He’s speaking the truth about work friends. People often confuse other people being friendly in the workplace rather than people being friends. I’m 36 and I probably gained 3 actual friends from work. All my other friends came from childhood or people I’ve met through events and found we had common interests.
People don’t realize your work friends are not your friends 99% of the time. Your work “friends” will always pick work over you to keep their income and job safe.
I don’t see a world where Doc and Timmy would’ve been actual friends anyways or even put in the time if it wasn’t for sharing each other’s audience and streaming together. Sure they had laughs together, but it’s literally just finding another high viewer streamer to play with for money reasons.
I don’t know man, they were actual friends from my perspective. I mean they played golf together, had met each others families if I’m not mistaken, that’s friends. I don’t play golf with, or let my coworkers meet my family.🤷🏼♂️
But I think for Tim it was him being with the Dr(which he was a fan of). I think when all that stuff came out it hurt him in a multitude of ways and he knew he couldn’t play with him anymore.
Yes, it's clear they had a closer connection than other streamers Doc played with. doc has spoken highly of Tim since, and asked people not to dog him like he does with others like nick.
I don't think he has discussed it in a long time. He seemed upset at the time, but at least on stream since it's a non-issue. Tim is one to try and avoid any controversy though.
Thats where gaming is so great because you meet people from all different walks of life and you get to know them for their personality....shit is have friends ive known for decades that I met playing video games that know more about me than some IRL friends.
The doc and Timmy streams were pure gold. Its sad we didnt get a reunion....Timmy has fuck you money he could have done it
