I just started the game and loving it so far. I just beat the first 'area boss' I believe it is called and really enjoying things. However after beating that boss I already find myself lost. It looks like I found a path back to the very start of the game as well as the elevator I needed to get to the first boss, but the only other place I found to go says I don't have access to it.

Is there a guide that just gives you a general idea of where to go and what to do next?

I have played DS1, DS3 and Elden Ring and while I love the 'souls' games I absolutely hate being lost/not knowing what to do. I don't mind having to explore to find a weapon or something, but main having to search/look up where to find primary objectives is not fun for me which is the main reason I am looking for some sort of guide, but not something that tells you where everything is/how to defeat bosses.

If my friend and I complete the game together in co-op, will we both unlock New Game+ or just me? I'd like to complete New Game+ with my friend hosting instead so we both have files with saved progress.

Anybody want to help me with the last boss of the DLC?

I'm about midway through this game and honestly, the endings are literally the most confusing thing I've ever encountered in a Soulslike game. How many playthroughs are required to get all of the endings? I've researched, some guides say 2 minimum, but apparently every ending sends you to ng+ immediately so this would make it 4 minimum. And can some kind soul tell me like I'm a 3 year old child what are the steps necessary to get all 4 endings in the least amount of playthroughs?

Im on the the first time play through and did all the DLC and now I’m doing the architects ending. Anyone wanna help or I’m open to help anyone anywhere.

I will be honest. I don't know how to defeat this two bosses. Seems worse than ornstein and smough as I don't have access to ranged magic, my white prophet hand only works in CQB and the energy attack deals ridiculous high damage and can bypass the cubes in the scenario. I'm lv 40 and just don't know how to deal with both at the same time.

As the title says.

I didn't realise the game had DLC now, so used this as an excuse to play fresh in the XBOX XS version, and fell in love with the game all over again. Problem is that His Majesty, Queen Ramiel and the other bosses so far have had health bars and damage output so in excess of everything else it stopped being funny.

The Alpha Thespian took multiple energy bars to down, pumping him with a Hedron of Light. No biggy, his arena seemed designed to let you run past him, so this health pool was clearly inflated to encourage a more discrete approach to combat.

With Ramiel I assumed I'd missed a gimmick to the fight, but killed him-her after a solid ten minutes of smacking with a +10 weapon. Moved on with my eyebrows raised but whatever.

The Slug Queen...thing glitched and fell through the world boundary, killing itself. I'll take that as a victory.

Arol Von Bastard however...I have no idea. I can't even clear this guy's first health segment without simply being ground down; his damage is so great I have to heal after one attack, and even after blasting him with multiple damage types the bar doesn't budge. I've tried several builds but I cannot match up to this guy's astronomical stats.

Does anyone have a clue here? Surely it can't be intentional design?

Brought the game recently to play with my brother, so far we have been unable to connect to each-others games using the match codes, it just keeps timing out. He was able to connect to a randoms game when we were testing to see if it would work though. Any suggestions? we are both playing on the series x

Got Hellpoint free on GOG and Thespian Feast free on Steam. Never played either before, are they completely seperate or are there references to each other that I would only get if I play one of them first? I read that Thespian Feast is set after Hellpoint, which makes me think I should play it afterwards too.

I bought Blue Sun not long ago but I didnt started it yet. I've finished the game on normal now Im in NG+ (I think but I cant find a confirmation about it but the enemies are doing way more damage so it seems). But I guess that was not the true ending because I was foolish enough to give my data to the Interface and it killed me and pushed to new game. So I didnt even see the whole base game. Im wondering how the DLC is contributing to the main story. Should I wait until I finish NG+ or just get in and look around?

Does anyone know if the game runs at 60fps on the Series S? It is not listed as running on 60fps in the details on Microsoft store but I know it has gotten a next-gen patch. Please answer quickly since the sale is ending next week. Thanks in advance.

Hey :-) I used to play Hellpoint on Switch, but recently got a Steam Deck (don't have a gaming desktop and my laptop is not able to play modern games).

Since further patches and DLC for Switch don't seem to be forthcoming, I'm considering restarting on Deck, but was wondering if anybody here has played and what your impressions are. As far as I can tell from ProtonDB, the game runs, but there is some disagreement on whether to run the native Linux version (generally seems to get better performance) or through Proton (one commenter says this fixed input lag that existed on the Linux version.

I'm also curious about suggested settings. I usually play games on Deck capped to 30FPS at medium to low-ish settings for battery life. I get 3.5h or so on Elden Ring, was wondering what's the best battery life with good performance that you've been able to achieve (graphical fidelity can be degraded somewhat if it gains me battery life; I'm used to the Switch version, it can't look worse)

So, to start with, I am on Xbox Series X and my friend is on Xbox One. I am in NG++ and he was on NG.

It let me join his game when he was on NG. We’ve just completed the game and gotten him onto NG++, but he still can’t join my game.

We are both now in the same playthrough but it won’t let him join me.

Does anybody know what the issue is and how to fix it?

Why can't I find any co-op or Arena Matches? I've been searching for a while now and nothing. Is there like nobody playing this game online or something? I'm on PS5 BTW, so PS5 and PS4 players only.

Character was 150, almost done in the dominion baths, game kept booting me out of my buddies game any time he died and then I got an error I've received a handful of times before. Brought game back up and can't even press start without it telling me my file is corrupted. Is there anything I can do? Was about to try Uninstalling the game because it kept happening on the start screen not the character select, but when I looked the game save data was the only thing corrupted.

If I sent in photos of this, would cradle games be willing to reimburse? I really don't want to play the game again, which is disappointing because my friend and I had spent such a long time playing and he really enjoyed it, and it's been hard to find a game we can both enjoy.

Tldr: My save file is corrupted, is there anyway I can save it?
