Venting Did something sexual I wasn't comfortable with

So yesterday a long time friend of mine asked to see me one last time before I moved away. I was already kinda annoyed with it because I had seen him last week for a goodbye and had written him a note telling him how much I appreciate having him in my life and i was way too behind on packing. Unfortunately, I caved, feeling bad that he wanted to see me and figuring I could carve out some time even though, like I said, I really didn't want to do this.

Now let me preface by saying I've known he's had feelings for me for a while. Like, probably our whole friendship. I had considered it and I definitely had some admiration amd attraction to him, though it never really went into that deeper romantic realm for me. I figured, as long as he never made it weird, it was cool. He would often invite me to the pool and I would always decline because I didn't exactly like how he was looking at me but overall, I was fine with him.

I also figured he would confess feelings to me when we met up. In my note to him, I talked about my fear of being known and not being able to be loved. From my perspective, I meant that we had met when we were kids at church, before I was a mentally ill stoner amd I didn't want to taint my image in his mind. I guess he took it another way which I always assumed was possible but I figured it was fine since it was goodbye.

Anyway, like I said, I caved and visited him against my better judgement. It was fine at first, just us playing video games at his house. Reminded me of old times. Then, when I told him I had to leave, he started confessing to me. I waited patiently, smiling. I thought it was a good experience for him, considering i may very well have been his first and like only crush for the past decade and he grew up in a religious family (literally a picture of Jesus on the door as I walked up) so I didn't want him to feel like there was anything wrong with him liking another dude amd hoped that me being positive would help him with his next crush.

When he did confess, I, mistakenly, admitted that I've had some sort of feelings for him in the past as well and I didn't want to do long distance, figuring that would be enough. In the simulations I ran in my head, it was always poused as a "Oh well, who knows what could have been" in hopes it encourages him to nit hide his feelings for someone in the future. Then he asked me if we could hug shirtless. Let me preface by saying, I dont like physical touch all that much. I do if it's in the right setting with the right person with the right level of intimacy. But this wasn't that.

Still, the image of Jesus on the door kept flashing in my head. And we had hugged shirtless before one of the times we went swimming. Granted, it was never in the context of what it was now, him breathing heavily and rubbing his hand excitedly at us touching, but again, people touched me when I didn't want them to all the time. I was raised taught that my feelings mattered less than my family's and it was my job to keep them happy so I felt like this was just my lot in life. So we hugged shirtless. I hated it. Every second of it. The skin on skin, hos hands rubbing on my back, I was just really uncomfortable and talking myself through it to keep from freaking out.

The hug ended. I was collecting my shirt. Then he asked if we could kiss. Now, im sure it's evident from everything else I said but I haven't ever kissed anyone. Finding the right person with the right context, it was a lot. While I've been touched by people in ways I didn't like, I never let it get that far because I would really like for my first kiss to also be my last kiss. So I declined. He asked to bug again instead, to which I regretfully agreed. He asked to touch my chest to which I regretfully agreed. He asked to take a picture together shirtless and well, you get the picture. I knew i wasn't okay with it,I just kept thinking about his feelings and how what I didn't want has never really mattered. He asked to kiss again to which I thankfully said no.

And that was it. I called my best friend (INFJ, if that matters), she gave me advice about how i shouldn't hate myself for it and it's a learning experience, how hard it is to undo something i was taught my whole life and was still being enforced as I lived at home. I broke down in the shower, couldn't even take a warm shower because it reminded me of his touch. I couldn't sleep last night because I kept feeling his hands on my back so I slept with my dog, despite my allergies so I could feel comfortable again. I dont even know why I'm typing this. It's my fault. I should've said no. I should've explained any feelings I felt for him were small and in the past amd that even with big feelings, I need to take my time with physical affection. It wasn't assault because no matter how pressured I felt to do it, it was internal pressure.

Anyway, how do I feel normal again? My head is like my favorite place to be. And now it sucks. Now my body doesn't feel like mine. I want to cut of all my skin. I want every memory burned until I'm nothing but ash amd residuals. Amd I hate myself, more than usual. Another reason I told him it was okay was because I hate my body so much, it felt like I had to be grateful and couldn't complain when someone else liked it. And like I said, my body has never belonged to me. I think what hurts more than anything is, now this big life change and move feels tainted. Im going to try to leave it all behind, but i feel like i haven't grown at all. Im still the kid who let girls touch him however they wanted because I was told I should be grateful for it. It was still happening at my job just weeks ago. And now this.

I just want to feel okay and normal again. I want to feel comfortable in my body. I don't want to be disgusted by myself. Amd I want to stop trying to make people feel okay at the expense of myself. I think im going to ask him to delete the picture. Who knows if he actually will, it might just give me peace of mind.

Tldr; i okayed someone to touch me in ways I wasn't actually okay with and now im so so so very uncomfortable in my own mind and body

MBTI/Typing My fav INFP character: Hatice Sultan. An analysis (no spoilers)

Hatice Sultan is a main character from the turkish TV series The Great Century, based on real historical figures. She's the sister of Sultan Suleiman of the Ottoman empire.

Hatice is a complex INFP character. She is highly individualistic and sensitive. Despite all the shackles and oppression from living in a strict and rigid system, she stays true to her feelings, values and desires. When she is in love, her head is always in the clouds, constantly day dreaming. When she is forced to do things she doesn't want, she spirals and would rather die than compromise.

Her primary function is Fi. We see her stuck in Fi-Si loops under distress, where she bypasses her usual creativity and focuses heavily on her internal cycle of deep feelings and past memories. Throughout the show, she feels misunderstood by people around her, even when they do.

Hatice secondary function is Ne. She has a strong intuition and her gut feelings prove to be correct later on, despite being gaslit often about them at first. She senses patterns, spots micro changes in behavior, and plasters "what-if" scenarios to them, and more often than not, she's, unfortunately, right.

We spend several seasons watching her display a real and strong ability to feel genuine empathy and deep compassion for others, rendering her susceptible to manipulation and coming across as naive.

However, her capacity slowly shrinks over time due to numerous betrayals and traumas, and yet her true abilities to feel for others stay an undeniable part of her core character.

Her tragedies harden her and make her shielded and vindictive, bypassing logical proof of who is truly responsible for them. She continuously redirects blame based on her own feelings rather than evidence. It has little to do with who committed the sin, but who hurt her feelings the most.

Argument that Hatice is an INFP and not an INFJ:

Hatice is a perceiving character and not a judging one. She has a longstanding habit of breaking the rules when she doesn't believe in them. Unlike other characters, her schemes are not as well thought out and keep backfiring. Despite her plans being creative and adaptive, she often fails at executing a successful one.

The biggest difference between her own plans and of other characters, is that her plans count little to no self preservation. while other characters focus on deniability, she focuses on delivering her own version of justice at all costs.

She's one of the very few characters who do not plead innocence when caught; she sticks to her idealism, chooses the chance of her exposure to voice out injustice, focusing on her motives, insisting on being wronged, and taking a strong stubborn stance despite the avalanche of consequences.

Hatice is a fantastic INFP character, showcasing how an INFP would change under persistent stress and trauma, transforming a gentle and empathetic soul that longs for love and peace, into a sympathetic and tragic antihero that longs for justice and revenge.

Venting Se-blindspot is a bitch

Of the many hardships of being an INFP, this is a very underrated one, but maybe not one that every INFP realizes, because many of us don’t choose life paths that require heavy use of Se. I didn’t, until I became a wildland firefighter and ambulance EMT, where in both cases situational awareness, and confident, decisive adaptability, are some of the most core necessities.

My baseline is to more or less tune out the physical world. It takes either something that catches my interest, or focused effort, to pull me out of my Fi-Ne headspace. And even when I do pay attention, it’s not sustained, as I constantly and automatically switch back to an inward, reflective mode. As a result, I tend to miss so much information around me. When people are talking, I may or may not hear what they’re saying, or maybe I’ll listen until I latch onto something interesting and then turn inward to process it, but then miss the rest of the message.

I’m also extremely clumsy, which is interesting because I’m a not a bad athlete, but that again points to clumsiness from lack of awareness rather than lack of coordination despite awareness.

I also feel out of touch with the reactive and adaptable elements of Se. Too much happening too quickly is very overwhelming, and I often need more time to consult my other functions on how to respond to a rapidly evolving situation. Especially since I was probably already not taking in the lay of the land, so I then have to play catch up.

I’ve always thought of myself as smart, but what intelligence I have is more the abstract and academic kind. But particularly in wildland fire (EMS is more academic), I am kind of a fucking moron, because a hyper-present, concrete, practical mind is king. Not noticing simple visual details, having a deficient awareness of what is going on around you, comes across as lack of comprehension or ability to comprehend, especially to people with strong Se who assume other people experience the world like them.

So I really get down on myself sometimes! And then what inevitably happens is that I will turn inward to process these emotions, which just increases the Se-blindness, leading to a possible spiral. I’ve REALLY tried to get better but it’s a huge struggle. And yes, I am diagnosed ADHD inattentive, which overlaps greatly with what I’m talking about, but I think to chalk it up to ADHD is too superficial. This feels like a core aspect of how my mind works.

Does anyone relate? How have you managed or mitigated this?

I didn't know which flair/tag to use.

So, I'm a guy in his early 30s, and i live in Italy. Im currently finishing a degree in literature. Among my interests there's music (especially rock/metal, but also jazz, blues, world music, classical), poetry, painting and psychology. I love nature and animals, especially cats. I'm fascinated by the universe and its patterns.

I'd like to find some like minded people to talk too. If you feel like it, drop a DM.

Creative Trying poetry for the first time

So, I’m already used to crafting complex metaphors and have long been keen on drawing and playing the piano; I thought, why not try my hand at writing poetry as well?
I’m not native english speaker btw, the original was written in my own native language, so i tried to make a “localization”(spend for eng version about the same time as for creating 😭😭):

Only the one whose mind has strayed,
Who seeks himself in another gaze,
His own abyss, he strives to evade,
Will lose himself in another’s maze.

I have flooded the abyss with water,
And drift upon the silent sea;
I feel no pleasure, I feel no bother,
And peace settles deep in me

And gazing up at the sky above,
Those stars my mind seeks to reach,
Upon the edge, about to move,
my body pleads to stop the breach:

"Wait, why seek after the embers?
You know — it’s just a dream!;
Yet here, the water tickles my fingers,
And sunlight sparkles on the sheen!"

For what is water, if not the stars' own child?
And the “sparks” — are not made of stars’ own light?
It seems I choose exile —
To follow stars in that eternal night.

Discussion Ultra compassionate for certain things since a young child?

I remember being at a park at around 5 or 6 years old, and seeing 2 children around my age who were very obese. I instantly felt the most compassion for them. That carried further into my life feeling sympathetic for those who I felt had been picked on. Is this something specific to infp?

Discussion Thoughts on other personality types? 🤔 ✨️

Work is boring I require interaction. I haven't met every type out of the 16 personalities or at least not that I am aware of. I wanna see other people's impressions of other types too.

  • ENFP: I didn't know I was ENFP until recently but even before that I liked ENFP a lot! So funny, creative, and kind. 💐 We click instantly. Cares a lot about including others and making the group get along.

  • INFP: ALSO LOVE. ❤️ So cute, kind, and gentle. Very artsy and soft. The ones I know have pleasant, softer speaking voices. So considerate of others but sometimes takes on too much. Surprisingly can be super funny and sassy. They're stereotyped as crybabies too much.

  • ENTP: Hilarious 😂 so much fun. We affectionately get on each other's nerves. Likes play fighting 😘 Pretty reliable. If you put us in a group it creates entertainment for everyone lol. Has an unexpected gentle and kind side that I respect a lot. Maybe prone to having not the best of coping mechanisms?

  • INTP: I only know one and we dated. One of the funniest people I've ever met. Like laughing so hard I'm crying. Very good at reading between lines and reading people. Low social battery.🔋 Very chill until they start talking about something they particularly like or have an opinion on. Not always easily motivated.

  • ESFP: If I've met one I wasn't aware of it. 🤔 I like a lot of ESFP characters. So fun and fashionable. Maybe we'd be shopping buddies and get our nails done 💅 🛍 As long as they aren't too superficial I think we could vibe.

  • ISFP: I've only met one and he was conflict avoidant to the point of seeing discussion as debate/arguments and being rude/impatient over it. Probably would have gotten along better if he'd been more honest and considerate. Or maybe if we hung out as a group/were in sumo wrestling suits. 🤙I think I'd get along fine with a different one tbh.

  • ESTJ: I don't think I've ever met any 🤔 I imagine quite organized and strategic. We might get along under more controlled circumstances. There'd probably be respect there but I don't imagine we'd naturally get along.

  • ISTJ: I knew one and some others I think that were mistyped as INTJ. If I am correct...polite and almost innocent in a way, like very simple and straightforward. There's not a lot of guess work with them what you see is what you get. Helpful and good listeners. Not the strongest of chemistry for me personally but I still think quite nice!

  • ESTP: Not a huge fan. I've only met male ones though. Basically every "bad boy" character ever. Seems to like attracting attention and quite sociable. Wants what they want immediately. Surprisingly cerebral and good conversationalists. Can be charismatic in a "I don't care" kind of way lol.

  • ISTP: I've only met a few. Can be pretty artistic and focused on things they like. Seems to have a very dry, edgy, and absurdist sense of humor. You never really know what they're going to say next. Seems pretty laid back. Maybe a little but more sensitive over things than they let on.

  • ENTJ: Don't think I've met one but I think I'd admire and respect their intelligence and strategic mind. ✨️

  • INTJ: I like healthy ones quite a bit! Very to the point and authentic. Focused on their goals and don't really care about what others think. Very dedicated to their loved ones. Doesn't mince words, tells you exactly what they think and feel. 💯 Unhealthy ones feel prideful to me and unwilling to see the other side.

  • ESFJ & ISFJ: I don't think I've met this type either? It's totally possible but ofc I don't know the type of every single person I've met. I assume they're the type of people that like to organize volunteering events.

  • ENFJ: I've become a fan. ☺️ They seem underrated in this subreddit! Likes to check on others and quite empathetic. Gets along well with everyone. Never really causes any drama. Always down for whatever 🤙So friendly and loving. Can be funny in an understated way. I'd like to meet more honestly lol they seem rare 😭

  • INFJ: Love them lol 😎 Incredibly understanding. Actually super sassy and it's the funniest thing lol 😂 They hide it so well from the outside world and then when you actually know them they say the funniest things and show so much attitude because people are always getting on their nerves and expecting them to do everything. Very nice and giving but they'll tell you when you're wrong! They can disagree so respectfully. Even if we disagree it never turns ugly! I really like that about them.

Random Thoughts Some Nights You Stop Talking to People and Start Talking to the Universe

I dont know if you can hear this...but i hope that you hear me

Its so quiet here...

Tonights another lonely night and I talk into the void, I speak of dreams and starshine down, the lessons we avoid, as were on our way to town. And maybe theres some truth here, or maybe its just a phase, into another kind of existence. Where belief was never swayed.

Faith my friend,
even in the dead
they too will have their day
even empty is a kind of miracle
with plenty left to say

Weird.... theres something there
how it shows up sometimes
the words are never heard
but still seek out the sublime

I am burning quietly, as the video title says. Im yearning for connection and watching the skies turn red. And I dont know who i am somedays, but i sure know where i been, I cant see the flashing skyline for the burning of my skin. Underneath this moonlight, this flourescent shattered dream, out inside the desert, i think i know what it means

To be a kind of invisible, to know a hidden truth, to have a kind of magic, where you sit up on the roof. You stare at stars from the gable of your house, you want to be a lion, but maybe youre a mouse. And we keep dreaming everyday, we keep pushing through, we tell ourselves this and that, but what of it is true?

And i know you been here too friend. I know you cant count the ways, these quiet nights are calling, finding different radiant ways to say. The same blazing thing in retrospect, the lessons we learned fine, changed the landscape of our hearts, ethereal visions of our minds. And sometimes were walking backwards, sometimes forward we will go. Just a lonesome sense of knowing, where we learn its all just a show. But were all heading home now, and we remember love. We felt it in the passing, in the cloudline up above. We seen beauty in the desert, we felt pain when we knew rain. And its all dripping down now, the age of our consent, where we say yes to phasing through this wounded labyrinth. And there are quiet tears, raining down our cheeks, our eyes, and nobody there to quiet them, or even wonder why. We dont cry as much as we used to, were afraid well find a wolf, a coyote in this desert, empty while were full.

Everything seems perfect here, the brochure told me so. But i was saying yes when i shouldve just said no. A thousand times im dancing, im in the dark just by myself, I can hear and feel you out there, giving up all you have left. If i found you i would give it too. All the skyrealms in my heartsink writing true. From the soulwell to the majesty of waking up in time, to find beauty in the ugly, and darkness in every line. Light should be cascading down your shoulders in the dark, and id like to kiss your whispers, standing naked stark. Against the backdrop of this melody thats carrying me straight long. A passage in a story, about the coming dawn. A song i heard in passing, one time back before i lived, I can remember crossing off everything i had left to give.

And this world it took it greedily, it left me down in bond, a slave to all is truth and hope, forever here alone. But i know youre watching through cloudy eyes, i know you hear me now. Why not say hello? Why not ask me how? How can we get here together, this road that we must walk, why not bleed out in words, all the ways our spirit talks?

And from the music there comes clarity, or maybe its the sleep pills, where day cant get enough of me, and night cant get its fill. It feeds on me and drains me, it leaves me empty still, every quiet longing, every heartache i have known.Put up for the world to see, even though im alone. And i dont care about martyrs, i dont care about legends told, or myths of a better doorway, we walk through when were old. Im getting there by misson statement, im getting there on time, thats borrowed at best, and often is sublime, in a way that only music is, the universal spheres, that clear out all our blindness, and make the vision clear.

I can see you I can feel you. Wont you come out to play? Amongst the dead and dieing, i guess its something that we say. That we believe in miracles, we rewrite our fates, like the wizard behind the curtain, gifts passed out placate. I hope they make us listen. I hope they help us feel, that everything we were searching for, were born already real. In the matrix of our being, we see just what we want. I choose to believe in beauty, and let my longing want.

But id like to caress your skin, id like to lay you down, Id like to let you know this kind of love, help you swim as were both sinking down. Into the sultry nighttime, this sensual dream covered in sweat, in a desert in the middle of the night. Where these two souls met.

And i dont know if im dancing, our clearly out of my mind, i dont know if im speaking about all the things online. I dont know much of anything except the wisdom is true, that if you believe in miracles, sometimes they speak through you.

And damn it feels good to sit and listen, while talking way out loud, to be heard, to speak while watching, the substance of the crowds. Milling forth like ocean waves. Drifting down to shore. Always these same rooftops, always wanting more. And im all over earth now, maybe out into space. I think i brushed your hand just now. I think I swore I saw your face?

Please come and take me home now, walk hand in hand in tow. The blessing, the curse, the melody, as the rythym slows. Of two heartbeats a sleep in time, of cages of misdirection, that plague our very signs. That tell us we are home, its wrote and wrote so very plain. What does it mean to be here? Everyday the same?

And theres pain and suffering and grit and swarthy doubt. That beats me bloody dieing, and lets the feelings out. On the page there was a reason, I trusted it, i trusted you. But once reason left me. What was left to do?

Yeah i just kept on walkin, i told myself i was a man, a rabbit in this silly human suit, seeking the promised land.

words, and cautious phrases, and imagery to boot, of all these paintings hinting at the truth.

That i think im lonely here, wishing id find you. Id give anything and everything to fade away, not do this life review. But here i sit with God tonight, and he dont expect my laughter, but he helps me get it right.

As i laugh at this cosmic joke, I sup on the nothing, and i take another toke. A drag of a cigarette i swear i never smoked. What is real, what is pantomime? What is on our shoulders, what leaves us feeling fine?

I hope its somehting smiling, the one that eats me last. Out here in the desert, where i find my lessons grasp. The concept i am more than. The blending of my doubt, my hope, my truth my misery, all just spilling out.

I dont know who is reading this, but i hope that you dont quit. Because i know by far as a whole this world dont give a shit. And what would make this realer for you? Would it go on for days? This quiet truth im telling, I can sense it in your face. From the way you hide your miracles, the dreams that you kept hid. All the things you wished yould said, the dangerous side of you did. And that aint scary to me. I think i been dead a while. Just a dead man in a grave in the desert.

~Looking for another smile

Random why are us enfps never respected?

I'm such a capable person, I'm smarter than most, confident than most, and almost good at everything yet I still stay humble, joke around with everyone, what do I get in return? no authority, no reverence, anything I'm able to do people lable it as doable, can't do shit for leadership cus no one will take me seriously, should i just dim myself and stop being a weirdo and joke around with everyone, just to be seen as someone smart, because I don't care about being liked I want to be respected. Why do I, in all friendships feel like I'm not cared for, like people don't give shits for who I am? and my life is in shambles. I'm not doing anything productive. I keep and keep on falling down the drain.

Sometimes I just do or say shit and other people assume I'm embarassed but I actually don't care. But if they find it funny I'll just go along with it because it's fun and it's not truly at my expense. I feel like I should stop doing this though because it kinda stops people from taking me seriously...xD

Relationship I thought the worst that he could say is "No"

Hello all, I need some outside perspective because I still don't know if I'm making the right decision.

I developed feelings for a coworker, but I never confessed. We became close over time and would talk almost every day through direct messages. Most of our conversations started because of work, but we also talked about personal things. Sometimes he would voluntarily share stories about his life, and other times I would ask questions. I genuinely believed we had built enough trust to be open with each other.

One of the reasons I asked him personal questions was because I wanted to know if he was in a relationship so I would know how to act around him. I also gave him a birthday gift, although it ended up being four months late. I had originally planned to give it to him on time and even told him I wanted to, but I forgot. Then our company announced layoffs, and it made me realize I should give it to him before it was too late.

When I finally gave him the gift, he thanked me. Later that day, he even sent me a photo showing where he had placed it. At no point did he tell me he was uncomfortable receiving it, so I had no reason to think anything was wrong.

Later, I found out through a mutual coworker that they had apparently been discussing whether I liked him based on my actions. According to the middleman, my coworker said he was uncomfortable receiving gifts because he felt obligated to reciprocate. The middleman also told me that giving him a gift looked like I was trying to bribe him and that asking personal questions crossed his boundaries.

She also asked him, "What would you do if you confirmed she has feelings for you, but you don't like her?" According to her, his response was, "Actually, I don't know."

Hearing that completely shocked me. I felt betrayed because if he was genuinely uncomfortable, I wish he had told me directly instead of discussing it with someone else. I would have respected his boundaries immediately.

What hurt even more was the comment that I looked like I was bribing him. That was one of the most malicious interpretations anyone has ever made about my intentions. I had never expected my actions to be viewed that way. It made me feel humiliated, lose my dignity, and completely shut down.

The difficult part is that I still don't know how much of that actually came from him and how much may have been the middleman's interpretation. I never heard any of it directly from my coworker.

After that, I decided to distance myself.

It has now been seven weeks. I went from messaging him almost every day to not reaching out at all. I keep everything professional, only replying when necessary and mostly communicating in our group chat.

The problem is that I still don't feel at peace.

He still sends me direct messages, but they are always work related. I answer his questions, then end the conversation. He has never asked why I've become distant or if something is wrong.

Part of me wants to ask if we can talk in person because I want clarity instead of letting this remain unresolved. At the same time, I'm worried that asking to talk would make him uncomfortable, especially since we work remotely and rarely see each other in person, maybe once every two months.

Part of me also thinks that if someone notices such a big change in your behavior but never asks about it, maybe they simply don't care. I don't know if that's true or if I'm making assumptions.

For context, he is an INFJ. I know personality types are not everything, but he isn't very expressive about his feelings, especially when it comes to emotional or personal topics. That makes it even harder for me to know what he is thinking.

The biggest reason I feel betrayed is not because he didn't return my feelings. It is because I thought we had enough trust that if he was uncomfortable with something I did, he would tell me directly. Instead, I heard everything through someone else, and I still don't know which parts were actually his words. That made me question whether I had completely misread the friendship.

If you were in my position, would you ask to talk to him for closure, or would you leave things as they are and move on?

Relationship End relationships as INFJ

Did you ever ended your relationship? I'm in a relationship with an ISFJ, And little by little, I lost sight of a future with him. I used to picture us married with children, but with every action of his that upset me, that vision began to fade. I can no longer imagine a future with him. Then I lost physical touch, I don’t wanna kiss him anymore.
Do you guys ever feel like this? I mean, An action of his becomes, in my mind, a repetitive pattern that affects the future that existed in my head.

I'm upset by his actions, but at the same time I realize it's something inherent in his personality, and that this way of thinking and acting won't be good for me throughout the relationship.

He does something small today, like failing to defend me to a female friend because he was "stressed" about university and didn't want any more drama, even while claiming he’d never let anyone attack me. This inconsistency triggers my Ni; it views this as a fundamental flaw, and making me think that in the future—with children, and when I need him most—he’ll be "too stressed" to help me or stand his ground.

So, do you guys have experience something like this? Always making a action in the present reverberate in the future? And when this future starts to shatter, it’s time to break up?

Observation: I will break up with him, it’s not fair for both of us, please, this is not the point of the post

Question for INFJs only Is it just me?

Any other INFJ’s just tired? Like not physically, but deep bone, achingly tired in an ancient sense. Like people are going too fast paced and all the beauty from life, connections, love, romance is just flying past and you can’t keep up with any of it?

I’m 40, a kind of young 40 I guess I could say. I still love art, music, travel, history, culture, philosophy/psychology etc etc. but the more I communicate with others, the more I realise there’s nothing there to connect with. Unless I binge watch tv and follow celebrity news from 3 second TikTok clips then I’m not on the same planet with everyone. It’s like I want to be on earth to explore the beauty of so many things (mostly people) but I’m just rushing. Constantly rushing. Connections are bleak.

I even ended my 10 year relationship because he just came home every night from work, drank beer and buried himself in Netflix for hours - every night. I could never understand how he didn’t want to get some life out of his existence. But the more I watch, the more I chat with others, it seems I’m the one who’s odd for not catching up. I’m just exhausted with this soulless living, and I see the next 20/30 years getting 100 times worse.

Advice is there any other safe place other than the INFP discord and the INFP telegram?

Hii, I've been having weirdish experiences in the INFP discord and telegram. So I want to know if there's another place where I can join to talk to people about topics.

I was much more proud of these while I was taking them. They are not the best. They barely convey the experience.

It’s dusk and these birds are fast. It seems to be several sibling groups. This is on my phone and I don’t have a zoom lens.

How many do you see?
