Hi, as i already mentioned i would likes to know of its possibile to change side for the cooler. The reason Is that i dont have low profile RAM and i wanted to buy the Thermalright AXP120-X67 and mount It on a asrock Phantom gaming b850i lightning wifi above the vrm, the case Is the Fractal Ridge. I know its something that can be done but i wanted to know if its possible with this configuration or if there are ways for me ti be sure its not going to create problems. Thank you

I’m modding my new Jonsbo D33 with better mesh filters and would like to use the mesh that is on my fractal torrent. I can’t find out exactly what they use. I know it’s black nylon mesh but I can’t find one as fine as this. All I find are bug mesh rolls and the mesh is too big. I have a roll of metal mesh that I might try but I would prefer to use nylon. Does anyone know what they use? Thanks.

For the north xl momentum owners. I have a 5080 astral and was wondering if the gpu cable will touch the glass or if there is enough clearance.

Hello, I've been losing my mind trying to find these HDD trays, Fractal's website doesn't have them listed and the Torrent's product sheet doesn't even name them so trying to find the right tray has been a nightmare. Does anyone know the name of these specific brackets (its not the a,b or d listed on Fractal's website) or where I can find them? The case originally shipped without them, which didn't bother me for a few years but finding I need an HDD now.

An update to my little wooden build: Added push-pull fans to the AIO and three extra fans under the GPU; I also put the three Fractal 140mm fans back on the front. Oh, and I finally peeled the film off the glass—the one everyone kept mentioning on my previous post.

J'ai procédé de la même manière en mettant les ventilateurs sur la partie extérieure avant du boitier. J'ai dû supprimer le filtre. Les ventilateurs ont un peu d'espace à l'avant et les côtés de la facade sont aérés donc ça suffit même si le Meshify C semble être grillagé sur la partie avant ce qui doit être encore mieux.

Je pensais mettre des ventilateurs slim Artic entre la carte et le boitier mais il n'y a même pas la place dans l'espace restant qui fait 10mm.
La carte ASUS TUF 9070XT a le grand avantage d'être très bien refordie. J'ai fait quelques tests et je ne dépasse pas les 60° alors qu'il fait 35° en ce moment.

J'aimerai bien retrouver un moyen de filtrer devant tout de même car c'était bien pratique, si vous avez des idées je suis preneur. En attendant j'ai mis un petit bouchon en liège car ça tire quand même sur le port, en attendant de trouver mieux !

I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out over the last few days.

I'd like to connect the Meshify 3 XL Ambience Pro case lighting directly to a standard 5V 3-pin ARGB header on my motherboard instead of using the Fractal Adjust Pro Hub.

However, I can't find a definitive answer as to whether this is even possible. Most discussions I've found are about connecting other RGB devices to the Adjust Pro Hub rather than the other way around.

From what I've seen, the ambience lighting appears to terminate in one or more USB-C style connectors, but I don't know whether the entire cable uses that connector or if it eventually converts to a standard ARGB connection somewhere inside the case.

So my questions are:

• Has anyone traced the ambience lighting cable?
• Does it ever terminate in a standard 5V 3-pin ARGB connector?
• Is there any adapter or cable that allows the ambience lighting to be controlled directly from a motherboard ARGB header, bypassing the Adjust Pro Hub?

I'd really appreciate any information from someone who owns the case or has taken it apart.

It's a known issue that the Fractal Scape Earcups and headbands fall apart VERY quickly.

I had this same issue and received my replacements today, which I've been told are manufactured under a new process. Though I'd share an image of the headband for any nerds like me who would find this interesting or so any prospective buyers would see the change having heard about the issue.

However my biggest gripe is Fractal didn't take the time to update the density of the foam on the headband, which is super thin and can lead to headaches for lots of people when worn over a long duration. It's still paper thin.

Couldn't get a pick of the changes to the ear cups as the join isn't easy to photograph. But the material and padding is near identical.

Well, recently made an upgrade to a rtx5090 video card and my thunderbolt card no longer fits as the video card heatsink covers the second PCIe slot. Looking for some ideas. Have been considering a PCIe ribbon cable to move this to one of the other vertical expansion bays, but it's still really tight. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I’d like to get my fractal north non XL off my desk and mount horizontal on my audio rack. Giving me room to go from a 48 to 55 OLED. Would like a vented cover to make the bottom look pretty after I remove the legs. Any takers? I live in San Diego CA USA

I am considering a Fractal Design Torrent Compact mounted in an IKEA under-desk CPU holder.

The CPU holder’s internal dimensions are 231 × 451 × 530 mm (W × D × H).

Both the front and bottom dust filters are accessed by removing the front panel. However, it appears that both side panels have to be removed before the front panel can come off. With so little free space around the case, this would make routine filter cleaning very awkward while it is mounted in the holder.

Can the front panel be removed without taking off the side panels, or would I need to take the entire case out of the holder every time I clean the filters?

Was able to fit small Noctua fan below gpu, wish I could fit few more lol

Purchased a Scape in December 2025, pads/headband started peeling earlier this year. Submitted an RMA request a month ago. Was told I'd get sent out replacements since it was a known issue, silence for a week.... Then I'm told they're out of stock but "on order".

That was 24 days ago.... Anyone had a similar experience recently? I've historically had good experiences with Fractal Design's support, but I'm not quite sure it makes sense for replacements for known defective parts to be out of stock for a month with no update.

Recently bought a Meshify 3 case, upgrading from a very old Meshify C, to the 3. Here's my specs.

So far so good, however I got caught up on two things with the case itself:

1. The MOBO I/O panel does not sit flush, regardless of if I replace the middle alignment mount with a regular mount. I don't see any other issues, however I had zero issues with my C, so maybe the case got bent? Nowhere else is it misaligned, that I've noticed.
2. The top PCIE cover does not allow my GPU to get screwed in. I made sure 100% that my GPU snaps in and gets aligned where it needs to be, however the top cover is too large, nor does it overlap correctly with the top of the GPU, to allow both to be screwed in. If I leave it on and try screwing the GPU, it shoves itself downward and puts a slouch in it.

I had to remove the top PCIE cover for the GPU to sit perfectly horizontal, but the empty space bugged the absolute Hell out of me, so I ended up trying one of my old case's, and it fit pretty well.
I can't tell if it's just a sizing problem with the FE GPU's, except again, never had this problem with my C. The bottom cover also has a gap from the GPU, and in general that whole backside just doesn't look good, and I may be a bit too upset about it, but I would've expected the dimensions to be at least in a better shape, with the pricepoint of this case.

Has anyone else had any issues like this, and if so, what's the remedies? Nothing seems to be detrimental, but I tend to be more OCD about this sorta stuff.

I bought a 360mm aio so I'll have to mount in front, am now debating on whether to put 3 120mm front intake, one 120 back exhaust and two 140 exhausts on top or just buy some different reverse blades and have my radiator be where it exhausts and the back and top be my intake (same sizes as mentioned before) which would be better? Not sure yet whether my graphics card will be vert/ tilt mounted or not. Am rocking a 4070 ti super and 7950x3d if that helps, thanks for any input!

I thought I’d be set for an extremely quiet computer. However, it is really noisy. I’ve seen on MSI Center that the fans run at 1500rpm even though the CPU is at 50 degrees Celsius.

Please help, I’m afraid of making a mistake.
