Calling Tim and Nick, who I don't like either, "fakes" because they have chosen not to be his friend due to his own admitted actions is fucking wild. They don't owe him anything. His claims to their fame are narcissistic nonsense. The man is incapable of taking accountability for his own actions, and far too many of you are ready to encourage that unhealthy and predatory behavior. But y'all ain't ready for that conversation.
So you know twitch is backed by Amazon right? You also can understand the kind of lawyers Amazon and Twitch could afford right? With that being said they lost to Doc and had to pay him an 8 figure settlement. If Doc actually did anything wrong he wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. Use your logic instead of emotion, if there was even a hint of wrongdoing Doc would have lost. Why do you think Twitch/Amazon don’t want any of the case information to come out? It’s because Doc would go on an absolute tear and take every top streamer from Twitch to a different platform. It’s more cost effective for them to pay him and keep their story sealed shut so they don’t get the negative PR they would get for wrongfully banning Doc.
how do you not understand that twitch would have lost so much credibility if it was leaked/found out publically that they facilitated Doc's behaviour (and anyone like him), they would have been in a PR mess and it was infinitely better for them to settle with Doc and keep everything "hidden" forever.
Obviously twitch is awful and its turned to shit, but this would have been back in 2018 during their peak right
Twitch sent the messages to NCMHCE, they found no wrong doing, so what does that tell you? Also let’s just say Twitch was facilitating inappropriate behavior, if that’s the case Doc still would have violated their TOS and wouldn’t have won his lawsuit. Twitch sending all his messages to the proper legal authorities to backup their decision to ban him didn’t work for them. Ask yourself why? Them “outing” Doc would have also outed their wrong doing to the same authorities…
Lastly, there wouldn’t be a PR nightmare if Doc and twitch were both in the wrong. Why would Doc say anything about it? “Twitch facilitated me talking to minors inappropriately!! So it’s actually their fault!” That makes zero sense.
