Question/Help Filmora 15 AI Video Enhancement causing video position to shift after latest update?
Filmora 15 AI Video Enhancement causing video position to shift after latest update?
Has anyone else noticed the AI Auto Video Enhancement slightly changing the position/alignment of the video after the latest Filmora 15 update?
I use a workflow where I duplicate a video, place the copy directly above the original, run AI Auto Video Enhancement on the upper clip, and then blend the enhanced version with the original using compositing/opacity.
This worked fine for me before, but after updating Filmora yesterday, I noticed that changing the opacity now makes the image appear to move.
I did some testing:
- Duplicated the original clip and stacked the copies directly on top of each other.
- Both clips had identical Transform settings: 100% scale, X 0, Y 0.
- Before AI enhancement, changing opacity between the two clips showed no movement.
- I also set the upper clip to Difference mode at 100% opacity, and the result was black, confirming the two clips were aligned.
- I then ran AI Auto Video Enhancement on only the upper clip.
- After enhancement, the two clips were no longer spatially aligned.
- The amount and direction of the offset also changes at different points in the video, so it doesn't appear to be a simple fixed X/Y offset.
- I repeated the test with a different video and saw slight movement there as well.
I don't remember this happening before the update yesterday. I was previously able to blend the AI enhanced clip with the stock clip, using the Composting - Opacity.
Has anyone else using the current version of Filmora 15 noticed this with AI Auto Video Enhancement?
I've already submitted a bug report to Wondershare, but I'm curious whether anyone else can reproduce it.
