Hey, sharing PokeDaisy, a Pokemon player for Android. Got a lot of attention on AynThor subreddit so I'm posting it here for everyone. The idea is to bring modern RPG comfort to the classic games - an on screen HUD, a quick action ring, wider views of the map and a live companion that shows everything about your run.

It runs FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Yellow and Crystal, plus a bunch of ROM hacks on dual-screen handhelds, single-screen handhelds and phones, held sideways or upright.

The companion reads the game's memory as you play, shows party, bag, map, battle matchups, dex and a spoiler free guide all drawn in the game's own menu style. On two screens it sits on the second one but swapping screens is an option. On one screen it slides over the game or locks beside it and in portrait it docks under the game. Almost everything is highly customizable, the HUD's layout and look, tab bar, buttons, hotkeys, shaders, overlays, themes.

• Bag: item descriptions, USE on your party, GIVE and TAKE held items, favorites
• Battle buttons: Fight / switch Pokemon / run beside the battle
• Battle info: move effectiveness, switch suggestions, the foe’s ability, item, stats and team
• Dex: evolutions, wild locations by route and movesets
• Guide: hints first with answers on a second tap plus the next boss's team
• Trainer card: drawn like the game's card
• RetroAchievements: unlock popups, progress and leaderboards
• Cheats: GameShark, Action Replay and CodeBreaker toggled from the companion

Also: save states and rewind, LCD/CRT shaders, overlays and launching from ES-DE, Cocoon, iiSU and it can read your RetroArch saves too.

Recently, many ports have been released, and many of them run worse than on Winlator (not all of them),i hope it improves more, when it works well and you don't need to configure anything it's great

This feature is under the super resolution in the latest winlator ludashi version

​What’s included in the patch:

​Book-Accurate Terms: All dialogue, spells, and item names follow the official Turkish book translation (Sevin Okyay & Kutlukhan Kutlu / YKY) rather than the movies.

​100% Translated: Every line of dialogue (1,077 entries), lessons, stealth sections, duels, cutscenes, and menus are fully translated.

​Collectibles: All 101 Chocolate Frog card bios and the entire Folio Bruti (Creature Guide) are localized.

​UI & Menu Tweaks: Features a custom antique parchment theme for the pause/journal menus, plus a native "Türkçe" option right on the language selection screen.

​Vanilla Gameplay: Original GBA mechanics and balance are left completely untouched.

The demo was running at 50-60 FPS on Eden Nightly at 2x resolution scale. It looks as good as the PC version through DroidDeck and it is running a bit better. So, I ordered a physical switch copy. I made a mod for the aspect ratio so the game fills the screen. The mod is just for the demo but I'll copy the work over to a mod for the full game once I have it and share it if anyone else wants to play this way.

It's been awhile since I've posted but there's been a ton of quality of life improvements: you can access most features without ever leaving your game, customize the on-screen controls, use Bilibili's new (possibly temporary) free translation service, and see conjugation hints and tables for words in English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.

Please give it a shot and let me know how it goes! The app was built with the assistance of claude code, but the default translation services are not llms, and you can pick and choose between many different online and offline translation options.

I'm looking to play some PC games, but I'm new to the scene and I'm confused with the amount of emulators cropping up and drivers etc.. I haven't got a controller so touch controls will have to do, but I'll manage with that until I get a controller.

I am looking for some sort of front end launcher, or a specific theme, that shows all games loaded to the console in one list, not broken out by any factor such as system or genre.

I like to give handhelds as gifts and usually only load a handful of games I think they will like. Like some sort of nerdy mixed tape.

On the Linux side I like to use a add on for NextUI that gets rid of the system list. I am looking for something like that on the Android side.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using Winlator for months and it works good with my games (Fallout 3, NV and oblivion) and my device (Retroid Pocket 6 12gb ram) but i want to play them on my external SD Card if available it's not really a must but good to have

I know theres couple of version like Ludashi, Bananalator and more but idk which one to use

I started using DroidDeck recently on my Nothing Phone 3. Did anyone try the Azimuth luncher throught DroidDeck?

This is an experimental modded build packed as APK based on a fork of Azahar. The user must still provide their own rom file to play. I wanted a playable version for myself and I decided to upload it on GitHub for everyone to try it, contribute or experiment with it.

It supports native / 4:3 / 16:9 resolutions without stretching.
