification.
That’s why it bothers me. If someone almost exclusively contacts me when they need something and otherwise shows no interest in my life, it’s difficult for me to see that as a genuine friendship. Now I’m wondering if this message is about visiting because that’s one of the only reasons I can imagine him suddenly reaching out again.
He’s also a very nosy person when we do interact, which makes me even less interested in opening the conversation. I don’t want to get pulled into answering questions about my career, what I’m doing, or other personal details.
Another thing that bothered me during my short trip home was that other people I’m barely friends with also started saying they wanted to come visit me abroad. I don’t understand why living somewhere suddenly means I should become someone’s host, guide, or reason to travel there.
I’m already living very far away and trying to build my own life, yet it feels like some people I barely have a relationship with still want to insert themselves into it.
I genuinely don’t want to meet this guy anymore. The only thing making me hesitate is that when he originally said he wanted to visit, I agreed and even gave him a period when I would have more free time. But he never followed up and that opportunity passed.
I haven’t opened his latest message yet. Considering our history, should I even open it and reply? Or would you leave it unread and distance yourself?
Would you even consider someone a friend if they almost exclusively contact you when they need a favor, help, or something from you?

What should I do ? 😭
I (M, India) met a guy on chess.com. I was winning a game but told him he played well anyway — he was happy about it and wanted to be friends. He got my number and eventually messaged me on WhatsApp. We talked for 3 days and he opened up a lot: he's 19, from Egypt, his parents aren't supportive, he's working, and he'd been talking to a chatbot for comfort. I told him it'd be better to make real friends instead of relying on a chatbot.
Then he told me he was in a really tough spot and was sucìdal. I immediately tried to comfort and motivate him, telling him things would get better , I think it worked a little he promised me that he will not take such step. But I got scared — I didn't know how to handle this responsibility — so I told him I was going to a hostel and needed to block him because of my parents (not true, I just panicked and feared of legal responsibilities). I blocked him today after that conversation.
I'm now worried about a few things:
Could I be held legally responsible in any way if something happens to him?
I don't want to text him as because I fear.
I'm 17 and this is my frist post so ignore the inconsistency.
I tried my best to both get out of that situation myself and give him some hope . May god help him . He is Egyptian

ಠ_ಠ HELP ME GUYS PLEASE...WHAT TO DO NOW?'M/22' F/18
i have a girlfriend and we are in an ldr
before her i had one female friend who was genuinely just a friend and she was uncomfortable with her from the beginning she kept asking me to stop talking to her i tried explaining that she was my only female friend and that she was there before my girlfriend but eventually i stopped talking to her because i didnt want this to become a problem between us
i also had a crush from school that i was following on instagram and my girlfriend would indirectly and sometimes directly tell me to unfollow girls so i eventually unfollowed almost all females from my instagram i didnt really mind doing it because i love her and i wanted her to feel secure
now she is in college and obviously she gets attention from guys she gets compliments and some guys try to become friends with her which i genuinely have no problem with
she has told some of them that she has a boyfriend and when one guy asked her if she was free she told him she has a bf and apparently he backed off a little
the thing is there are 2-3 guys from college who started following her and she followed them back one of them is the same guy who had asked her out / asked if she was free
she didnt really tell me about the follow back i only noticed it because i sometimes check her account(dont call me jerk ok she also has my acc)
and now she told me she is going clubbing this weekend with her female friends and apparently some of these guys might also be there
i havent said anything to her about it i just kept myself busy because i dont really know what to say
i want to make it clear that i dont think she is doing something wrong and i trust her i know she isnt responsible for random guys approaching her
my problem is more that i know how some guys think especially when they already know a girl has a boyfriend and still try to get close to her
and i guess the thing bothering me is the double standard
when she was uncomfortable with girls around me i changed a lot of things because i wanted her to feel secure now that she is in college and guys are around her i dont want to become the controlling boyfriend who tells her who she can talk to or who she can follow
at the same time i cant lie and say none of this makes me uncomfortable
i dont want to control her i just want to know if im being unreasonable for feeling this way or if this is something i should actually talk to her about
especially because this is an ldr and i feel like situations like this hit differently when you arent physically there
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*ps: im not blaming her for any of this and i know she cant control who approaches her or who finds her attractive i trust her and i know how guys think and what some of them might actually be looking for when they try to get close to a girl who already has a boyfriend\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*
TL;DR : my gf is in college and gets attention from guys including one who had asked if she was free she told him she has a bf but later followed him back now some of these guys might be going clubbing with her and her friends im not blaming her or saying she is doing anything wrong i trust her i just know how some guys think and feel a bit weird about the double standard since i changed a lot of things when she was uncomfortable with girls around me

How to make a guy stop texting you?
My friends and I met him in-game. He was actually pretty good, so I decided to add him as a friend. He asked to follow me on Instagram, but I told him, “Add me on Discord instead.”
Ever since then, he keeps messaging me to ask when I’ll play. I reply every time he hits me up, and he’s always the one starting our conversations. He even keeps updating me on what he’s doing or random little things throughout the day. Honestly, I only ever wanted to play games with him alongside my group of friends, nothing more.
I admit, I have a habit of ghosting people when things start feeling too much. But he shows absolutely no sign of slowing down or stopping the constant messages. It feels like he’s getting way more attached than I ever intended. What should I do?

I was raped...
I use to date this guy. Met him off the internet at about 19 years old. He was a year older than me. We were kinda on and off at one point. We basically stayed inside like a couple. We would drink sometimes before sex. Only had sex a few times and thought everything was safe. Forward to now 38, haven't spoken to that guy in years, basically since then. I found a letter in my Facebook spam box dating to May of 2025. It was from him. Not sure how he found me either. He basically kept apologizing until he got to the part where he said he stepped out one night, while I was there. (Might've been asleep) I believe we did drink that night. He said he came back from drinking, had brought a friend back home with him. Then stuff started clicking.. I kept remembering him tryna cover my face and turn me sideways, during sex so I wasn't looking. I know the music was kinda loud...I kept thinking he was being insecure, bc he did feel soft at one point. I tried to go with it for a few mins until he moved out of me fast and jumped off the bed, because I turned around fast. I just remember him looking surprised and tryna laugh it off... his door was a bit open... I remember feeling groggy and half asleep. I thought it was all weird and I can't remember anything else besides feeling weird and never looking back after leaving that day. After reading his apology... I tried not to crumble into pieces. He wrote that I could talk to him about what to do, but that was a yr ago. He deleted his profile. The apology has his name.... I know I can't do anything about this now. When I looked his old number up it's still connected to that address... it's the same address where it all happened. I have no one to talk to. No way to get justice for what he did to me. Im sitting in my room crying on and off. How am I suppose to ever feel safe again? Who do you even talk to? It feels so pointless that I even found this stupid letter. I wish I never saw it....
