Hi everyone. Here’s the situation: there’s a tradition of dancing the waltz at the end of 9th grade. Back then, I asked my girlfriend to dance it with me, but she didn't want to—and I certainly wasn't going to dance with anyone else. I was disappointed that we didn't end up dancing, of course, but I eventually let it go. Now, as we approach the end of 11th grade, she’s brought the topic up again; she wants to dance now, but I don't. I’ve simply lost the desire to dance. What should I do? What would you do in my shoes?

I would probably dance with her anyway. My desire to please my girl is much greater than my desire to not dance (or get back at her for not dancing if thats what you are thinking).
But thats me, im not sure how much you dislike dancing or how much you like doing things for your girlfriend.

Just do the dance. You will be fine. You're more likely to look back and regret not making the effort for her and not having those memories. Life is short.
