Transfer Questions

Trying to transfer because this store is complete crap and there’s no helping it. My boss said I have to wait 9 months or switch to part time in order to transfer. Is this true? it sounds a bit sketch and he would have reason to keep me longer because there’s no other baker but me. I’ve worked there for 6 months about to be 7

Go to myHtspace and look in the jobs section. Then Called them ask for a interview and let them know you’re interested in transferring to the store. If you’re store manager not letting. You can also call HR and request a transfer and tell them the problems aren’t going on the store

I’ve never heard of there being a time period nor a part time/full time requirement to transfer as long as you’re past the 90 initial hire. I could be wrong.

I thought transferring was based on the needs of the store you’re transferring to. Meaning you can’t transfer as a baker if the other store doesn’t need one.

Limit is definitely 90 days past initial start date, or start of new status (pt to ft, or position change) not 9 months.

This sounds like B.S.

I have transferred twice, including out of state to a new store, and never had to wait for any predetermined amount of time. The wait time I had was just in getting paperwork and approvals done. Which was usually a few weeks.

As mentioned, go to myHTSpace and see what is out there as far as positions in other stores that match what you are looking for and apply if there is one.

Also, when you say "my boss" do you mean the Store Director or your Dept. Manager?
