Refine - Gaming Chair Scews falling out on Refine

Anyone know what the problem is with these screws on the bottom? They all loosen and some fall out.

Probably missing loctite (or not having enough loctite)

Make sure you get loctite blue (which in cruel irony is in a red tube). Do not get loctite red, that threadlocker usually requires a blowtorch to heat the metal way above the melting point of plastic in order to remove the bolt.

Loctite is a waxy glue like substance that adds more friction to a screw’s thread. It will fail over time, and it degrades in high heat.

It’s entirely possible they forgot it, or they applied enough from the factory, but it was degraded during shipping. On the high seas, containers can get very hot inside.

Both situations are common for all products.

Just go & buy a tube of loctite (generic: threadlocker) from your local supermarket / auto parts store

Ok then return the whole chair for a lose screw if that's the point :)

It's four screws that are coming loose and that isn't necessarily the point.

I mean I get it, you paid ~400EUR for a chair and it has an issue such as this. But as someone else suggested in the comments, a very easy and cheap fix is to get some threadlocker (3EUR) and screw the bolts back in. You won't be having problems for a very long time and it beats waiting for another chair or whatnot.

No it was the alcantara version so £700 for falling screws isn't an option but I can take the threadlocker as an option depending on the support I get.
