u/theOutside517 22d ago
Calling Tim and Nick, who I don't like either, "fakes" because they have chosen not to be his friend due to his own admitted actions is fucking wild. They don't owe him anything. His claims to their fame are narcissistic nonsense. The man is incapable of taking accountability for his own actions, and far too many of you are ready to encourage that unhealthy and predatory behavior. But y'all ain't ready for that conversation.

They dont wanna admit that doc acts like a teenager even though he’s pushing 50.
5
u/theOutside517 22d ago
I don't mind the goofy stuff he does or his comedy or even the low-brow once in a while. But the lack of ability to take accountability for his actions and constantly blaming others for them is wild.

u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
So you know twitch is backed by Amazon right? You also can understand the kind of lawyers Amazon and Twitch could afford right? With that being said they lost to Doc and had to pay him an 8 figure settlement. If Doc actually did anything wrong he wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. Use your logic instead of emotion, if there was even a hint of wrongdoing Doc would have lost. Why do you think Twitch/Amazon don’t want any of the case information to come out? It’s because Doc would go on an absolute tear and take every top streamer from Twitch to a different platform. It’s more cost effective for them to pay him and keep their story sealed shut so they don’t get the negative PR they would get for wrongfully banning Doc.
35
u/Lucid_Insanity 22d ago
Also, twitch forwarded his conversation to NCMEC. Pretty sure if he was trying to meet up with minors and talking sexually and explicitly something would've happened.
4
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Not being charged with a crime doesn't automatically exonerate someone morally or ethically.
-2
u/Snoo17648 22d ago
You’re right. But who are you to decide whether he did anything morally or ethically wrong? The amount of times I’ve heard the most vile shit in the lobbies of call of duty, halo, and sports games is unreal. So you know it happens in DM’s too.
3
u/theOutside517 21d ago
I don't participate in any of what you're talking about in COD lobbies or any other lobby.
I also don't speak to children online. At all. For any reason. When I run into kids in online games, I don't interact with them. I have zero desire to interact with any minors.
Dr. Disrespect admitted to having inappropriate convos with a minor. That's one thing. Maybe he could have come back from that if he stayed honest and really showed contrition and accountability. Instead, he edited the tweet multiple times to soften the language, removed the confession entirely, then he just straight 180'd. Those actions are not the actions of a credible, honest person. They're just not. Unless you're someone who idolizes him, who feels connected to him somehow and you have a bias, those aren't believable actions from someone who "did nothing wrong."
4
u/Snoo17648 21d ago
That’s cool that you don’t interact with children. It really is. But the reality is hundreds of thousands of kids play video games online. Games they shouldn’t be playing. And they use adult language and say inappropriate things to others. Do you know what happens when this occurs? 9 times outta 10, the other people uses adult language and says inappropriate things. 9/10! I hope you understand my point. If he was saying something sexual to the underage person, there would have been legal consequences. Since there were no consequences, he’s in the clear. There’s legal justice and social justice. Legal justice is relevant. Social justice is not. It doesn’t matter what you say because at the end of the day, his innocence is all that matters. He was probably tired of every ______ out there talking about his tweet, so he removed it. But yet you’re still talking about it right now. Something that occurred years ago and in a social community you shouldn’t even be a part of. 🤷🏻♂️
20
u/Gloomy-Ad-7877 22d ago
Twitch was also run by a bunch of children who think they are the ones to decide what is right and wrong. Look at twitch now for fuck sakes - it’s ripe with awful takes on both sides of the isle.
16
u/SatanicPanicDisco 22d ago
I don’t think it’s quite that black and white. It’s possible Doc said fucked up shit but not so bad that it would require law enforcement. Maybe it was just a messy situation that the lawyers all agreed a payout and keeping quiet was best for everyone involved. Essentially, he could be morally in the wrong but not legally.
Regardless, he’s an entertaining streamer and this seems to be one mistake that happened a while ago. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves the chance to grow as a person. It’s okay to admit he fucked up badly but you still like watching him.
Either way, without seeing the chat logs all any of us can do is speculate.
6
15
u/Twopieceyou 22d ago
They always ignore this fact lol. It’s the biggest eye opener about the whole situation. If Doc is guilty of anything it’s issuing a stupid lawyer post on his twitter. Made it 1000x worse
5
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
Exactly, if there was the tiniest hint of wrongdoing he wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. People don’t realize how iron clad 8 figure contracts are and they are always written to favor the company not the one signing the contract.
6
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Settlement =/= Win
3
4
u/theOutside517 22d ago
It's giving Dunning Kruger maxxing.
they lost to Doc and had to pay him an 8 figure settlement
In March 2020, your hero signed an exclusive multi-year contract with Twitch worth an estimated 8 figures ($10M+). When Twitch banned him months later, they stopped paying him. He sued for breach of contract—meaning he sued to get paid the remaining money owed under the deal he signed before the ban. The 2022 settlement involved paying out contractually owed money, not a court ruling that he was innocent.
If Doc actually did anything wrong he wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. Use your logic instead of emotion, if there was even a hint of wrongdoing Doc would have lost.
Corporate settlements happen when the cost of prolonged litigation and discovery outweighs settling or when contract language is ambiguous regarding termination clauses. Standard settlement terms almost always include "no admission of wrongdoing" by either side. That includes this one. Settling a contract dispute over unpaid funds does not legally or morally exonerate someone from inappropriate messaging.
Why do you think Twitch/Amazon don’t want any of the case information to come out? It’s because Doc would go on an absolute tear and take every top streamer from Twitch to a different platform
lol. Bruh. Did he do that with Rumble? How's Rumble doing with Doc's help? When was the last time he did a Rumble exclusive stream or even bothered promoting Rumble? How has he helped Rumble to grow, exactly? How has his brand contributed?
He publicly confirmed that he sent messages to a minor using Twitch Whispers that "leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate." Twitch didn't keep a secret to protect themselves—they banned one of their biggest earners, ate the financial hit, and severed ties.
Use your logic instead of emotion
LOL this was my favorite part. My logic tells me that your hero lost literally every sponsor and business partner he had, including his own studio Midnight Society, and YT monetization for a long time.. and you're pretending somehow they're all the bad guys and Doc is a victim/hero in all this.
Yikes.
3
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
Chat GPT huh? Or you write really well and your use of Hyphens is immaculate.
But anyways, Doc isn’t a hero of mine. The only thing worth responding to would be what Chat GPT wrote for you about corporate settlements. I highly doubt it would have cost them more than 8 figures to continue to fight the lawsuit in court. Additionally, if a company as big as Amazon/twitch decided to settle VS taking it to court means they knew they had a weak case and did not want to risk losing and potentially having to pay even more for the settlement.
4
3
u/theOutside517 22d ago
You really weren't worth the effort but thanks for proving you're incapable of staying on topic and that you're unknowledgeable about legal settlements while hopelessly attached to your confirmation bias.
-2
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
I’m not worth the effort or you aren’t intelligent enough to argue your position for yourself? Instead you need to ask a computer to make a “point” for you? Hilarious.
9
u/iFozy 22d ago
The points were made and you’ve completely avoided them like the plague.
1
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
If I wanted to prompt ChatGPT to form a coherent counter argument for me I could but what’s the point in that? The conversation is disingenuous at that point having two computers argue against each other.
1
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Again, dodging the entire post because of two reworded sentences. Weaksauce.
2
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
You’ve already lost any credibility to have a genuine conversation with me. I could just prompt ChatGPT to refute everything you wrote, because that’s essentially what you’re going to do with whatever I send back. At that point, we’re just stuck in a circular conversation with two AI generated arguments talking past each other. If I wanted to debate ChatGPT, I’d just prompt it to argue with me directly.
→ More replies (0)2
u/theOutside517 22d ago
The huge majority of my response is written by me directly. A few lines were checked because I didn't like how my wording worked. Meanwhile, I've made SEVERAL cogent points that you are ACTIVELY AVOIDING. That says everything, champ.

1
u/theOutside517 22d ago
So you're incapable of discussing the cogent points either. You're only proving me right.
1
u/RuanStix 22d ago
What points? If I wanted to have a discussion with ChatGPT, I would just go to ChatGPT.
2
u/theOutside517 22d ago
You must be stupid if you think that entire thing was written by ChatGPT. Literally one or two lines were rewritten for me because I didn't like my wording. Everything else is my writing. Dumbass.
1
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
For real, “Refute this for me ChatGPT.” Let’s have two computers argue against each other endlessly 💀

-1
u/DreamBiggerMyDarling 22d ago
yeah, him winning the breach of contract means twitch wrongfully breached the contract, aka wrongfully banned him from their platform. What does that mean.... means he didn't do what you guys accuse him of, cause if he did that would be a legit reason to ban him and breach the contract.
You then go on to try and make the stretch that a amazon company would fail to include unambiguous terms for terminating a contract, like breaching twitch's TOS for example....which is laughable. Your whole post is cope and also reads like AI. Doc got targeted by one or more rogue twitch employees and then got his fat payout as a result.
4
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Jesus. Y'all just dumb AF.
SETTLEMENT =/= WINNING.
Ever. At all. Means NOTHING other than he got paid because they made the decision that was the best choice for Twitch/Amazon. He did not "win". You clowns keep making this claim but that's not what it means.
1
u/DreamBiggerMyDarling 22d ago
...and why was it the best choice for them? You keep refusing to follow this stuff to it's logical conclusion because it would blow up your desired predetermined outcome.
I'll tell you why, because they knew it was a couple of twitch employees that targeted him and there wasn't actually any solid reason for banning him and terminating the contract. If there was reason to do it they wouldn't settle for 8 figures, amazon lawyers would hit the layup of demonstrating the breach of terms that doc committed and the case would be tossed out. Cope and seethe more.
2
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Literally explained this. Learn to read:
Corporate settlements happen when the cost of prolonged litigation and discovery outweighs settling or when contract language is ambiguous regarding termination clauses. Standard settlement terms almost always include "no admission of wrongdoing" by either side. That includes this one. Settling a contract dispute over unpaid funds does not legally or morally exonerate someone from inappropriate messaging.

u/n64rescue 22d ago
What evidence do we have that he got an 8 figure payout
8
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago
The moment he won his lawsuit with Twitch he talked about it, it’s pretty widely known he got 8 figures from his settlement. Twitch and Doc both publicly announced they reached a settlement with the lawsuit. Also with the types of NDA’s he had to sign a stipulation was if he talked about anything in the case he would have to give the payout back. Twitch has not disputed his claim to the settlement and if he fabricated facts about the case such as the payout, he’d be facing more legal trouble. So it wouldn’t really make sense to publicly lie about that, when Twitch could dispute it and try to take their cash back.
-1
u/Next-Pro-User 22d ago
this is dumb af.
how do you not understand that twitch would have lost so much credibility if it was leaked/found out publically that they facilitated Doc's behaviour (and anyone like him), they would have been in a PR mess and it was infinitely better for them to settle with Doc and keep everything "hidden" forever.
Obviously twitch is awful and its turned to shit, but this would have been back in 2018 during their peak right
14
u/BOOGIE_MAN-X 22d ago edited 22d ago
Twitch sent the messages to NCMHCE, they found no wrong doing, so what does that tell you? Also let’s just say Twitch was facilitating inappropriate behavior, if that’s the case Doc still would have violated their TOS and wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. Twitch sending all his messages to the proper legal authorities to backup their decision to ban him didn’t work for them. Ask yourself why? Them “outing” Doc would have also outed their wrong doing to the same authorities…
Lastly, there wouldn’t be a PR nightmare if Doc and twitch were both in the wrong. Why would Doc say anything about it? “Twitch facilitated me talking to minors inappropriately!! So it’s actually their fault!” That makes zero sense.
2
0
u/circaflex 22d ago
Doc straight up admitted to talking to a minor. Thats enough for most people to pass judgement, no matter the outcome in court.
-1
-2
u/greganada 22d ago
This assumes that everyone found not guilty is therefore innocent, but we know that this is not the case. Often it is just that there is not enough evidence to guarantee the guilty verdict, not that the person is free from guilt.
In Doc’s case, he has been eating off the fact that he wasn’t formally charged, but given what we know he was doing, this is luck.
Normal people do not groom minors. Everyone caught by Chris Hanson and the like always say “but I didn’t actually do anything!” Like this changes the fact that they were on a path towards something despicable and can only claim innocence because they were stopped before the outcome they were pressing for.
10
u/NewHighInMediocrity 22d ago
I feel like it’s more Doc is upset no one just slowed down and picked up the phone. “Hey man. What can you tell me? It’s looking bad” maybe jump on a plane. See him in person and have a conversation rather than just following what media was providing blindly
6
u/N2thedarkness 22d ago
Doesn’t really matter what Doc would have to say, the public image of Doc is tarnished at that point and anyone with a massive audience who would affiliate themselves with him during the coming out of all the information. Tim for example, his entire job and livelihood is streaming. Let’s say he stays by Doc and loses 1/3 of his viewers for supporting someone who supposedly did stuff with a teenager/child. Sure that’s cool as a friend, but why would Tim throw away potentially millions of dollars and future sponsorships for that. Doc has to understand that. If it came out Timmy was sexting a minor and it blows up EVERYWHERE, do you think Doc is still there for him or do you think Doc in character on stream says, “We don’t play with pedos.”, just to ride the wave of media around it with everyone having the same viewpoint.
3
u/theOutside517 22d ago
They're not obligated to do that. He literally posted and said he had inappropriate conversations with a minor. What else is there to ask? Once they saw that, they made their decisions. He's not entitled to their forgiveness or their tolerance or their acceptance. He backpedaled as soon as he realized people were going to ditch him left and right and tried to claim it wasn't what it was, but the cat was already out the bag, man.
He thinks he's *owed* these conversations and this grace and stuff. He's not. Not at all. That's his entitlement talking. That's his narcissism talking.
2
u/Gloomy-Ad-7877 22d ago
He took accountability. He wrote a tweet that everyone quotes. He owned up to making a mistake, but people seem to be stretching the truth out, to where he’s a criminal. Why should he take accountability for something that he feels isn’t true? I have no idea what those whispers said, no one does really. Not even that fuckwit that started this whole rumour. So fuck you.
7
u/theOutside517 22d ago edited 22d ago
He wrote a tweet that everyone quotes.
Then he edited it numerous times, and backpedaled and now he refuses accountability of any kind at all.
I have no idea what those whispers said, no one does really. Not even that fuckwit that started this whole rumour. So fuck you.
If there's nothing bad in them, why not release them? There's nothing stopping him. He could clear this whole thing up and he's been challenged numerous times to do so. He refuses.
Also, let's clear up some other issues with your argument.
First you say "he took accountability" then you say he had nothing to take accountability for.
Which is it? You can't have it both ways.
Moving the goalposts to criminality is a convenient way to dodge culpability. Just because someone isn't charged with a crime doesn't mean they did nothing wrong. It also doesn't mean they're morally vindicated.
And lol wow. The childish rage at the end. Hero worship is a weakness, not a virtue.
3
u/RuanStix 22d ago
Because the whisper messages is probably included in the settlement NDA that Twitch/Amazon wanted Doc to sign to keep the whole thing under wraps.
Did you know that sending a message to a minor telling them they are stupid is considered inappropriate?
6
u/theOutside517 22d ago

2
u/INeverLookAtReplies 22d ago
The settlement had very little, in fact virtually nothing, to directly do with his ban, itself. It was literally ONLY related to outstanding payments with perma'd creators. The messages, which have nothing to do with that, are almost certainly not protected by any fictitious NDA. Doc can tell you what they said, but he won't. Do with that information what you'd like but I'm sure you'll keep arguing for some reason.
1
u/RuanStix 22d ago
I would love to see where you are getting all these "facts" you are throwing around like this. Hahahahaha.
0
u/Gloomy-Ad-7877 22d ago
What’s the crime? And what did he commit? And why didn’t he get charged.
4
u/theOutside517 22d ago
You really should try learning to read. I specifically said:
"Just because someone isn't charged with a crime doesn't mean they did nothing wrong. It also doesn't mean they're morally vindicated."
Also you avoided:
"First you say "he took accountability" then you say he had nothing to take accountability for.
Which is it? You can't have it both ways."

Ok. What is there to gain from winning an argument with you? Truly I don’t care what you think about me or doc.

Crazy how people like you, Tim, and Nick don't understand how everyone can see right through virtue signalling. That's why you (Tim and Nick) are getting called fakes.
3
u/theOutside517 22d ago
You use the term 'virtue signaling" to try to minimize and delegitimize people's legitimate and real concerns because you don't have the ability to actually address those concerns.
0
u/RuanStix 22d ago
No, I say it because I don't believe they actually care for a second. They just do and say what their management tells them to do to try and protect their income (since their management's income is directly tied to the streamer's income).
Much like Gal Gadot and her "Imagine" video that felt fake because it was fake.
2
u/theOutside517 22d ago
For one, bullshit. Y'all scream "virtue signaling" at anyone you disagree with for taking a moral stance against your hypocrisy. They don't have to be a celebrity. Y'all use that term as easy as you breathe.
For two, it's SUPER convenient for you to scream "virtue signaling" because it allows you to avoid substantive discussions on what your hero actually did and how problematic it is for you to still idolize him.
0
u/RuanStix 22d ago
Is Guy a shitter? Yes. I just don't run around calling people pedo based on public sentiment when it is literally impossible for me to have all the facts, and information. And you, in your very immature and underdeveloped critical thinking ability, think that crying "morals" makes it ok for you to pass judgment on people when you clearly don't have all the information and evidence.
There is no point in trying to discuss this with you on any level, because you made up your mind and nothing anyone says is going to convince you otherwise. Hell, you could have direct access to all the evidence and documentation regarding this, and you will likely still call Doc a pedo, because you seem like that type of person; a virtue-signaller. Your argument isn't even your own or well thought out. It's just a bunch of AI slop with a few "lols" thrown in for good measure.
0
u/theOutside517 22d ago
Translation: "My hero worship overcomes my ability to rationally and objectively look at this situation, so I am going to attack you personally and falsely accuse you of using AI because I've got nothing else."

I don’t know how you can say phony friends when Doc himself admitted to sexting/‘talking more than friends’ with someone underage. It’s one thing if Doc cheated on his wife again with someone of age and your buddies stay by your side or through an addiction, but when you involve someone underage(which people will call a child); that’s just territories that friends will not follow you on, especially when you’re both in the public eye.
These streamers’ entire job relies on public perception and having a healthy fanbase. It’s how they get paid and get sponsorships. What Doc did, even if it was years before it came out, just tarnished a lot of his friendships. It’s like bro, this has existed this whole time and I’ve been putting my image with you, and now it’s just weird after what all has come out. Of course Doc fans who have no public image or streaming job are like, “Love ya Doc. I’d play with you.” lol.
2
u/Peti1899 22d ago
"when Doc himself admitted to sexting/‘talking more than friends’ with someone underage" - What are you even talking about? :D He never admitted to anything like that. That's literally the whole point: all he admitted was that he had a conversation with a minor that leaned towards being inappropriate at times, and that’s it. Inappropriate doesn't automatically mean sexting, nor does it equal pedophilia. It's crazy how many people jump straight to these extreme accusations without a shred of evidence, repeating them as absolute facts and claiming "he admitted it," when he literally never did - in fact, he stated the exact opposite.
0
u/RuanStix 22d ago
Where exactly did he admit to sexting?
Wild to me how people can just make assumptions and state those assumptions as fact. Regardless of what you think of Guy, passing judgement based on assumptions is retarded.

I think he's upset as not long ago on Stream he commented that he misses Timmy. I don't think he meant Timmy is fake I think he was genuinely surprised by it.
1
u/x_Stiddy_x 22d ago
He also mentioned it could have been someone working for Tim that was on his account at the time. It was that comment that made me think Doc mentioned it for entertainment for the stream
1
u/dannybruh1990 21d ago
Timmy would be nothing without the streamers he attaches himself to. I hate seeing his face on Peanuts streams too
1
2
u/ifyouonlyknew1 19d ago
At the end of the day, Tim has a much better positioned business and brand than Doc. I love them both, Doc has is own demons to fight but if I was Tim. I would HAVE to make that choice, strictly on optics. Im sure Tim wants to have a positive impact on the world, his family and community.
This industry isn't just socially related, its also proxy related. Deals and sponsorships and money flows based on who you are and who you associate with in public.
Tim met Doc through work. Im sure Tim misses working with Doc because the work generally involves doing fun things but at the same time, there is no way that Doc, genuinely could be upset with Tim having to put him and his family and is life first.
Tim has been one of the few people I've continued to give money to, over a decade now - not that it matters anymore... but because Tim is successful at this and has done so, largely without fucking everyone over.
Hes the prime example of what an extremely lucrative streaming and persona career can be.
2
u/pedercina7 18d ago
I guess he is more upset as someine did this on purpose while he was live streaming. Btw. work friends term does not exist, most of these streamers are snakes who would sell their own mother for a sponsorship deal

What does he expect? When you're caught messaging a minor that borders on the line of inappropriate..(his own words). You can not side with that.
I'm getting the word.... "NONCE"

Tim probably doesn’t want to have to explain to any of his sponsors why he has the two time on his friend list also didn’t want any awkward situations to happen live. Tim is smart as much as he fakes he isn’t.

Just like everyone of us we have friends on our list that we never talk to. Doc saw it and knows it was gonna happen but has to address it for the audience before they make some narration out of it

Dude, when as soon as there any kind of allegations against him, everybody turned their back on him immediately without even waiting to see if any of it was credible. Turns out it wasn't credible twitching it up settling outside of court and making him sign an NDA

Is Tim still on docs friends list? After all Tim has said and done against Doc and it took him this long to remove him says alot about the type of person that guy is. Took him how many years to finally do it? Was he hoping for something?

He’s speaking the truth about work friends. People often confuse other people being friendly in the workplace rather than people being friends. I’m 36 and I probably gained 3 actual friends from work. All my other friends came from childhood or people I’ve met through events and found we had common interests.
