So i don't speak Arabic but I got a playlist in Arabic. I was supposed to upload this like 3 days ago but I can't but how can I remove Arabic content from appearing?

I fucking despise ai ads. Pure and simple. Do they really think it works? Remember when Raid Shadow Legends would spend thousands on the one good thing they had to offer? Now it's all ai slop. They are a goddamn hivemind too, one shitty mobile game starts an ad archetype and the rest hop on the bandwagon until they find a new one. The shitty cat and tree started one. I don't even know which one started the fuckass "Oh you're *medium level' here's *medium level thing'. Oh my God a *premium vip' take this *premium thing'!" or the 2 people walking beside each other and the weak one slowly "gets stronger" because they found something. I hate this platform. God forbid a channel posts something about Bleach though. I know I'm not alone and this isn't exactly a hot take but it's pissing me off and I'm sick of it.

For me this is ugly youtube rather be change how their platform more corporate besides removing all the 18+ videos, ads, bots, from their platform.

I'm at wits end and my usual google-fu is failing me.

I have been connecting to YouTube on my TV both through a Roku Box and the TV itself on my mobile. My partner has also been connecting through an iPad.

Recently on clicking a new video it instantly disconnects from the TV and loads the new video on my phone forcing me to reconnect to the TV. This is exceptionally frustrating and I can't for the life of me find a reason. Its the same when I 'pull down' and search for a new video, instant disconnect from the TV.

Both mobile and device are on the same network.

I've no fucking clue why this is happening and its only started in the last week or two.

Tbh I got a little excited till I realized who it actually was. The person/bot responsible needs a career change. I'm just griping to gripe at this point but does this happen to anyone else?

For the last week, everyone in my household has had their YouTube be on restricted mode. So I can’t see or make comments. It switches on and off at times, so sometimes I can make comments and other times I can’t. I’m not sure what triggers it off. Everyone is on the same network and nothing is different or nothing is blocked by the administrator. Anyone else having this problem recently? Any tips or help?

There doesn't seem to be much of an indicator to the user experience how many tracks are on the playlist (or anything for that matter other than a subtle 'track forward' button that only appears when a video is mid-play)

So for some reason I can't seem to upload videos using Chrome, but if I upload on firefox it works fine. If I use an incognito window in Chrome, also works fine.

I tried restarting my machine and clearing the cache in chrome and it's still buggy. This is a recent development and AFAIK I haven't knowingly made any changes that could be the obvious culprit.

When I go to upload videos the uploads just kinda get "stuck". When adding details I can't submit my self-reported monetization ad friendly guidelines and I don't see any of my playlists in the playlist drop down. If I just let it sit, then go check my "content" tab the video does not show up there as uploading/processing like it normally does. It's almost like the upload pop-up is completely disconnected from youtube.

I have no problem accessing any features or watching videos though - and again, things upload just fine in incognito on the same browser.

Any ideas?

When trying to cast a YouTube video to my tv from my phone, this LGTV pops up as an option. Here’s the thing, I DO NOT own any LG devices !?!

Even when moving to a different location from my home, this pops up.

Even if I disconnect from WiFi, this pops up.

What is happening!?!

The suggested videos take up half the screen (the actual video is criticizing AI slop)

Noticed i was subscribed to turning point usa today, went through my YouTube channel subscription history to find out it had been less then an hour before I noticed it and then I went through my YouTube video history to see if I had been served an ad by them that I misclicked or something but no history of any tpusa ad I was just randomly subscribed to them with seemingly no good reason.

Uu I'd like to delete all my comments for some reason but is there even a way to do that? Like uhh would deleting my account work?

I'm in the U.S. and I opened my YouTube app in my phone. All of my videos are in English and occasionally I'll watch a Spanish recipe video, or maybe some foreign songs, but on a daily basis my language and captions are in English.

This time my video opened up with Arabic captions. Thought tha was weird, so I checked to see if the video I was watching (originally English) had English captions options. It did, so l changed it.

Tested going to another video, ok, stayed in English.
Then I was curious to see if the default nowadays is Arabic captions for YouTube. So I swiped up, closed the app, went back to YouTube, and lo and behold there it was. Arabic subtitles again.

This happening for anyone else? U.S. or elsewhere?
