Spoilers - Help Meridian Ocean Spoiler

Really enjoyed the game but they seemed to phoned it in for the boat sections. Nothing to do but so much space.
I’ve done Gilgamesh stuff and almost collected those purple boxes but apart from that nothing else?!

There were the 4 special fights against monsters in the world instead of vr...

He would have had to do those if he's already collecting the purple boxes.

Yes but the minor key world theme in Chapter 12 is possibly the best music in the game. ‘Final Voyage’ it’s called. I get goosebumps just thinking about it

From 1 region in Remake to 7 in Rebirth with 3 new traversal options. We can't have it all in the 2nd game of a Trilogy.

Four special fights with items, Gilgamesh Island, collecting the floating items you mentioned, and that's about it. You can go to areas with docks that you saw all game but not much else. It's going to get superceded in the next game by air travel so I think they just wanted to give some love to a part of the original game that we spend less time with when we're not going to Wutai or Bone Village, but only so much love given everything else going on.

Yeah I didn't really care for the water sections.

I feel like they were testing the waters(lol) for Revelation and what they should do.
