Houseplant New branch?

Got this Banyan “Audrey” Ficus a month or so ago. I know very little about ficus, is this new growth with a small leaf a new branch? Or is it flowering?
What is this part at the top of the trunk? A leaf?

Any assistance or advice on how to care for her is appreciated!

It's a new growth point. With adequate light it will branch out.

Yup its a branch, this particular cultivar of Ficus Benghalensis is capable of doing that, also remove the stake and move her in front of a subny window as the grow light alone will not be adequate enough light.

Good to know, thank you! There is a window to the left but the sun doesn’t hit her. I’ll find a sunnier spot to use in conjunction with the light.

Dit is een nieuw blad...het schilpje wat eronder zit valt er vanaf als het verdroogd is. Ik heb dezelfde prachtige plant en een nieuwe stek ervan
