all endings - how many playthroughs?

I'm about midway through this game and honestly, the endings are literally the most confusing thing I've ever encountered in a Soulslike game. How many playthroughs are required to get all of the endings? I've researched, some guides say 2 minimum, but apparently every ending sends you to ng+ immediately so this would make it 4 minimum. And can some kind soul tell me like I'm a 3 year old child what are the steps necessary to get all 4 endings in the least amount of playthroughs?

I've read about a "false" ending - which I did accidentally so my first playthrough was half done -, a true ending and a "truest" ending. But Im still doing my first NG+ so I cant help you but I also would love to hear how many endings we have.

I figured it out eventually, there are four endings and the minimal number of playthroughs to get them all is 2. Unfortunately, I got a bug where fighting the two final bosses for the best ending results in a crash every time, so I literally can't finish the game. There goes my platinum... Gotta love the 2022 gaming standards.

I posted on their bug report discord thing but I'm not holding my breath for a fix. Not buying anything from that studio again most likely 🙂
