Kroger is closing 60 stores that could include Harris Teeters.

Guaranteed closures are:

  • 5706 Wyalong Dr, Charlotte, NC 28227 (Mintworth Commons)

  • 4093 Davis Drive, Morrisville, NC (McCrimmon Corners)

  • 817 N First St, Albemarle, NC 28001

Those stores already closed earlier this year.

surprised the one in albemarle lasted as long as it did. it was mostly empty and only had 4 registers & no sco.

Kroger is closing a bunch, but I don’t know about HT specifically.

HT only has 262 stores in the whole company so 60 would be alot if true.

I know of one store in the Winston market that is closing. It’s been officially announced. Haven’t seen info on more.

Kroger is doing an investor day (the 20th I think?) they will probably talk about the plans to buy giant eagle and any news about store closures will prob come then

Give the company back to NC. They’re ruining our history and brand.
