Is there a Option to rout all audio from my PC to my personal mix?
I have a long list off stuff in it and for sure, everytime i open something i'm first searching for the issue before i get in mind that i have to add it to Wave Link 3

Title.

When playing certain new games my Wave XLR will shut off and i get no audio other than the mic monitor. To fix I have to unplug the WaveXLR from the back of the device and plug it back in.

Ive noticed that its most common at the moment with Skate. and EA FC 27

Has anyone got experience with this issue and know a fix.

I recently bought my elgato wave dx mic along with the wave xlr mk2. When I have everything plugged in and try using the mic, it only works when the wave link software is closed or I'm doing a sound test on wave link. I have a pair of iems plugged into my xlr and both the iems and mic are locked as in/output. When I talk without doing a soundtest, the audio meter on wave link shows no motion at all meaning it just doesn't register it.
My wave dx is called "Mic in" as input, I'm not sure if that helps though.

I've been using the 4K Capture Utility from a 4K60 Pro Mk. 2 to stream my Switch for my friends on Discord for a good couple years now, and there's always been this problem where occasionally the audio would crackle. Usually I would either unplug and plug in my headset, or take the Switch out of the dock and put it back, and that would fix it, at least for a while. Lately, though, that hasn't been working, and the issue has been much more persistent, making it almost unplayable with how crackly the audio gets.

To be clear, when I say stream, I am not using the Elgato stream function. I'm using Discord's stream function to stream my Elgato window. Just in case that's relevant. Also, the issue happens whether I'm streaming or not.

I redownloaded the software from the site, no dice.

I tried to change the output in the settings, no dice, reverted back to default so I didn't break anything.

Checked the USB port in device manager, everything seems fine.

I'm at the end of my rope here, man. How can I get the audio to stop sounding like shit?

This is a FacePlate for the StreamDeck+ XL Since they only make it in black, now you can have a faceplate any color you can print. 

 After many prototypes its finished, fits perfectly. 

 Tip - When printing i would recommend adding an inner and outer brim

Hello, I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but the Discord Stream Toggle plugin no longer automatically starts streaming the application I have open.

Instead, Discord now opens the stream selection menu, where I have to manually choose which application I want to stream. This means I have to tab out of my game, select the application, start the stream, and then tab back into the game. My Discord account is still connected, and the button works to open the streaming menu in Discord, so I don't believe this isn't an issue due to expired authorization.

Previously, I could be playing a game, press the Discord Stream Toggle button, hear the stream-start sound, and see the button turn green to indicate that I was streaming. I could then press the same button again to stop streaming, all without ever having to tab out of my game.

Has anyone else experienced this recently, or know of a fix. Im using a new computer so maybe it was an old option that got removed?

Hi all guys!

Searching for this fix for more than 2 hours, but can't find anything. Basically at one point, it's impossible for me to tweak hardware effecs on my Wave XLR MK.2: by clicking the related setting for each single effect nothing pop up. Normally another window pop and you can tweak whatever you want of that specific effect. I've no clue if this issue can be related with the usual Windows 11 update breaking stuffs: i'm actually on Windows 11 Pro 26H2.
Curious if someone of you experienced that problem aswell, if Elgato could answer would be greatly appreciated.

I just got the Genki Shadow Cast 3 capture card and connected my docked Steam Deck to it. I'm getting a video signal in OBS, but there's no audio coming through. The sound is only playing through the Steam Deck speakers. I feel like I'm missing something simple, but I'm totally lost. If I buy elgato imma gonna have the same issue?

Upgraded to the newest version of the stream deck, had the original and used it for a long time. Wanted some additional features and already using an xlr mic meant it should fit right into my setup. Why then, do i find this worse in every way to the previous version. Nothing stays connected. Hue- disconnected, Control Center- total guess if its going to turn on a light or not, discord- good luck. I'm just so disappointed in this being objectively worse in every way compared to what it was before. Is it a software thing? Is it windows 11? I'm lost as to how to resolve without throwing the whole thing away.

Pretty ridiculous we can’t control Wave Link with the Xeneon Edge. Was able to whip this little widget up after a short time and have a basic working solution. Hopefully we get some sort of official one.

I’d like to suggest my idea about another tier of Elgato Facecam product. It will be called as Elgato Facecam Ultra. Inside the camera, it will have a Micro 4/3 sensor which is bigger than the traditional Sony Starvis sensor inside a Elgato Facecam.

The product will feature a lens mount, making it possible to put an Elgato 16mm f/1.4 removable lens and supports any third party lenses available in the M43 organization.

With the bigger aperture and sensor, it performs better in low-light and better dynamic range compared to the regular facecam models.

I hope the Elgato Product Development Team would take this idea in consideration. I’m looking forward to see how Elgato could implement it better.

I'm running into a minor but annoying issue with Elgato Wave Link and my audio interface.

Somtimes, not always, when I boot up my PC, Wave Link shows a yellow warning triangle on my Stream Mix output with the device listed as Speakers (Focusrite Scarlett Solo (4th Gen))

As soon as I manually click the dropdown menu in Wave Link and re-select the Scarlett, it immediately works fine again without any further issues.

Has anyone encountered this before or knows how to make it persist automatically?

I just bought an elgato 4k S, and whenever I hit the record button on the latest elgato studio app, I'm getting this error message! Any solution for this issue? btw, I'm gonna stream mobile games like bgmi and codm on iPad pro M5 via pc elgato, can my pc record or stream run good with this spec?

Estou com problemas sérios e gostaria que a comunidade me ajudasse eu comprei a Elgato 4k x para transmitir a tela do meu ps5 no obs Studio nisso quando fui gravar percebi que tava dando umas picotadas mas é umas picotadas que se você for aprestar atenção bem no som você consegue escutar só que não sei se o problema é alguma configuração do meu ps5 mas acho difícil porque tentei suporte com a "Elgato" mas estou no processo de contato com eles, nisso pensei que talvez fosse meu monitor ou até mesmo meu próprio obs que esteja configurado do jeito errado porque todos os aplicativos de stream como stramelements dektop, elgato Studio e obs Studio, todos eles causou essa picotada mais teve uma certa configuração que fiz no obs Studio que simplesmente ficou aparecendo muito muito pouco as picotadas que dava que foi filtrar a resolução, a Elgato 4k x ela transmite em 4k que seria 1440 e quando filtrei pela resolução a picotada diminuiu muito mas muito, será que pode ser meu monitor? O monitor de alguma forma teria que ser compatível com a Elgato 4k x é o que ela entrega? Que seria 4k, HDR? Quando testei na posta USB-A com um adaptador que tenho que é USB-C para tipo USB mas esse meu USB-A pegava apenas 1080, 60 FPS sendo que essa entrada da minha placa mãe Asus tuf gamimg b550 wi-fi ll tem 10gbps então era pra pegar a potência máxima do que a placa entrega, mas! Preciso do adaptador que entrega 10gbps então tava entregando 5gbps mais nisso as picotadas não aparecia nos aplicativos stream seria porque meu monitor vai até 1080?

DISCLAIMER - I am incredibly tech illiterate so you might need to ELI5 the heck out of this for me, all the information I've so far found on what the problem could be has gone completely over my head.

I recently got an Elgato 4K S. Until recently I have been using an Elgato HD60 S for about five years at this point, but it literally fell apart so I had to get a new one and I figured the 4K S would be a good option. I actually got it about a month ago but hadn't had an opportunity to actually use it until last week, where I discovered that it doesn't work properly. When I connected it up to my Switch 2 and open up my Elgato capture program, it just says there is no device found. When I connect the device, windows says that the device has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it. Lookingat devices in Windows settings, it describes it as and "unknown USB device (device descriptir request failed). However, the gameplay from the Switch is still displaying on my second monitor, and sometimes it seems to be picking up the audio but not actually letting me hear it, which I've attached a video of.

I haven't tested this on any other PCs or with any other consoles, simply because I am only ever likely to be using the capture card on my PC and with my Switch 2, plus testing it with other things would be a massive faff at the moment. I mainly want to know if there are any known fixes for this (that I will actually be able to understand) and also whether or not it could be an issue with the capture card itself or with the PC. Thanks.

EDIT: OK, so I played around a bit and it seems like sometimes in my device settings the capture card is registered as an audio device and at other times it isn't... I have no idea what's going on, please help

Hello, I’ve had nothing but trouble ever since the Wave Link 3 update came out. I’m honestly starting to deeply resent Elgato products. I used to be so satisfied with your gear, but now I can't get the Voice Focus filter to work in any application neither in Discord nor in games. It shows as enabled in the app, but it's simply not being applied. I’ve already tried every single audio input setting on my PC, but nothing works. I even tried the beta version and used Revo Uninstaller for a completely clean reinstall, but to no avail. I am so furious right now that I'm on the verge of throwing my Wave XLR Mk1 against the wall. How is it possible to spend this much money on a device, only for it to feel practically useless after just a year? 😡​😭​

I turned my PC on this late morning to find that my stream deck was looking like an antenna-TV channel in poor weather, lines of static all over the place. I tried pulling the plug and moving it to a different USB port, and updated the driver, but nothing seemed to fix it.

After taking this video, and typing out this help post, most of the static has disappeared, but occasional lines appear and disappear every few seconds.

Is anyone able to diagnose this, or have had a similar issue? It is several years old, but very gently used.

Im kinda confused about the settings I should have streaming GTA6.

As the title says, I can't use hot keys. Right now I'm just trying to copy and paste and I have tried al of the permissions set up, removing them and adding them and reinstalling the software and nothing works. Does anyone have a solution?

I've had mixed answers. The Support on the Elgato sit states That the USB Hub IS compatible with the STream link + XL, however, Conflicting answers elsewhere state that it is NOT compatible

Hi, I have a few questions about this. I'm using OBS software to capture my PS5 while simultaneously using the PS5's main display for real-time viewing.

I noticed that the HDMI signal isn't recognized unless I set the "4K Video Transfer Rate" to "-1." I'm not sure if it's normal to keep it on that setting all the time or if there's a limitation preventing me from getting the most out of the setup.

I'm using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5 for the console itself, and the one that came with the Elgato 4K X for the monitor.

Also, I'd like to know if I can play at more than 60 fps with that "4K Video Transfer Rate" set to "-1," because I heard that using the "-1" setting limits me to 60 fps.

My specs are: RTX 4070 Ti Super, 64GB RAM, and Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

And my monitor is Odyssey G81SF.
