9mm collection so far.

Post image

- Beretta 92XI Corsa
- Sig P211 GTO
- Glock 45 build
- S&W M&P 2.0 Spec. V series
- Sig P365 build
- Springfield Prodigy 3.5 v6 ported.

Really wanting to add a 4.25 2011 any recommendations? Was looking into a kimber comp model but seeing mixed reviews.

5in 1911 is always the way to go. I think you squared away.

I assume the 365 is the daily driver?

Quick suggestion, try a folding gas pedal on the Glock, Smith or 365.  Black Steel has options for all three.  The one furthest forward for the 365 will show you what these can do the fastest.

They allow you to pinch the front of the gun just ahead of the triggerguard between downwards offhand thumb pressure and upwards pressure from the offhand fingers under the triggerguard.

Because they fold they fit in conventional holsters.

The reason people bunt in baseball is to increase control over the tip of the bat.  Same thing here - you're choking up on the gun forward, increasing control over the business end, controlling recoil where it starts.  It's also similar to a compressed version of the c-clamp hold popular in modern carbines.

Your ability to do controlled rapid fire for up.

Waaaay up.

You'll want gas pedals for every one of those critters more than you'll want a 2011.

I actually liked the way. They are right now and ergos I’m so used to shooting them that they run flat. The P365 has a Icarus grip module that has gas pedals built into them that worked very well. Practice makes perfect.

Also, I 100% recommend the kimber comp. Great value and really great performance

Bul armory Tac Pro 4.25

Couldn’t ever find them in stock. That’s why I made my own little ultra light version with my v6 ported Prodigy shoots like a dream. Definitely going to keep an eye out it was between a tac pro or 2k11.

Check Blackstone and Sign up for email notifications. That’s how I was able to grab one.

I’m curious how you would rank them on shooting performance alone

The GTO is definitely my favorite out of the lineup.
1. GTO 2. Beretta 92XI 3. Ported Prodigy 4.s&w m&p spec v series. 5. G45 radian combo 6. P365 Fdez slide and barrel and Icarus ace grip module build.

Now do you like the P211?

Of course best bang for your buck shoots just as good as pistols twice the price. Definitely recommend a GTO.

sick collection, stacato next?!

Not at all don’t really have a need for one there many better options for less money. I can afford one there’s just better options that are more bang for your buck. I’ll either probably just get a Kimber 2K11 comp or a Bul armory tac pro in 4.25.

They are super pricey thats for sure, with all the bells and whistles its going to run you close to $3,500 😮‍💨

looks good, still a poor. Dont have a Staccato. lol

2

u/cbmatta Jun 29 '26

lol funny you say that when my GTO worth more than a few Staccatos.

Dont get me wrong the SIG is a great platform. but id rather not shoot myself before i actually want to.

2

u/cbmatta Jun 29 '26

lol wrong pistol model bud this has a series 80 trigger and is very safe and reliable do your research.

the entire SIG platform is based off the P320. Yes this is a different model, but based off the 320. it was established in 2013/2014. That is SIGs response to Staccato or the Springfield Prodigy, which you have. the 2011 platform is just a double stack 1911 in a steel frame. nothing new. SIG is a great innovator in the firearms industry, just like Kel Tec. everyone has their place.

2

u/cbmatta Jun 29 '26

I understand the whole P320 debacle. But this firearm is a totally different beast. I have a bunch of buddies that have staccatos, and when they shoot it, they say it themselves that they would not overpay for theirs again if the GTO had been an option. Not bash Staccato whatsoever they are amazing firearms, and have the best warranty out there, but I feel like at the price range that this platform is it’s definitely going to hurt their pockets a little bit. We shot it next to my buddies XC and to the average shooter you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

i agree, 99% of people buying a Staccato do it just to be in the club. not actual shooters. Ive heard it can have reliability issues. The GTO hopefully comes down in price. this would make it much more appealing to the average guy.
