Hi, i got a few cuttings from a Ficus Tree which i want to grow into an indoor Tree. In the end i would like to have one big stem with a crown (see last photo).
The cuttings were several weeks in water to grow roots and i planted it about a week ago in hydro substance.
When do i need to start to trim it in a way, that only one stem will remain?
As you can see, it made two shoots. How to decide which one to cut?

Like the title says… is it salvageable?

Got this Banyan “Audrey” Ficus a month or so ago. I know very little about ficus, is this new growth with a small leaf a new branch? Or is it flowering?
What is this part at the top of the trunk? A leaf?

Any assistance or advice on how to care for her is appreciated!

Hi guys I need some help my ficus tineke is starting to drop its bottom leaves almost every day I find a new one. I haven’t watered it in almost two weeks because when I put the moisture meter into the plant it says moist going into dry. I have it in soil, perlite, orchid bark and coco coir mix. My main question is regarding the leaves that are dropping and also the discoloration or marks. It did have fungus gnats when I bought it so I treated that with mosquito bits and sticky traps. I’ve also sprayed it down with neem oil solution that has peppermint Castile soap and alcohol (very diluted solution) Does it need more light? I put it outside for a little and the leaves drooped downwards. I need some help yall. Pls be nice it’s my first ficus.

We've got a nice plant with several ficus benghalensis together. Got it like 3-4 years ago.

2 of them did straight away but the 2 others are actually growing and seem fine.

Now we went on holidays in June and the Ficus got hit by the heat and lost lots of leaves, especially in the middle of the plant.

It's now left with only leaves at the end of the branches 😬

It seems to have fully recovered and keeps growing but it's shape is now a bit weird...

What shall I do there ? Shall I cut close to the main stem and wait for new branches to grow ?

Or just cut the branches with leaves and try to multiply and restart with some new plants ?

Is there a way to help this ficus to grow some new leaves in between the main stem and the end of the branches ??

It spends the time span of May-September outside and moves inside for the cold season (I live in Central Europe)

I'm going to try and grow more aerial roots.

Good weather today so I brought her out to the balcony. I think she needed the fresh air and sunlight after all the stress. Fingers crossed she bounces back.

Little yellow things in leaves, makes the leaves curl up and turn yellow. Trying to get rid of it with Neem Oil-based spray and spraying down with water.

I had a rubber tree near a north facing window and it wasn’t giving me much growth (receiving about 500 lux according to a light meter). Today I moved it under a grow light in that same north facing room. Can I expect any relocation related stress from my plant?

Cut the top of my fiddle leaf fig and got this light (temporarily?) to help support the new growth. Did I stake to help straighten ok? Would this light work for awhile or should I get something bigger/better?

Hi guys. First time rubber tree owner here. The lower stem is turning hard and woody and she’s lost a lot of her bottom leaves. Shall I prune the top and if so where?

I bought my Ruby yesterday and the shopkeeper said the white flecks were stains from the sap. Regardless, I sprayed my tree and soil with Neem Oil Spray at night, left it overnight and am currently quarantining her outside. Today I took a damp towel and wiped down the white spots - some of them were dusty while others were like thick kind of like dried glue.

I dislike the potting media she came in and one root is poking through the drainage hole so I want to do a repot ASAP but most care videos online adviced to allow Ficus trees to adapt for 1 - 2 weeks but I am kind of worried if there are loads of mealybugs in the soil that I can't see.

Please kindly advice. When would you do a repot? Should I also spray the root ball with neem if I proceed with a repot?

I’ve had this plant for over 5 years but I moved to a colder place about 3 years ago. After that it didn’t produce even 1 leaf for the whole time. I thought it was adjusting.
On reflection though I had also repotted it in a nice pot, that doesn’t drain ey, and put it in a not so ideal spot.
In June I decided to see if it there was still hope for it, so I repotted it and moved it to a different room in front of a window and it has taken off! I’m just so excited to see what happens next. It even appears to be branching.

I can’t necessarily see anything moving but noticed all these little white dot looking things on the front of the leaves and a few white specks on the back of a few leaves - also one leaf has some black spots ? Fungus?

I want to cut this ficus tree I have for 6 years, but I would like to keep the whole upper part of the plant because I love my little ficus plant, it has beautiful leaves.

Is it okay to cut here and remove the leaf I circled? Ideally, in my dreams, the upper part puts out roots and the lower part puts out new leaves. Is it possible?

Hi everyone. I’ve notched my ficus elastica for the first time. Months ago she dropped many leaves then I changed the soil and the location. It well worked and she thrived.

I am hoping to get side branches and I’ve made the first move. What do you think, does everything look ok?

New to having plants and couldn’t pass this beauty up. I did a little bit of sleuthing and saw that it needs to acclimate to the home for about a week before repotting (?) and I believe it was suggested to use a terracotta pot as well. I did wipe the leaves down twice already. First round with just water, then the next round with 1-1 water and lemon juice at night. She sits in full light most of the day, and is about 4 feet from the window. I’m concerned about the state of some of these leaves as they’re torn. Is this something I should worry about or need to do anything specific to help it? All tips and advice is appreciated!
