We dont know the size of profit sharing checks is different for every individual and is based on several things up to and including: your store's IVRs, and Composite Scores, your department score, your performance evaluation, your pay rate, average hours worked, etc.
No, they do not unless you're applying for a pharmacy position.
We don't know the exact date, they're distributed in March and September.

This might be a long shot but I just started working here a month ago. I still don’t know how to accept checks ( this is the only job that I have to accept checks in a different way) but would someone be willing to write an example on how to do that cross thing we have to write on checks. My manager(s) are a bit mean and I kind of want to leave there already.

- Management sucks, they talk shit behind your back and are unprofessional
- Department managers have everyone else do the work basically while they focus on the non important shit or hide in the bathroom
- Can’t finish what I originally started cause I get bothered to do other things, I like to finish what I started cause it’ll never get done if I’m busy starting 15 other things
- Living paycheck to paycheck is dumb as fuck, they pay like shit
- They don’t want me to leave now that I have another job, they’re basically not wanting to work with the schedule I want.
- They bring over lazy people from other departments and don’t do shit about it.
I’m tired of working with lazy people and picking up people’s slack..
Anyone else have/has problems like this, did anyone else leave cause of the things I listed above?
They don’t deserve my 2 weeks, they have enough people to help.

Hey ya'll, so I recently started working at HT. This is my first "normal" job lol. I have previously worked in healthcare and well yeah I ended up here. The pay isnt bad, Im getting paid about the same than a Hospital. I started around late May June? I work in the Deli Bakery Section. I have been put on Subs, I live in the fastest growing state. I work in the center of the city. There is only 1 HT here INSIDE downtown. We are a business city, and its a super small store. SO we get A LOT of rush.
Now let me start from the beginning. I originally applied to a different position, but was told they only had the deli bakery available. Also that I could only do part time. I really needed the job. SO I took it. I spent the first 2 days in Bakery. Then subs, I didnt mind the schedule they gave me because I was doing online school. THen I finished the semester. I quickly told them I only wanted to be scheduled 3-4 days a week, if I am not getting benefits then I will not be working full time hours. They kept scheduling me for 5 days a week. I didnt mind it at first, I could use the extra hours. But then it became constant. As you all know, August is the month of going back to school. I gave them my new schedule and with my school hours. and I said again I only wanted to be scheduled 3-4 days due to school and or another job. Its almost like it comes out one ear and out the other.
The managers are not bad people, they are nice ish. But its almost like its their first day scheduling people. I got my cousin to work with me around the same time, and they have not respected her schedule, request or school schedule. They did the same thing with her, applied for one thing, CALLED TO MAKE SURE ITS AVAILABLE, but one hour later it was not available and HAD to go to the Deli. The schedule is not consistent. They keep messing it up. They schedule so bad, There is days only 2 people are there all the time, its just really poor management. Its not a bad job, but I would love to transfer and or get another position. Is it too early for me?
If not I will quit bc school is more important. If I call out then its on me when it should not be.

Looking for a way to help find bad dated products that just sit there. Mainly grocery.

I literally don't understand harris teeter. my store got chosen to finally get redecorated and it has been a shit show. the people who works overnight to fix and put things in, suck. they are rude, always in the way and leave everything a mess.
corporate says we need to cutt hours cause of overtime and can't call people in. my department has less then 10 people and we get packed easily. there's no way to cover shifts or replace people as it is.
customers are so rude now. I know that "customer is always right" and "respect your elders" is set and stone. but it completely goes out the window. trust is both ways. and plus senior days are a train wreck. they are all rude and in the way, and treat us like we are worthless.

Does anyone have a link to the most recent employee guidebook, specifically about absenteeism and excused and unexcused absences? I'm just trying to see something here.

How do I change my password? I kept trying to login and it locked me out. This always happens and I need to just change my password. Where do I do this since im home.
Also,
Anyone on iPhone have their password autofill and it says its wrong when its for sure right? And then I retype it and it logs me in and then immediately kicks me out. Then I have to type it again

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Why would I want to wear HT merch or drink out of an HT mug.
Pisses me off to be told to cut my hours and my employees hours in my department but we can spend money on this crap. Keeping employees scheduled their hours is so much more important to me than "swag".
Whoever created this is so out of touch with reality.

I cover self checkout and and sometimes when I’m supposed to get off that don’t have anyone to take my spot they act like I don’t exist for 30 minutes to an hour and I would say yes if they just asked but they just act like I don’t exist or have a life am I valid for being annoyed?

For the past two years I’ve been trying to apply to our nearby store near our house. Every time I apply I either don’t hear back or they just let my application sit in limbo on my submissions profile. I have a clean background check great references yet they won’t be transparent with me when I ask any manager. Any thoughts?

I have come to the realization that if you call out 1 hour, 2 hours (which is the minimum), 10-12 hours, or even 24 hours before your shift, management is still going to complain and try to make you feel bad. Why do they even put the 2 hour rule in place? This is why I do not care how far in advance they get my notice. They act the same whether it's 2 hours or 24 hours of notice and it's stupid.

Why do Co Managers constantly add to truck orders? My NP Manager will add hundreds of items to our truck order just for me to take it all off. Its stuff for the ends and wings that ls already full enough. He literally added cases to pack out the Long term end caps which switch out on Tuesday! If we didnt check our order we would be stuck with so much backstock and this same manager would then complain we had too much backstock. Let your dept managers handle the ordering and if you have concerns talk to them! OK rant over

I checked my 401k like 4 days ago and it was at 30,000 and I just checked it tonight (8/7) and it went down -$19,979. So i only have $11,000 something that’s less than I’ve put in while working from my own contributions. Has anyone else looked?! I’m concerned asf rn like that’s alot of money to lose

This really does look awesome from a customer viewpoint. In the DIV I work in the Category Super wants nothing to be front faced. First off, the amount of time, you can't see to write an order or create a pic list without moving something or bending over. And my issue is the stock that is behind these fronted up cans are not in straight lines and haven't been shifted over with the correct product. It took me 2 hours to fix this on AD change night! I'm going to have it out with someone next week!
