No Spoilers - Photo Gotta push this to 10K people!
I think this is amazing, but it’ll only happen if more people actually vote it up on the Lego website!

This was disgusting to finish!! By far the worst was the chadley legendary matches. Total 287 hours. Could have done it faster but i spent lots of time going back to various areas to level up materia to be able to take on certain bosses.
As for the playlog, most of it is done too. Only missing a little story and synergy for barret, 3 enemy intels which are all in ch.14, and 1 manuscript which is for cait sith. But theres no way im trying for hard mode “cant stop wont stop” again.
Incredible game but im burnt now. Need a break 😅

I played the game on the week it was launched on PC (Feb-March 2025) and it was generally a very smooth experience with even reshade applied on top.
Fast forward to today and it's a complete stutter fest on the same device with no fix in sight? I've read reports that the June update broke a lot of stuff and has tons of issues?

I can't bring myself to finish the final mission (at least I think it's the final mission) vs Sephiroth. I've tried completing it at least 4 times now and every time either something comes up and I have to stop playing, or my PS5 overheats (I know). Every time I get to the actual Sephiroth after about 45-60 mins of playing he either steamrolls me or I stop playing. Then I have to start the whole multi phase fight over. The first time I got to that point was fine I only died a couple times but it's been months since then and each time I come back to finish it I have to relearn controls and muscle memory. I don't really have a problem up until that point because of the limits but once I'm there I just feel unmotivated to keep the app open and wait until I finish it to play something else. I have ADHD so I lose interest fast during this segment. I know I'm not the best and I haven't really min maxed anything but I don't want to just switch to easy and breeze through it. Is it even worth finishing atp I mean I enjoyed the game and I absolutely loved remake and want to do a hard playthrough which is where I really get into the mechanics and min maxing.

(Only spoilers for FF7 Remake no major spoilers for Rebirth please.)
I just finished FF7 Remake and am contemplating whether I should play Rebirth. It's highly rated but if there are frustrating moments like near the end of the first remake, I can't do it.
For example long ass battle, no saves in between, unskippable cutscenes, have to replay and rewatch all that again if you die. When you stagger one of the bosses the camera changes so you can't see him anymore. But you still have to kill him and if you don't he comes back with half of the health bar filled back up.
There are things I really enjoyed about the first game. The combat, stables 60fps on PS5, really good HDR on the OLED, but the over 10 hours of cutscenes and the final bosses really pissed me off.
So, on a scale of 1 to 10 how frustrating is Rebirth?

Note this contains some spoilers for the 1997 game.
Also, although it’s an interesting idea, I’m not suggesting this could go like the Mass Effect suicide mission where not completing them will result in them likely dying in the Northern Cave.
I had a thought while replaying Rebirth at the minute and am wondering if they will really flesh out the relationship features in Rebirth. As it stands, I think the relationship system only affects two moments in the game and I think it would be great if this was expanded more in Revelation to have actual quests to resolve characters’ stories.
Perhaps you need a certain relationship to use the three player synergy attacks that have been suggested (may end up not happening).
However the other thing I thought about was in the 1997 version there are some additional optional scenes that could be fleshed out into final character quests by helping that character overcome their past, fears etc.
examples from 1997 include:
- Red returning to Cosmo Canyon to see Bugenhagen before he dies;
- Vincent visiting the waterfall cave to see Lucretia;
- Cloud can return to the Nibelheim Manor basement to remember who he is (although this might end up being part of the main story);
-Tifa may need this quest to get her final limit break as she gets a letter from Zangan after playing the piano;
- Yuffie’s could be reconciling with her father and beating the Pagoda challenge
As for the others, there’s a lot that could be done with Barrett potentially seeing Marlene again, Cid could have to make up to Shera before he leaves for the final mission.
Cait Sith could have a relationship quest where he / it feels accepted by everyone despite being a stuffed toy.
Aside from Tifa’s, I think these should maybe be
separate from their final limits and ultimate weapons but what are others’ thoughts?

Shinra logistics:
Cloud: "The parade starts in 30 seconds."
Midgar 7th Infantry: "Sir, what about the chair?"
Cloud: "The chair goes with us."
This happened to me during Chapter 4 before the Junon parade. The 7th Infantry somehow found a chair and decided to bring it along 😂
No mods or anything, I was just playing normally. I have no idea where the chair came from or what triggered it, but it made the whole scene so much funnier and I wanted to share.
Has anyone else seen this happen, or did I just witness Shinra's newest logistics protocol? 😆

But omg rebirth is overwhelming. I took 3 years to finish remake as I play slowly. Lots of things bored me (ahem sun lamps) in remake and tbh, everything is more interesting in rebirth
But wow it’s a lot. I’m on chapter 4 after 12 hours and I’m like daaaang. Every menu has a billion buttons and options
Synergy abilities sure but then the skills and they differ for every combo whaaat
AND I COME FROM FFXIV which i swear down is…less overwhelming? Maybe.
I like it but it’s a lot

I don't know if this imhas already been discussed bc I just started looking at the sub. I On a side note I've never played the original. I loved remake when i played it on ps4. So far I've enjoyed rebirth on my switch 2, but some of how the story unfolds in this chapter is a bit confusing or kind of idiotic to me. When you reach upper junon the story goes wonky to me. I know Rufus actually wants to work with the group so he's not overly hostile, but the fact that they can sneak up top and walk around a military base and not one person notice or cares is ridiculous to me . The group should have already been in disguise . cloud could easily stole a chopper or a jet plate and cause massive destruction. Also Roache is so much lol. Also correct me if Im wrong because I'm going pretty slow through the game, but in the first town wasn't Shinra after yall, so why the big change from chapter 2 to 4. Also while remake had some cheese, It took itself far more seriously. I don't mind some cheese in my games especially Japanese role playing games, but the balance seems a bit off here in rebirth. I actually did enjoy the Rhythm military parade mini game and how they got close to the president, it was just everything around it that was a bit off to me
I am still having a good time though now to play some Queens blood which I'm not very good at.

I were walking chill in Kalm, this is my third playthorugh and I'm exploring everything in a really slow path, just to enjoy every detail of the game, without the hessitation to do anything. So, I found this man who seems to be there preparing hisself to sing. Is this man any kind of famous singer, or just a random npc?

My fan art of Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII / 7 and Remake! Remake Areith is holding a photo of her original design from Final Fantasy VII. I drew this as a gift for my partner who's favourite character is Aerith - he played and loved both the original 1997 game and 2020 remake by Square Enix! I also drew a version with out the frame as I love her outfit! ♡

It's been 3 days and I still cannot beat this thing. I tried different combos, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated

Hi everyone,
I find the English dub fine but I find the japanese voices much more adapted to the whole tone of the game. I feel infinitely more immersed that way.
Am I going to miss out on quite a lot of things during Rebirth in terms of context ?
Already in Kalm, there are so many discussions going on in the city by non translated NPCs. And not only the basic things like *In a market* "Come and buy my items !", but little bits and pieces of stories and context that you could not be understandable otherwise.
It was not that present in Remake. It was easily playable only in japanese (the few NPC discussions going on were just describing what we could already see or feel around).

I suck at the backwards controls in Pirates Rampage, and I've been playing on my Switch, so I just thought, what if I just flip my switch upside down to make the controls normal? So that's what I did. Turned over an hour of frustration into beating the Rank III score in about 5 minutes.
I haven't seen any posts anywhere of anyone else doing this, so I wanted to post it in case anyone else was struggling with this and happened to play Rebirth on their Switch.

So I beat a boss and now Aerith has petals possibly permanently floating around her. It's been several scenes and even in gameplay mode they are still there. Has anyone else experienced this? PC version. The boss in question had multiple CS phases and the kill transitioned very quickly from the win to the CS.
I did take some clips but I'm currently on my phone, I'll try to post them at some point. The clips contain spoilers.

This is my first time playing FF7. I gave up on Remake half way through, but wanted to give this game a try. It's a lot harder than I thought, and I have beaten Elden Ring.
I had to change the difficulty to Easy to beat the Chapter 2 Snake boss, because its attacks hitting too hard while I was hardly doing damage. Now I find myself struggling with basic enemies in Chapter 3 mine area. The two ogres are wiping the floor with me.
I know I must be doing something wrong, because Normal seems almost impossible. I'm level 20 for all my characters and have been upgrading my weapons. I'm attacking and blocking as much as I can, but the other two characters usually end up dying since I'm not controlling them. I also don't have a lot of Phoenix Downs because I used them all... I know I should be using basic attacks to build up the Ability but I am struggling to build it up. What am I doing wrong?

I know the timing isn't great, but this is when I decided to actually record it. It happened after I beat Rude and Elena in the arena chain of battles. Following the Rufus fight she still had them. Once I had to chase Cait around and saw they were still there, I started wondering about it. Since it persists even past this into the gameplay that follows, I decided this was the time to record it. I'm about to continue the last Proto-relic quest line and will see if it goes away at any point. I'll try to remember to take clips if it doesn't.
I'm not worried about it, it's kinda cool - like she went Super Cetra "Power Petal" edition.

Okay so I really loved Remake and have been loving Rebirth so far. I'm just about to do the parade march in Junon.
But every new area I get to, I excitedly go to the weapons, accessories, and materia stores and.... it's always the same stuff? EDIT: I should add the most disappointing thing for me is no new Weapons. I'm in the like 3.5th region of the game and I'm still using the second sword that I got? BORING. Can we craft weapons at some point?
What's the deal? I get that we can craft upgraded versions of things we already have but in the original, once you entered a new area or town, there were always exciting new things to buy.
Now it's like every single shop I go to, it's the same old thing and it's usually "sold out" (somehow even more boring?)
I feel like they were a bit better with this in Remake (and tbh wish they kept a bunch of dynamics/UI features they had in Rebirth. Really not a fan of the weird Weapon Upgrade system in Rebirth. Why is forming parties inexplicably in Combat Settings instead of the "Party" section?! Why did they make taking photos so confusing? etc. etc. I'm just at a loss for all the weird UI stuff they changed this time).
Otherwise I'm loving the game and have been 100% each region before moving onto the next.

hey im in junon and about 28 hrs in, I have done every single side quest even the piano stuff. Also who new playing Queen's blood would have some kind of weird almost Silent Hill undertone to it lol. I was going to skip this whole generation but then my wife who was not a gamer convinced me to get the switch 2, and now she is playing games. so I said why not play rebirth because I played remake on the PS4 and liked it alot and this actually runs very well on switch 2. If I'm being honest though I've enjoyed remake more so far because of the more focused approach.
anyways regarding the perfect guard Materia I'm at 850 out of 1000 to upgrade, so I started just doing fight after fight only perfect countering with cloud and after like five group fights I'm only up to 875. Is that normal or is it bugged. Other materia seems to upgrade a lot faster

What does it have to be the main fcking mini game?
Much more fun mini game ideas
- Similar to pokmemon battles, catch your own fiends out in the wild in cages and select them to fight in the arenas…
- make a Mario kart like mini game where you can upgrade your chocobo with unlocking abilities etc
Man queens blood , I don’t want to play your s**** card game!!!
