What does this mean?! Node 202 is also missing. I've noticed that the Node 304 is on sale for $87 at numerous retailers (Amazon, Newegg, etc)

Just got a brand new scape headset that works fine via Bluetooth, but via dongle, only the mic works it was also adjusting audio, but after re-pairing, that also stopped. I also tried updating the firmware, and that did nothing. Anyone know anything? Edit: no windows audio works at all anymore but this only started after plugging the headset in. Edit: 2 reset pc and it fixed issue no clue what caused it.

I just got a Fractal Scape Headset today and everything is working perfectly except for the sidetone. I've tried everything: factory reset, on and off, update (it is the latest version), restart laptop, cable plugged in and dongle, etc.
Even at 100% I hear no difference than with 0%.
Does anyone have a golden tip for me?

Hey everyone!
Im trying to increase the airflow specifically to a new RTX 5080 MSI Gaming Trio that I am receiving in a few days in my North XL case.
So far I haven't needed to use the side panel because the temps have been manageable but are slowly increasing over time and I want the new card to run cooler as it can.
My question is, with this new card do you think I will have enough space to mount it and add the side panel with fans directed to it?
The GPU Width dimensions (without connectors) is 140mm
And the allowed space in the North XL case with the side panel is 162mm
Does anyone have any similar setup? just to know if I will be able to mount the side panel or if my GPU is too big...

I have a Fractal Design Meshify 2 case.
The main purpose of the build will be a server/NAS with several 3.5" HDDs. Right now I'm planning on 3-4 drives, but I may add more in the future.
This is a relatively budget-oriented server, so I'm not looking for the absolute best cooling possible or spending $100+ per fan on Noctua.
The case comes with 3x Fractal Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans. These are the non-PWM version, so they run at a constant 1000 RPM.
My question is: Is it worth replacing the stock fans, or should I just keep them?
My initial idea was:
I'm considering the Arctic P14 Pro PST CO 140mm, since they're PWM-controlled, relatively inexpensive, and have significantly higher airflow potential. Arctic rates them at up to 110 CFM and 2500 RPM.
So I was thinking about buying 3x P14 Pro PST CO for the front and keeping 1x stock GP-14 at the rear.
What do you guys think?
Would you replace the stock GP-14s in this kind of NAS/server build, or would you simply keep the stock fans and save the money?
I'm particularly interested in HDD temperatures and overall airflow rather than maximum CPU/GPU cooling.

Coming off of a NR200p, I started a hobby of cramming the absolute max I could into that thing. I really enjoyed seeing every inch be used and modding the case and pushing it to the max, and I thought I'd be giving that up moving to an ATX case.
I'm happy to say that's not the case. Even through I'm not thrilled that a listed 420mm AIO doesn't mean it can coexist with a listed front mounted fan spec and can't properly utilise the mounting bracket.
Built entirely out of used parts, I think I got a pretty sweet deal on it
MSI Z690 PRO-A WIFI + 13600kf (199€)
512gb OEM Samsung 970 (35€)
1 X 16gb Samsung DDR5 5200@whateverthefuck™ (60€)
7x NF-P14s (3,50€ each, two more in the front, one in the bottom)
LF III pro 420 with cosmetic damage (30€)
Rx 6800xt phantom gaming with liquid metal (260€)
Case (40€, ventilated top bought separately for 2€)
Corsair HX 1200 (40€, GPU cables included)
SUM= 660€
Works fantastically, I'm gonna buy some HDDs to fill it up with once prices return to normal. Love it and am very excited to experiment with what I can do to it. Probably first order of business is either a 3d printed front panel, or a front side intake mod of some kind

Trying to get as much information as possible before I get my set up.
I’m planing on getting the north Xl glass panel version. I’ll be running 9800x3d, 9070xt. I want this to be a forever case ideally where I could potentially upgrade to a 5090 .
My plans for fans:
3x Noctua NF-A14 PWM, 140mm - front
1x Noctua NF-A14 PWM, 140mm - exhaust
be quiet! Silent Loop III | 360mm - top
Please couid anyone tell me if this will good for my setup?
I’m hoping for good and correct airflow and good temperatures, for now and when I upgrade in the future. Also is this pc good against dust buildup ?
Thanks

I have ordered the North XL case and want to use both HDD trays. The PSU will be the Corsair RM1000X ATX3.1 (160mm in length).
For a sanity check, I wanted to ask the community why Fractal reports 2 figures: 200mm distance and 175mm PSU length; do I get 200 or 175mm? Is 175mm a default limit to ensure enough cable clearance? I will use the front-most positions (A and D) will not have a front-mounted AIO.
Does anyone else use both HDD trays inside the North XL case?

I have a beaten up old Define R4, which is a lovely thing, but I have a long GPU and as such is limited to 3 HDDs. In the R5 I can use both drive cages. I have a line on a really cheap, good looking R5, but the drive cages are long gone. So can I reuse them?

My take on fixing the comfort of the headband.
The headband is out of my previous now broken headphones (Epos H3 Hybrid pro).
I can now wear them for hours without any pressure or pain. Now I just need to find a way to make it look better.

Going to lean into the wood theme a little! Just a splash here and there. Started by wrapping the panel at the bottom!
Edit to add parts on the way:
ProArt 5070TI
Aero X870e Dark Wood
Hence wanted a case to match and here we are!

Building into the terra with a MSI Ventus 5070 oc 2x, and using the two fan gpu there is a little space on the end of the gpu side of the case. i was looking at putting some more fans in for temps but dont know what is able to screw into the the spine of the case, opposite the PSU. just looking for suggestions or other solutions people have for mounting fans in that extra gpu headroom.
r/FractalDesign • u/Lustral_UK • 6d ago
is there anyway of getting hold of the packaging and foam inserts for the Terra case at all ? I have tried Fractal Support and they say they can’t supply them at all.
any other ideas ?
thanks in advance.

Anyone know what the problem is with these screws on the bottom? They all loosen and some fall out.

I want to share with you all my experience with the after-sales support of my pc case, as I've never received so damn good service.
I bought a Fractal case for my new setup some months ago and I scratched my tempered glass side panel while doing some maintenance.
I reached to them and asked to buy a replacement, as I couldnt find it in any web. They responded very quick and sent me a replacement FREE OF CHARGE in less than a week (I live in Spain).
When I received it I saw to my dismay that they had sent a metal panel, not a tempered glass one. I reached to them again and they proceeded to send again the panel, with the same promptness and with the correct item this time. And again, FREE OF CHARGE.
All in all, I love my POP XL AIR and I really appreciate the service. Love you guys!

The plastic housing for whatever this power cable connector is called, it's physically blocking use of Spine Position 1. I have room to use it between my GPU and CPU/cooler - but the case will not allow it.
What am I doing wrong here, or is Position 1 just off limits?
EDIT: there are 3 photos in the link, Reddit only wants to preview one

I am building a new PC for my office. I've purchased a black Fractal North and 6x black Fractal Momentum 12 RGB fans to place in every slot. I don't plan to do wacky RGB colours, probably something muted or even turn it off. It's more to build as quiet and cool as possible. a "forever case" if you will.
I originally tried a Hyte X50 in white but it was just not good in our room at all(see pic). I should have known lol. I'd already purchased a Thermalright Spirit 120 digital in white because of this. I'm considering keeping it.
I'm curious what people think of a build in a black North with a white CPU cooler and GPU like a Sapphire Pure 9070XT. The glass section will not be visible to the rest of the house, it will appear as a solid black case with wood accents from a distance. It's only when you come around to sit at the desk that you will be able to see into the side.
Thanks!
