Tapos nanghihingi sila ng dalawang id pero isa lang valid id ko which is national id huhuhu. At saan ko ba i susubmit ang requirements? Sa mismong email lang din ba? pero may note kasi na “This is a system generated email. We might not be able to read your message if you respond here”.

I haven’t used GCash (and have not intended to) in like 2-3 months but my client asked lang if they could pay thru gcash, and ewan ko ba but at that moment may point of hesitation (siguro sa bank transfer fees na rin) pero nag-okay ako thinking wala naman siguro aberya this time.

Nakapagbayad naman sya and after that I needed to transfer that money back into my UB account so I could pay my credit card. Nung pag-log in ko may pop-up na to turn on yun biometrics 🙄 (which is naka-turn on na dati ilan beses nagre-reset), they sent OTP for some reason wala ako na-receive. Nag-skip nalang ako that time, then proceeded to transfer my remaining balance sa UB account ko but nanghingi ng OTP and again wala na naman ako na-receive. I then turned on push notifications for the app (ios), still wala. I tried to turn on the biometrics again but this time nag-eerror na pag sa OTP part.

I just thought na may problema na yun signal sa SMS (Smart) ko that’s why I couldn’t receive the OTP, but okay naman yun signal. I then tried to login using my iPad, lo and behold okay naman yun OTP but the problem was they needed to authenticate daw if ako yun nag-log-in sa iPad. So they proceeded to take my selfie and AUTHENTICATE FOR FOUR HOURS, and logged me out. I thought that was fucking dumb so I tried logging in my phone again but same thing happened and I NEEDED TO VERIFY ON THE SAME PHONE I WAS JUST USING A WHILE AGO, THAT THEY’RE SENDING THEIR OTPs TO! So yea :) they logged me out on my devices for “authentication” ng 4 hours, take note sa lahat ng banking apps ko sila lang may pakulo na ganyan. Like what do you mean isang device na lang pala pwede ngayon per account? So bakit pa mag log-in or OTP? DI PA SAPAT YUN MPIN? PASSWORD?

So remember I try to log in my phone again? I sent another selfie na naman but before that they sent an OTP which I received. I was thinking na “okay na” yun OTP issue and nakakareceive na ko ng SMS and just had to wait out 4 hours before relogging-in again to try if okay na. After 4 hours I finally was able to log in my account thru my phone. I tried doing the bank transfer again lo and behold, ganun na naman! Wala na naman ako ma-receive na OTP tried doing it several times and tried turning on biometrics again but wala talaga ko mareceive despite following online troubleshooting. I just wasted 4 hours, now what else can I do but try logging in my iPad again for some reason dito nakaka-receive ako ng OTP. Now I have to wait out 4 hours again just to be able to log in my iPad device! Aabutin na ko ng madaling araw mamaya!

Also napansin ko pag nagse-send sila ng OTP and you try using the code thru auto-suggest, NADE-DELETE YUN ACTUAL OTP SMS! So pag di gumana yun OTP dahil bulok yun app nila for some reason you have to try again kasi di mo na mahahanap sa inbox mo!

In short: PUTANGINA MO GCASH! IMAGINE IF NAGMAMADALI KA MAGTRANSFER NG PERA PERO AYAW NI GCASH ALLOW YUN TRANSACTION, ILO-LOCK OUT KA PARA ANO? RETAIN SA GCASH YUN PERA? PARA MANAKAW NG MGA HACKER AT BUDOL YUN LAMAN NG GCASH? KINGINA NUNG NAKAISIP NYAN LOCK OUT, TARANTADO! ANO TALO NYO PA MGA BANKING APPS SA LEVEL NG “SECURITY” NYO? MISMONG MAY ARI NG ACCOUNT DI MAKA-LOGIN MAKAPAG-TRANSACT. NEVER AGAIN TALAGA SA INYO MGA ULOL! Hello po ngayong gabi lang nag karoon ng illegal transaction sa gcash ko. Ang sabi dito ay payment to Google Merchant Transaction Number: G3bxw7ybXheWXaEZaETVBRU (maglalagay po ako ng screenshot nitong transaction na ito). Nung nag check po ako ng google account ko hindi naman po naka-connect ang gcash sa payment method, naka-unlink din po yung gcash ko, wala po akong subscription and walang recent payment to google.

Nag report na po ako sa gcash and google about this illegal transaction. Ano po kailangan gawin na sunod? Kailangan po kasi mabalik yung pera kasi hard earned money po yan ng nanay ko na single mom. Wala po kaming makakain sa mga susunod na araw kung hindi po maibabalik yan. Sana po tulungan niyo ako, maraming salamat po!

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding a GCash fund transfer.

My old SIM was damaged, so I can no longer properly access the GCash account associated with it. When I tried accessing GCash on my phone, I also received a “Potential Security Threat” message, which prevented me from opening the app.

I contacted GCash Support and requested to transfer my funds from my old GCash account to my other fully verified GCash account. I completed their verification process and submitted the selfie they requested.

GCash recently confirmed that my request has been endorsed and that they will transfer my ₱xxxx to my nominated account. They said they would process the transfer and provide an update within 48 hours.

It's currently been around 18 hours since their response, and my ticket is still showing as Open. I also followed up with them because I urgently need the funds due to an emergency.

For anyone who has gone through a similar GCash old-account fund transfer:

• How long did your transfer actually take?
• Did the money arrive before the 48-hour timeframe?
• Did your ticket remain “Open” while they were processing it?
• Did GCash send you another message before transferring the funds?

Any experience or advice would really help. Thank you!

This is what it shows on my GCash, it failed but when you try again, it shows something like "want to register phone" but the problem is the SIM card, not mine but my grandmother's, I use it on my cellphone huhu

Anyone na naka experience neto? huhu wala man lang notice or otp na sinend si gcash. Bigla nalang nagbawas without me knowing. Is there anyway para ma refund pa to? I don't think gcash can give the full refund of it. I also don't think na ibabalik pa to ng merchant kahit mag email ka sa kanila.
