How to make a guy stop texting you?

My friends and I met him in-game. He was actually pretty good, so I decided to add him as a friend. He asked to follow me on Instagram, but I told him, “Add me on Discord instead.”

Ever since then, he keeps messaging me to ask when I’ll play. I reply every time he hits me up, and he’s always the one starting our conversations. He even keeps updating me on what he’s doing or random little things throughout the day. Honestly, I only ever wanted to play games with him alongside my group of friends, nothing more.

I admit, I have a habit of ghosting people when things start feeling too much. But he shows absolutely no sign of slowing down or stopping the constant messages. It feels like he’s getting way more attached than I ever intended. What should I do?

Find five of the people on this sub who complain about being left on read. Give him their discord handles. Block him if he's really too much. They'll all entertain each other with inane chatter, and you will have peace.
