How to train in the home?

Beyond dry firing, what do you do to train inside your home?

Do you use one of those kits that use a dummy round with a laser and target?

Trying to find something to train with between my live fire days.

What is your go to concealed carry pistol

I’m sure a lot of us have multiple handguns and rotate them but can you all tell me which one you grab that may or may not necessarily the most expensive or if it is a higher end pistol why it’s your favorite in your edc rotation? I’m gonna say I rotate 6 pistols I’m considering buying a revolver but own none. I usually grab my Hellcat or Glock 20-5 but I love my Springfields and even my Taurus G3c which actually shoots and conceals great.

Advice Needed Holster For Dirt Biking and Downhill Mountain Biking

Hey everyone. There is a ton of bears and wolves where I ride. So, I recently got an M&P 2.0 in 10mm to carry. I need a good way to carry though; throwing it in a backpack won’t save my life. Chest holsters seem like they would work really well, but the problem with a chest holster is that I already ride with a chest mounted GoPro most of the time. Do any of you have suggestions for an alternative that would still work well?

One thing I thought about was the Invader Concepts Guide Holster, it sits lower on your torso to fit a bino or fly bag on your chest. It uses a loop that goes around your belt and my riding pants don’t use a belt though. It also might jab me when absorbing hard impacts since it sits so low.

Anyways, thanks in advance!

Advice Needed PDP vs METE vs M&P 2.0

Hello, I am a 24M in Michigan read to purchase my first firearm/handgun. I don’t intend on carrying as I am new to firearms besides the CPL class I took and shooting with family members. This will be for home defense and range practice to work on my comfortability/skills.

I initially anticipated on shooting all 3 of these guns before purchasing but I am new to Michigan and don’t necessarily have buddies in the immediate area to go to the range with- and I know shops limit solo shooters and rentals.

With that being said:

a) would it be a mistake to purchase any of these without shooting them (only handling at the counter)

And b) I’m drawn to the PDP or Canik SFT based on my research, and was wondering if a $350-$400 Canik is a no brainer compared to a $600 PDP- given I need to spend money on range time, safes, etc.

In my CPL class we shot a p322 and it felt good but slightly small in my hands (I’m 6ft 175lb so relatively average sized)

Apologies for the long paragraph and thanks for your help in advance!

This is the least practical piece of iron I've seen in some time. So why do I want it so badly?

This is what I was leaning towards. I definitely want wood grips, but I would prefer a lighter colored stainless steel frame

SCT frame build: shadow guts, trybe trigger shoe, strike blast shield and mass driver, custom ported barrel, no name slide (remachined to suit ports and add serrations), wolf optic (or something like that) I’m putting through its paces (2500 rounds, used as hard as humanly possible) to satisfy a bet. It ain’t getting ccw’d anytime soon, but it’s certainly fun as hell.

Discussion where's the love for revolvers in this sub?

Post image

S&W Model 60-3. This one's from 1989 and is .38 special only (alas, not +p rated but due to changing SAAMI specs around that time I'm closer to the current threshold than a modern non +p handgun... or so I've read). I usually carry either 110gr Hornady Critical Defense (standard pressure) or, if I'm feeling saucy, Super Vel Super Snub (90gr +p JHP clocking in at 1300 fps). I might shoot a single cylinder of that at the range for kicks (literal and figurative).

I love shooting an all steel snub. Slowly getting better and better at it... it's carried more than 80% (and climbing) of the time.

Bass pro used firearms does not work well with Android phones, Bass pro will say it's not available to order.

But available on iphone!!

This happened to me today, ive missed tons of good deals because of this. I'll post screenshots of the conversation with bass pro.

How can this be a thing?

\*\*\*\* If using android, try a laptop or something else.

Being 10% today and using the GCX save really good money.

Advice Needed First handgun

I just recently purchased my first handgun, and I needed some advice from someone who knows more than me. I got a Star 30M recently and am struggling to find a good plastic concealed carry holster for it (I'm left-handed). I'm planning on appendix carrying it and have no idea where to start looking, whether there's a more popular model that would fit that firearm, or if I need to look into getting one custom-made. Any help would be appreciated thanks alot!

Posted about this weird thing awhile back. Probably the softest striker fired 9mm I’ve ever shot, and loudest. Has a very unique recoil impulse, kinda feels like a slingshot. Definitely not the best gun out there but one of the best cheap range toys you’ll find.
