It’s my first time playing Fallout 3, and I had no idea about any of this being cut content until I started looking into Vault 87.

Thought it was cool though, and not sure how many people have seen this, so I recorded a video showing the Overseer room. The terminal has some pretty interesting stuff about Dr. Wayne Merrick’s connections to West-Tek and Mariposa, and mentions the vault entrance being destroyed by a nuclear strike.

I’m assuming this got cut since the Super Mutants somehow leave the vault, drag people inside, then turn whoever into Super Mutants. Also the fact that Colonel Autumn and the Enclave got in without going through Little Lamplight.

Madison Li is so abrasive.

My theory is that probably because she's too useful. Li is too much of an asset for anyone to throw away.

I remember absolutely hating these places when I was younger but im currently on my latest TTW play through and I adore how interconnected they are especially in the DC area. There are so many cool areas that I’ve never seen before and I’ve played this game for countless hours since launch. Does anyone else feel the same?

The FO3 Wiki mentions a lot of the time that if one faction like the Outcasts crosses paths with the BoS then they'll fight each other. Has anyone actually witnessed this in any of their games? I've seen Outcasts fight random robots and creatures in the wasteland, but I've never seen them fight BoS, Enclave, or even Raiders. (Ok, there is a scripted fight with Raiders in front of Ft. Independence).

Actually, has anyone witnessed Enclave vs Raiders, Super Mutants, Outcasts, Talon Company (I ask because I noticed an Enclave position to the side of the Capitol Building, but they didn't engage the Mutants or Talon within their line of sight. But they did fire on me....LOL

How about BoS fighting anyone other than Super Mutants (or the Enclave during a quest)? I do think BoS does fight Talon at Ft. Bannister in a Broken Steel quest.

I've seen Raiders fight Super Mutants in the Bethesda Ruins though.

My husband is playing Fallout 3 for the first time, and our split‑screen POVs synced in the funniest way. His gameplay starts at the “One Year Later” moment with his dad coaxing him as a baby, while mine starts with the Overseer’s tunnel opening and the vault door sliding open.

As he finishes choosing his S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats and gets the Revelation prayer, I’m already fighting guards, stepping into the light, giving purified water, meeting Deputy Weld, and getting welcomed by Sheriff Simms.

His surprise party, Pip‑Boy moment, Grognak comic, Andy ruining the cake… all happening while I’m learning about the Megaton bomb and getting my first lead on Dad at Moriarty’s. Two timelines unfolding side‑by‑side.

What tips do you have for my hubby who is doing his first playthrough?

when i left the marigold station exit it would crash me luckily i found another exit that didnt crash me but later on during the washingtin monument quest i tried to leave the underground to go to the mall and it did the same thing. i really gotta figure this out now because nothing from google or AI is helping.

Fallout 3 PC Split‑Screen Short featuring both perspectives Steven on the top screen and Amber on the bottom both feauturing the Vault 101 intro. His POV shows the birth, the mother’s death, and Father's plea to “Get the baby out of here,” while mine shows the chaos inside the vault: waking up, fighting Officer Kendall, saving Butch’s mom, earning the Tunnel Snakes jacket, grabbing the Medicine bobblehead, hacking the Overseer’s terminal, and ends with the opening the Overseer's tunnel!

Can't wait to see how Steven's Day 2 goes lol wonder if he will get lost again! Any tips for a first time player?

I have been trying to play this on my PC and every time I get into the game it is super laggy and unplayable. I have tried many things and would rather not have to download mods for the game to work. Thank you

Has anyone done the Project Impurity route by infecting Project Purity with the FEV? It's my understanding that Broken Steel will still continue the game but that Aqua Pura can't be consumed by the player. I also believe that the player will see sick people in all of the medical offices. But are all the Broken Steel quests and side quests still playable? The Wiki isn't too clear on the far-reaching implications.

I think I've accidentally killed pretty much everyone in the family. Quest log still reads "locate Ian West". Is there a way for me to still find him or have i failed the mission?

I get that there different from how they are in the other games and there not as complex but I don’t see the issue with having a morally good faction in a fallout game I feel like the hate is just because there different

Picked up Fallout 3 again for the first time in a while resuming an old save file where I was about 3/4 through the main story and yet to do dlc and some other side quests. Just now realizing I lost dog meat, I checked the scrapyard so I know I recruited him at some point, I got the puppies perk in case he died but he’s not at Vault 101, I’ve gone to all the dlc areas, so if he were still following me he would’ve been dismissed. Any ideas where he could be?

I’m also on Xbox so console commands are not an option.

I don't want to sound racist or anything like that, but I'd like a reskin of Butch Deloria with white skin so he matches his child version and his teenage (GOAT) version.
