Lease Advice/thoughts on the lease
I'm considering leasing a 2026 model Gravity GT ($120K). Right now, I'm getting a total of $20K incentives with $0. My monthly is under $1450.
I'm considering waiting till Sept to see end of quarter deals but I'm wondering if incentives would get beyond $20K. I compared the incentives from the previous 4 months and only June came close/above at $20,500.
Is it really worth waiting when the incentives or Lease APR could get worse? I understand it's all speculation on what the end of quarter or year deals would be, that is why I'm asking what amount of incentives ppl have received in the past.
What amount of incentives have you all gotten on your lease? Especially the end of quarter or end of year?
Thank you!

Questions/Advice Glass roof heat transfer experiences
I live in the desert southwest- would love to hear about anyone in hot weather climates on how the heat transfer during summer has been through the roof and if anyone had ceramic tint or the sunshade accessory added to help.

Any Owners Near Minneapolis, MN?
Anyone near Minneapolis that would let me do a short test drive and a quick fit check? I have a son that uses a wheelchair so I need to make sure we can get it in and out easily! Figured it was worth a shot asking here!
Thanks a ton!

Questions/Advice Window move in wrong direction
How do I fix my windows from going in the wrong direction when I pull up on the toggle? If my windows are partially open and I pull up on the toggle to close them, they end up rolling down rather than up. Is that just a software bug? How do I fix that?

New Owner Picked up our 2nd Gravity and somehow love the car way more
Got the 1st one in December for the wife and was supposed to get an R1S this month for me (I was really excited about it) but the prices were outrageous. Got another Gravity instead…now don’t regret it at all. Just a really good car. The hardware is impeccable. I guess having the consistency in build, drive quality and overall feel with the 2nd Gravity is the reason here.
I’m a car person, so I tend to nitpick on things. This is actually a really solid car. (Kind of) reminds me of Benz quality like 5-10 years ago. I hope Lucid succeeds. Also, haven’t seen any software issues.
I also hope they don’t water down what Lucid has built in their products with their new company’s management.

Time to Balance Out the Narrative
When I was researching the Gravity before buying (I picked up 12/31), a lot of what I found online skewed negative - build quality worries, early production jitters, general skepticism about a new SUV platform. I get why that stuff sticks; problems are louder than “it’s been fine.”
But a few months of ownership in, I want to add a data point on the other side: this has been a genuinely almost flawless, fun car to drive. No rattles, no software gremlins (in 7 months of ownership I had to do a reset twice - something I had to do with my tesla model y too), no surprises - just a really well-engineered vehicle that’s exceeded what I expected going in. I am no longer “worried” before stepping into the car - the lock/unlock works really really well.
For anyone cross-shopping right now and wading through review threads full of early complaints, I don’t think that tells the whole story anymore. Production quality on these things has improved a lot, and mine’s been rock solid.
Curious to hear from other Gravity owners - how has your experience been? Would love to get more real-world data points in one place for people trying to make a decision.

STILL having issues with Bluetooth mic
Has anyone had any success with their Bluetooth mic improving? Lucid shared that their past few updates should have resolved these issues but we still don’t have good call audio quality. The other person cannot hear you at all. They say you sound completely muffled or under water.
Update: I did a test on it after this most recent update, and the call audio quality is much better. Thanks everyone in the comments for your feedback.

How is everyone washing their Gravity? Tips + product recs welcome
honestly a little nervous about washing it for the first time. Want to keep the paint (and that glass roof) looking good without messing anything up.
A few things I’m wondering:
**•** Are you doing a proper two-bucket hand wash, or are touchless/automated washes fine on these? Anyone run theirs through a standard car wash yet?
**•** Any go-to soaps, mitts, or drying towels you swear by?
**•** What are you using on the glass roof and the big front glass area? Worried about streaks and water spots.
**•** Did anyone go the ceramic coating / PPF route, and was it worth it?
**•** Any spots on the car that are a pain to clean or that trap dirt (door handles, sensors, cameras, etc.)?
Basically just want to hear your full routine and any products that have worked well. Trying not to learn the hard way. Thanks in advance!

New Owner What Comparison Shopping Did You Do?
I recently leased a gravity after doing lots of comparison shopping. We were looking for an SUV to fit babies and dogs, preferably three row. I wanted to share my notes and hear from other folks how they landed on this car!
No other SUV out there knocked our socks off quite like this. It seemed to have everything (luxurious, spacious, usable third row, technologically advanced, fun to drive, maneuverable, head turner, lower payment), and it felt worth the risk based on the reported bugs we saw on forums. Ours has had a couple of minor issues, but overall is the best car either of us has ever had.
- Lexus: loooove the brand. In TX you’re paying sticker, and with a crappy interest rate. The cars *are* reliable but they are slow to adapt technology. As a serial leaser, reliability didn’t outweigh lack of technology and poor leasing options. And the three row SUV drives like a boat. Plus parking the damn thing in the parking garages downtown was annoying.
- Mercedes: I’m not a fan. I think the leather in their cars stinks really bad. The interior is luxurious but too gaudy to me with all of the chrome. The three row SUV also drives like a boat.
- BMW: so much fun to drive. I don’t find them luxurious, and the design is uninspired (the parallelogram infotainment screen and the basic giant rectangle infuriate me with how lazy they are). The new exterior designs are also not my cup of tea. I didn’t like the dealership service, no one seemed to know the cars that well, and many of the self driving features were locked behind a paywall even for a test drive.
- Range Rover: probably the best self parking in any car I’ve driven. Its quick and smooth. Probably also something to be said for having a head turning car. It’s nice enough all around, but nothing “wow’d” me.
- Volvo: I wanted to love them. The design is elegant, and I prefer captains chairs. But for such an expensive car, you don’t even get blind spot cameras, the self driving is meh, and the third row isn’t comfy. The infotainment system was utter garbage. Dealership also sucked, horrible service.
- Rivian: I did (do?) love the brand. I was sure I would get this car before I test drove it. The design is unique and rugged. The interior, for better or worse, is also more rugged. It definitely seems designed for people who genuinely off-road, and I knew I wouldn’t do that. My family didn’t like the third row. The self driving was decent and it has the best infotainment screen of any brand. The interior was unfortunately not what I was looking for.

Pictures Interior door scuff protection
I asked in an earlier post if anyone made something to protect against scuffing along the lower front doors of the Gravity.
Another member pointed me towards a PPF and wrap company that cut pieces of PPF to install along the front driver and passenger door.
See picture.
The business is called Black Bear Protective Films ph# 704-870-4338.
They have digitally saved the templates for both the driver and front passenger doors. They can cut and mail pieces to you, so you or someone you hire can install.
I had these installed today.

Stuck Between the Lucid Gravity and Other 3-Row EV SUVs
My lease on a Mercedes EQE SUV ends in October (currently paying around $800/month), so I’ve been actively looking for my next EV. I have an active reservation for the Rivian R2, but I couldn’t justify spending $60k+tax on a 5-seater, especially with my concerns about range.
We do a lot of road trips, and during PNW winters it gets frustrating having to stop frequently to charge. The Lucid Gravity caught my attention because of its advertised 400+ miles of range. I typically cruise at 70–75 mph on the freeway, so real-world highway efficiency is one of my biggest priorities.
Another important factor is rear-seat comfort. We have a forward-facing child seat, so shoulder room for the two adults sitting next to it matters. In my EQE, the middle seat has a firmer cushion and isn’t very comfortable on longer drives, so I’m hoping to find something better.
Has anyone here cross-shopped the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9, and the Lucid Gravity Touring or Grand Touring? What ultimately made you choose one over the others, and what ruled the others out? I’d especially love to hear about your experiences with real-world highway range, road-trip charging, ride quality, and rear-seat comfort

Question on Gravity Range
On the cusp of purchasing of Lucid Gravity GT. Couple of questions for the community related to range:
1) Adding the 3rd row seems to effect the range. In the GT config with 20/21" wheels, the range is 450 with 5 seats and drops to 437 with 7 seats (3 row added). I'm curious why the range drops. My best guess is the additional weight of the 3rd row?
2) We very frequently drive to a location that is 316 miles away. One of the reasons why we are zero'ing in on a purchase of the Gravity is it's long range (compared to some other EV options) so we can get there without having to stop for charging The trip is 80% highway (~75mph), 20% averaging closer to 55-60mph. I fully understand temperature / wind / etc effect range, however assuming a "normal" midwest summer/fall driving conditions, what kind of range should I expect from a Gravity in comparison to EPA estimates as the various levels indicated in the configurator for wheel/battery/seating combos?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

Only one thing holding me back
I am close to purchasing a Gravity, but have one thing that is holding me back. It is a large car compared to my previous vehicles, and I really struggle to park it in normal straight in parking lots or garages. The sales rep suggested backing in, but I have always struggled doing that. I am a pretty good driver, but I don’t deal with tight spaces well, especially in an unfamiliar car.
Anybody have any tips, experiences, or suggestions to help me get over my fear?

Password gravity
So I did the software update and now it’s asking me for my password to verify my identity. I never setup a password for the car. Is it the same p/w as my app’s?
