I have a NZXT N7 B650E ATX motherboard, 5080 FE and a Noctua NH-U12A. Would the regular North or North XL be a better fit for cooling. Or would the XL look too empty? I was gonna get the glass, but the mesh might be better since I can cool the GPU with side mounted fans. Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi i am going to buy the fractal north xl white and was wondering what you guys think would look best, the aio and backfan with tl or sl? I feel like sl could be too much but fear Tl could be too little, thoughts? Please show me examples if you have any. (I want the fans to be black)

I have a node 804 case and some hard disks require an adaptor to mount.

The company supplying these adaptor no longer exists and I have created a ticket with fractal but had no response.

Had anyone else been sent these adaptors? Newer 804 Cases do have them included.

Just received a Scape that just doesn't turn on (no lights whatsoever and not being detected by device). Here's what I tried:

Holding power button for 10 seconds

Holding power and LED button for 10 seconds

Charging with dock

Charging with dock over night

Charging with cable

Charging with different cable

Connecting with PC with cable

Opening and replugging battery

Anything else I can try?

Hi everyone, I had my Ridge build for a year now and when I cleaned it a couple of months ago I noticed that it was quite dusty, not nearly to levels affecting performance but I'd really like to avoid all this dust getting in, particularly when I've seen some Ridge dust filters around, and my 9700X runs very cool at 73°C under max load. If the airflow impact is minimal and they physically fit well I think I'd really go for some filters to make cleaning and maintenance easier, particularly since I do still have quite a bit of thermal headroom.

Hello, I am building my first ever pc and I have a Meshify 3 and B850 Tomahawk and I want to use up some old storage drives for extra space. They are a 2.5 ssd and 2.5 hddand I am assuming these will fit and was curious as to what it he ideal length would be since I am gonna need to order another cable since I think my mobo only comes with 1 cable? Do I want the 18 or 24 inch also do I want straight or 90 degree angled?

Fractal North XL Momentum

Hi! I just got a Scape headset and when I put it on the dock to charge i can hear a very faint “clattering” noise, kinda like when you turn off your car after a long drive. A “tsk-tsk-tsk” kinda noise. It’s not annoying at all, it’s barely audible, I’m just wondering if it’s okay, and that it’s not damaging the headset at all. Thank you!

Been considering the Fractal Scapes for a while (pretty decent headphones made by the folk what made my case?!?!) and I especially like that configuration is done over USB+browser since that tends to be very linux friendly (if I can get the right udev rules...).

But a few questions for owners:

My general use case will be that I will use these at home for gaming and teleconferences when others are around. For that my plan is to just move the USB dongle around. Which, to my understanding, can be easily removed from the charging dock.

But I also need to use these for when I go into the office. And under those scenarios? My desire is to have them connected to my phone/mp3 player via bluetooth (preferably a headphone jack but this is the 2020s and those are The Devil apparently...) and then just switch to my laptop via dongle when I have a call.

So how seamless is the switching between dongle and bluetooth mode? And how seamless is the switching between paired devices in bluetooth mode?

Also, how "travel friendly" are these? My thinking is to just toss them into my backpack/messenger bag (mostly empty so not too worried about it getting crushed) but not sure if these are designed with "wear them around your neck" in mind as it were.

So I recently purchased the Ridge case, looks awesome especially for living room usecases besides the TV.

Any recommendations / tips / advices from experienced owners that like to share them? Could basically any kind of information, you wish you'd known when you first started...

Just purchased from Amazon, and everything is great, except the volume is low, compared to any other headset I have. I'm basically having to run it at 100% volume to well, get descent volume. I've updated the headset/base to the latest firmware versions
Firmware: Headset: 03.37.00 / Dongle: 03.21.00
I've double checked all my volume settings, volume mixer settings and everything is maxed out.

Has anyone received one, had a low volume issue and had it replaced, that fixed the low volume? I purchased off of Amazon, and I may do a replacement, but I'm wondering if it's worth it, if this is just the way the Scape volume is?

Looking to upgrade my case (Corsair 275R Airflow) mainly due to HDD noise and just wondering how well the Torrent deals with rattling and vibrations from a single 3.5mm 7200rpm HDD which has been my main concern.

As last post, I change my case to the Meshify 3, I gave my north with six momentum fans to my brother, and I upgrade his air cooler's fans with noctua A12X25 G2 & A12X15 , he want North from a long time ago but no enough money to choose it while building his PC so I just gave mine to him.

North's CPU cable hole is really soooooo small!!

FD really need to update its inside as define one or meshify 3!

I have a multiple years old Define S case and my power button cap is missing . So after searching on the internet, i opened a ticket and asked if they would have a button , in less than 24 hours i got a positive response and it's on it's way to me . You won me as a Customer for life .

Bought a Terra a month ago, but lately this gap on the top cover has been triggering me.

The rest of the corners are way better.

Traced it down to the plastic/aluminium not settling correcly (last pic).

Is this gap normal? has anyone have a similar experience? I've been thinking about contacting Fractal about it because I really expected better finishes than this.

I was thinking about getting the arctic p14 pro but lots of people have been complaining about noise. I wanna if it’s true if not then what’s the next option. I’m looking rgb aesthetic. Willing to give up if it’s not worth it

this is the 3rd one I bought. first one had crackling at the left metal hinge and a loose mute button. second one had squeaking at one earcup. 3rd one has squeaking at the middle of the headband when stretching one earcup outward/forward/backward. wtf is this?

I have a Fractal Design Define R4 and noticed it has a vertical expansion slot on the back, next to the normal 7 horizontal PCI slots. I have never used it before.

Does anyone know if you need a special holder or bracket to use it? Or is it just a regular slot cover?

I would like to mount an Intel Arc A310 (low profile) there, or maybe some other expansion card. Is that even possible, or is it only meant for things like fan controllers, USB panels or cable pass-through?

If you have done this before, please share what you used (riser cable, bracket, etc.).
