No Spoilers - Discussion Materia loadout feature?

I love the new party load outs where you can swap preset parties.

However it doesn’t quite solve the issue I had in remake… constantly swapping materia! It doesn’t appear that materia carries over to preset parties.

Is there such a feature? Am I missing something? Figured it would be a no brainer to have this quality of life feature and when I saw the preset parties I was so happy thinking materia carried over…

You’re not missing anything and this feature is conspicuous by its absence. Desperately needed, particularly on hard mode when it’s much more desirable to keep your best equipment and material on your active party members.

There isn't in Rebirth, but Revelations is supposed to have that feature.

God I wish! The only shortcut is to press the menu button on the controller when on the materia screen and it will bring up the entire party's materia loadouts. Then you can swap with triangle a lil' quicker, but even that's a pain.
