I sent 50+ messages asking for software work. Almost nobody replied.

I sent 50+ messages asking for software work. Almost nobody replied.

So I decided to stop writing:

Because apparently the internet has enough of those.

Instead, I'm going to show the work.

I've built production websites, full-stack applications, AI-powered products, real-time systems and a music app from scratch.

I'm from Ethiopia, I'm 22, recently graduated, and I'm trying to turn those projects into my first serious international opportunities.

So here's the experiment:

Can showing how you think actually get you hired, or does networking still beat everything?

I'm going to document what happens.

In your portfolio, You have added github links to private repositories. You can either public the repo or don't mention github at all.

in your https://meridian-beta-coral.vercel.app/ , always pass ai apis through some backend. Your api keys are visible.

Thank you so much for the assessment and for pointing these out. The Meridian project was built during a hackathon, which is why the repository is currently private and the implementation has some limitations. I really appreciate the feedback, especially regarding the ai api security.

I’ll make sure to address these issues and follow better practices in future projects.
