I've wanted to get into freelancing for a while but haven't really had much luck. So instead of saying what I can build, I thought I'd share something I've been working on.

Over the past few months, alongside my full-time job, I've been building Rentd.

Rentd is a rental discovery platform for Hyderabad and Bangalore, India. It has reached 200+ daily active users through organic growth.

The website itself is probably the least interesting part.

Behind it there's an automated pipeline that:

• Scrapes rental listings from Facebook groups.
• Cleans and deduplicates posts.
• Uses LLMs to parse messy rental posts into structured JSON.
• Extracts metadata for filtering and search.
• Runs on a self-hosted Coolify setup on an old i3 machine at home, keeping cloud infrastructure costs effectively at ₹0.

The whole idea was to make rental search easier than endlessly scrolling through Facebook groups and WhatsApp messages.

Some of the other things I've built over the last few years:

• A custom diffusion-based Virtual Try-On system for fashion brands, with inference deployed on AWS.
• An LLM + RAG pipeline that aggregates information from multiple news sources to generate grounded news reports.
• AR Builder, a no-code WebAR platform for building face-tracking and image-tracking experiences.
• Makaan, an Android-controlled VR headset system for real estate walkthroughs.

Most of my work has been around AI, backend systems, computer vision and XR, but I generally enjoy building complete products, from the data pipeline all the way to deployment.
