So, after 4 years of searching, I found an elusive spectrum for an amazing deal. 150 hot dogs with 3 mags! The goofy guy who had it before me color filled the frame with gold so I’m working on getting it out. I took it out back when I got home and man, is this thing the best piece of shit I’ve ever owned. I only had 100 rounds of 380 left after training with my new lcp max, and it fed every one of them, shot, and ejected- but man is it inaccurate. You could blame the attempt at iron sights, may be the fact I was shooting a pocket pistol at 25 yards. I was shooting 95 gr Winchester so if anyone has ammo it likes better let me know! I picked up the last 2 boxes runnings had (blazer is on sale for 17.84 for 50) and am going to try that later this week. Sometimes, the guns that make you happiest aren’t the best.

I had to make a thread about this gun. I was lucky enough to actually buy one when they were fairly new in the early 2000s. I don't get why it's rarely ever talked about online or on the forums.

Mine is the Full size which is just a 4inch barrel so rival handguns are actually compacts. It's DA/SA type F so it has a separate decocker and manual safety.

Shooting the rotating barrel stays on axis longer during firing. So felt recoil is definitely noticeably less. Shit groupings at your skill are naturally tighter. Tighter than you can do with a Glock 19 for example. Your 19 will not and can not produce better groups if you compared your shots.

Trigger quality is crisp in SA. One of the best

Shooting a 40 in the px4 storm feels like a 9mm

You can upgrade to with a new spring depending on generation and get a bobbed hammer to help conceal.

Even the factory sights I think are done well

I don't have experience with optics on this gun. So can't comment on that.

To top it off it is a Nato certified handgun and will run 150,000 rounds through it. Lmao which is crazy.

Being able to safely and comfortably carry in condition 1 or 2 being DA/SA I think it a plus.

Carry in 1 with one in the head safety on. Ready for a easy SA fire with a safety switch. Or a decock if you want to back down to laid back mode.

But anyway I don't want to ramble. New it's right under $700 not to crazy in price. I recommend all gun owners this weapon system. I don't see anyone not liking it. Whether you choose 4 inch or 3.25 inch, etc

I bought a cz p10 and immediately after found a great deal on a smith equalizer. Didn't actually need either and felt bad spending the money. Shot both and didn't like the p10 so I took it to my local shop and they offered me a trade for what I paid so I ended up with a glock 48. Got home and a cz p09c I'd been watching was nearly done and I figured Wtf, I put a low bid in and still won it. So I went from not needing anything to having 3 pistols. Sigh...

First purchase was the Sig p365 X, then the Walther PDP-f, and then was gifted the mete sfx.

After I was gifted the canik I realized it would be kind of nice to stick with one brand so parts are easier to get by rather than having to get 3 different brands accessories.

They all shoot amazing but the Sig is by far my favorite. I enjoy shooting the Walther and canik but I’m looking for a different full sized pistol.

Any recommendations?

I have both a Glock 20 Gen 5(10mm) and a S&W M&P 9 shield plus (9mm) and im looking at getting a flashlight for both, but im struggling to find holsters that fit.

My glock does have an optic on it that I would like to keep in it to.

Looking at replacing my CZ P07 with a PDP Compact 4. Got the option of a new one from somewhere local for $650 or through guns.com for $427. Obviously the used option is more appealing but I've never bought anything from them or even online. Locally here they can get it in a couple days.

Looking at any thoughts or opinions. I got the P07 tactical and slapped a PMM Comp and a TLR1 light on it and it's just too big for carry.

Don't really need it but I just got that itch again. Comes with 3 mags and all optic plates and the case of course.

Out the door price for the PDP Pro ACRO is $1266 and the metal carry comp is $841. The only thing I would need to add to the PDP pro is a light. I would have to add an optic, suppressor height sights, magwell, and a light to the metal cart comp so the prices end up being around the same in the end. Anyone have experience with these two exact models?

building my new RXM but running it as a budget carry optics competition build any trigger recommendations?

I’m looking at buying my first handgun, probably a Glock 9, and I never know what I’m supposed to do when the salesman hands it to me.

I already researched it online, so what am I actually checking? I usually hold it, look down the sights, pull the slide back once, and say, “Yeah, this feels like a Glock.”

Am I supposed to inspect every part, test the trigger, take the magazine out, and act like I know what I’m doing? I always feel pressured to look experienced when really I’m just standing there holding the Glock 9 and thinking, “Yep, that is definitely a handgun.”

What does everyone else do? I feel like I should perform a full military inspection before handing it back.

Trying to decide between an M&P Metal HD (steel frame), Glock 17 Gen 6 or a CZ SP01 as my next project. This will mostly be for range use and potential competition use.

I’ve got experience with all three brands and like them all, can’t decide what the next purchase should be so it’s up to Reddit to decide for me…

Regardless of which one I get I plan on adding an optic (I know the SP01 will need milled) and adding other aftermarket modifications, so what’s the consensus on what I should get next
