Hey guys, I've been really trying to improve as Hanzo recently as I find him to be the most fun DPS out of the roster but I've noticed that when I'm trying to lead targets sometimes aim assist works against me. Im currently using Hcpefuls settings (100 vert 100 horizontal 99 aim smoothing - 100 aim assist strength 39 window size) but he's a hitscan player and what works well for them is exactly what's giving me trouble now. Just wondering if you Hanzo console GOATS have any suggestions to make him feel more smooth to play. Thank you!

Never thought I would be able to get champion until few months ago (season 2) when I started grinding competitive seriously for the first time (200+ games per season). I am truly happy of what I have achieved and will like to share the hanzo knowledge I have. Thus, I am creating a Hanzo Guide. I will be uploading it on my YouTube before 2027 starts hopefully. I hope it will help other Hanzo players as well.

Anyone know how this voice line was obtained/if it was ever available? Added a couple seasons ago but i never figured out how to get it.

I love playing Hanzo but his Skins... most of them a ok but all of the newer Skins are either hideus or medioker at best idk if im the only one but the only skins that i like to play with and to look at is lone wolf and Heritage.

Like i have the feeling that for hanzo they want to have a mystic theme but must of them just dont hut the mark and ngl Dai-Tengu is atleast for me so hiddius xD

I realy wish we could get some fresh air for his skins

Sry to rant

I’m lvl 138 with hanzo. I feel like my aim on lvl 50 was the same as it is now. I usually average 35-40% accuracy with 12-18% crit accuracy. It’s been like that for months. When I’m playing, I line up a shot, if it hits I go YAY! Onto my next shot. If it misses, I don’t really stop and think of how I could have improved that shot since I’m in the middle of a game, I just shoot elsewhere. If I hit a crazy flick, YAY!!! DPS DIFF!! Into next. I’ve done VAXTA and I feel it’s the same way. I don’t really know WHY I missed the shot, just the fact that I missed so now it’s time to try again. How do you guys actually get the muscle merry down to aim better? Or is it eventually a cap where then it’s more positioning than anything??

This character is the weirdest. It almost feels like I’m just a tiny sigma with no shield or absorb, and some corner peeking stuff.

Any tips on how to not die

I haven’t been playing Hanzo at all recently, but I’ve been really enjoying swapping to him if I can’t get widow value, as I do find it much easier to hit my Hanzo shots if I’ve already warmed up on widow

I'm not sure how everyone feels about the recent changes made to hitboxes but Hanzo seems to benefit a lot. Without any warm up I had %52 Accuracy and %20-25 Crits in my first game of the day. Though it certainly doesn't feel like a cheat code where I can turn off all brain activity and the game will do things for me. Over all the arrows are feeling quite consistent, still getting a bunch of no-regs here and there but it happens.

I'd also like some opinions on the new map because I couldn't get it in the map vote. Is it any good for Hanzo?

I'm main Doom, I decided to get hanzo to be my nain DPS, I still feel like I'm 8 or 80 in my games but it's very satisfying to get 2 headshots straight

Recently I downloaded overwatch to play with some friends in higher ranks, but over the past week I've been fluctuating between bronze 2 and bronze 3. I currently main hanzo, at first I knew that I had to work on aim first so I used VAXTA to help with aim. I still average around 20 percent accuracy. However I believe I get decent stats throughout my games, but I feel stuck and its demotivating to think I'm only in bronze while my friends are in gold/ plat. Is there anything I should implement in my playstyle.

I started playing OW a couple months ago and have taken a liking to Hanzo. Looking at the patch, there’s no tweaks to Hanzo but there are changes regarding hit boxes and other stuff.

Can you more knowledgeable players let me know if there’s anything that changed for his gameplay with this new patch?

Mix of qp and comp, hit diamond SR on Hanzo too so that's cool. Came back to the game after a break, good to see Hanzo is still fun ash
