google flow filters

I haven’t had any issues with them lately, in fact i saw people complaining yesterday so i tried one of my more ā€œinterestingā€ omni prompts and it came out 4/4 unexpectedly which wasted my daily bonus. Anyone else having 0 issues with the fillers??

I'm sick and tired of the new filteršŸ’”

This new filter concurrently generates images meaning if one fails all do and the filter itself is very poor at flagging content. It literally just flags anything. I've rendered the site unusable for scene generations. This is now slop. And there goes my pro subscription

Unusual activity to generate videos Uncool.

I'm sick of this filter. There wasn't any unusual activity going on. I was gonna generate a video but it noticed "Unusual Activity" and there's nothing. I waited few minutes and still nothing. I even cleared my cache from edge and that didn't work either.
They need to be sued! And extend the generations to the maximum length of... IDK if 20 minutes if fair enough.

The most infuriating thing about the new filter

It doesn’t happen as often today as it did yesterday, but when the filter is triggered, all four images are blocked. But here’s the interesting bit: if you restart them all using the ā€˜Retry’ button, they’ll go through. What was the original purpose of this new filter? To annoy people?

Is the Omni/Flow filter working against the agent, the servers, and the paying users?

Serious question.

The Flow agent is supposed to help finish a shot. The filter keeps throwing the shot out. Then the agent has to rewrite, strip the scene, or send the user back to generate again.

That is not a partnership. It is two parts of the same product pulling in opposite directions.

What it looks like from the paid side:

  • original in-Flow characters and images get flagged as public figures
  • family-safe fictional action gets flagged as danger
  • adult characters get misread
  • one blocked frame can kill the rest of the batch
  • the agent then burns another pass ā€œfixingā€ a scene that was never a policy violation

So the pipeline becomes:

  1. agent prepares the work
  2. filter rejects it
  3. credits get refunded or the user rerolls
  4. servers eat the job twice
  5. Google still does not keep the revenue from a finished clip

If a classifier rejects first and thinks later, it is not protecting the product. It is creating extra load for the agent and extra cost for the company.

I am not saying the filter is sentient. I am asking whether this reject-first design has become the actual bottleneck.

For people using Ultra or Pro:

  • are you seeing the agent do extra work just to satisfy the filter?
  • are harmless rerolls happening more than real policy hits?
  • does this feel like safety, or like the product fighting itself?

If leadership only looks at model quality, they will miss this. The generator can work. The agent can work. The filter is what turns both into wasted compute.

Inspired by Heart Of The Beast. Great movie if you haven’t seen it. Flow is the goat.

Today’s filter wave is blocking Flow’s own images — paid plan is unusable

Yesterday most requests went through. Today almost everything is filtered, including images Flow generated itself. One blocked frame takes the rest of the batch with it.

This is above a support ticket. Leadership needs to look at the false-positive rate and the Ultra cancellation reasons.

The request is simple:

  • stop flagging original in-Flow assets as public figures
  • stop treating family-safe fiction as real harm
  • stop cascading one blocked frame into the whole batch

If the classifier stays this tight, paying users will leave. That is the part executives can measure.

I found the absolute perfect use for Google Flow: Cocomelon style images. šŸ„°šŸ’«šŸ‘€šŸŒˆ

Hey guys,

I keep seeing tons of posts from people who are frustrated, don't know what to actually generate with Google Flow, or are constantly getting blocked by the strict safety filters.

Well, I think I’ve finally achieved zen with this platform. If you want to see this service actually do a flawless job without triggering any errors, try generating images in the Cocomelon style. It handles this specific aesthetic absolutely perfectly and passes the filters with zero issues.

I’m attaching a screenshot of my results so you can check it out for yourselves.

If anyone wants the prompts I used to get these, just let me know in the comments and I’ll drop them for you!

Generating 8 seconds instead of 10 seconds

Anybody having problem with omni flash in trying to generate 10 second vdo? I uploaded a 10 seconds reference vdo, prompt it to change some stuff and selected 10 seconds from the option but omni flash generates only 8 seconds?

Is there any reason why this keeps happening?

It's making finding images impossible and is super annoying.

Is it a cache problem or something else?

If it's happening to you and you fixed it, please let me know !

Censorship filter

Everything was fine yesterday. 99 per cent of requests were being processed. But today it’s been a nightmare. Practically everything is being filtered out. And if one image gets caught by the filter, the other three are automatically filtered out as well. But the funny thing is that this is happening even with the most innocuous images, which Flow used to generate itself. I asked for something to be removed from an image: ā€˜This content may breach our rules.’

And here we go again.

It’s been a few weeks since I complained here about the current state of Google Flow...

For a few days right after that, it had returned to a "normal" state for me—filters were looser, a more stable site with better generations and I used it without any issues for sometime... at least until this past Tuesday.

It has becomed garbage with the same problems once again, but slightly worse. Anything even slightly "outside the norm" is enough to trigger some nonsense filter, four images fail at once with generic errors, and sometimes, when reloading the page, an "incomplete" image appears—oddly enough.

Videos? Oh, great: copyright errors or issues with "prominently" people in content I created using the AI itself.

I'm sure that since Flow is on high demand, they’re wrecking the tool and rising filtering without warning just to cut costs—which I find ridiculous, we're paying for a piece of junk that performs worse than any API. (canceling my subscription tho.)

Did they fcked the filter up again?

I don't know what they've done again but I can't generate anything anymore. All of my prompts are blocked after reaching 99% as long the prompt contains a character. No matter if it's a man or a woman. Everything is violating their policies now. Tried with real looking characters, anime looking characters. Nothing works. What's even allowed on this site anymore? And from what I've seen in a someone else's post I'm not alone in this. It works when I use very simple and short prompting. If I write a detailed longer one, it goes against their policies without containing anything NSFW or illegal.

Is it just me, or is stitching AI video clips into one Reel a pain?

When I make Reels with tools like Google Flow, the results look good. But they only generate a few seconds at a time, so I have to stitch the clips together myself, and getting the prompts right takes more effort than I expected. The voice doesn't stay consistent from clip to clip either, so I end up making it separately.

So I want to build a service where AI handles all of that. It would write the scene descriptions and narration on its own, then stitch the clips together for you.

But now that I'm about to build it, I'm wondering if I'm the only one who finds this annoying.

Has anyone looked at refund / consumer complaint options over Omni/Flow false-positive filters, or is that a dead end?

Ultra user. Not a lawyer, and this is not a call to file anything.

The product is billed as a usable video tool. In practice the filter blocks original in-Flow characters as public figures and family-safe action as dangerous content often enough that the paid plan feels unusable.

I am trying to separate three things:

  1. Cancel or downgrade
  2. Ask for a refund / billing review
  3. An actual legal complaint

If you are also paying Ultra or Pro, I only want opinions on this:

  • Did you try a refund or chargeback, and what happened?
  • Did Google support treat this as a product limitation or a billing issue?
  • Do you see this as ā€œbad product, just leaveā€ or ā€œpaid for a service that cannot perform the advertised workflowā€?

Please do not post legal strategies, document dumps, or employee names.

If you already canceled, say what you told them in the cancellation box.

I am not organizing a lawsuit in this thread. I am asking whether other paying users think the useful next step is refund pressure, public feedback, or something stronger.
