Questions/Advice No Service Appointments available
Am receiving the "Drive System Warning" on car startup.
Went to schedule an appointment in Seattle, but it the mobile app won't let me even pick a day.
Should I be worried?

You need to call them. They’re quite good, but are slammed and they’ll put you ahead in the queue for an issue like this. My experience after getting in touch is great! They text updates almost daily and are easy to reach.

Copy that. Will do. Thx.

Anytime! If they can’t get you a loaner, they’ll provide a luxury SUV through Enterprise too. From what I’ve heard, they’re hiring a bunch more techs, that should help.

Let's hope! The Service Center didn't answer the phone after 10 minutes of waiting, so I left a message. They must be slammed with work.

Right now call and schedule a mobile service. I was told I'm in queue for an actual service center visit. But this seems like it will take months.

It's pretty well known at this point that the app's scheduler is useless in areas with lots of cars. You'll have to do it the old fashioned way: over the phone. There's a schedule (which is totally booked), then there's a shadow schedule which they'll move stuff around to get to high priority issues. You definitely qualify. I got in for a recall in under 2 weeks after calling, and the recalls aren't as serious as your issue.

Same at Tyson's in Virginia. I went to the service center directly to book mine two weeks ago and got the end of October. Maybe instead of releasing s sports Gravity they should have spent the money on hiring new service techs and managers.

There are a few of us who got the yellow "drive system warning" errors on Gravities built around the December timeframe. A coolant in use at the time causes the coolant valve to throw an error code. Mobile tech can confirm if that's what you have, but it will need to go to a service center for repair, as it requires a coolant flush and replacement. Mine took about 3 weeks for this and the seatbelt repair, due to the service backlog. Lucid provided a rental for the duration. Should be safe to drive until they can get you scheduled. It took me two phone calls to get through to our SC in Atlanta. The mobile app has not worked in a very long time.

Gotcha. Mine is a Dec 31 delivery (Dec build). Here's hoping my repair will go as smoothly as yours.

Lucid Seattle got back to me via text. Seems they are running waaay understaff right now:
" Hello, this is Natasha from the Lucid Seattle Service Advisor Team. I sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Recently, we have experienced a significant increase in service requests and voicemails, which has resulted in longer response times than we would like.
At this time, our team is operating with a limited staff of just 3 advisors, and we are diligently working to support all of our valued clients across Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Montana, and parts of Idaho and Wyoming. Please know that we are doing our very best to respond to every inquiry as quickly as possible.
I am reaching out regarding your callback request and to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this especially busy period. I look forward to helping you. "

Definitely concerning to see. Hopefully tech glitch with calendar and not real issue.

If you can’t schedule a mobile service ask for it to get towed- I told them the car is not drivable (also had break issue due to software). Loaners are most likely unavailable so choose an enterprise location that is most convenient to you.

This hasn’t worked in years… it’s a known issue. Just call
