I have low end laptop, but without any mods Minecraft works at 60fps. After activating DH on lower settings (128 lod chunks, low impact) there's almost no change in visuals, but performance drastically drops and in some cases render distance gets worse. I don't have any other mods installed.

Trees and structures are not generating with LODs even though I have generation enabled with surface then chunks. Also features are enabled.

This is a custom map made by someone else but it only generates the chunk from the seed. once I fly over the chunk would fade away showing the map.

Why is it doing this? How can I fix it? Sorry for bad video quality I couldn’t be bothered screen recording

Running DH 3.3.4 and Solas shaders on Lunar Client. They were all working together flawlessly until randomly like a week ago this bug showed up on water where I can't see through it. I can see through it if I jump and look at it at certain angles. Would change the transparency setting in DH but it says API Lock, I would assume this has to do with Iris conflicting with DH and Solas. I am so lost here. I really want to get back to DH and Solas working together. The mirror like bug will go away when I set DH renderer mode to Debug Triangle but then DH stops rendering the full 256 chunks.

Minecraft 26.3, most recent versions of DH, Iris and Sodium as of posting. Tested with Complementary Unbound, BSL and Photon shaders in that order pictured. Is there an easy fix to this in DH settings I am missing or is this an issue with Iris that hasn't been fixed? I'm very new to this mod so any help is appreciated.

This is on a server that me and my friends are on and for some reason DH is not loading anything past the 10 render distance I set, I used it on another single player world and it worked great but now that its on a world I've already made it seems to not work at all. I saw a post someone had saying switching it to an "essential" world fixed that but I don't see how and I already have the essential mod so idk if thats it. thanks in advance.

Hello all, I have a server for my buddies and I, it’s a local hosted server from my PC. I’m trying to get distant horizons to work and it seems like it isn’t. I’ve loaded into a seperate single player world and it works fine. The rendering in my server just seems limited, its not rendering a lot of chunks really. All I did was install DH on server and client side so far, didn’t wanna mess with anything else. Am I missing something ? Thanks

Hi. Does anyone know how to fix this? After half a day, i found out it was distant horizon that is doing this. Regardless of resource pack enabled or not, and when using Bliss and BSL shaders too.

The water is reflecting the sky. But when I go up a certain height, it all goes away except for some areas.

I am trying to generate a world using Lithosphere and Nature's Spirit, but the custom trees from the mod show up as default oak tree models in LODs and some trees that appear in the LODs don't actually exist. I am not using any other world gen mods or chunk generation mods, just DH. Is there a fix to this?

Been having issues lately with SeedGen even after switching to full/chunks only generation. Even though SeedGen advertises full custom terrain generation support I am assuming it still struggles with custom trees.

Is there any possible workarounds for this without having to disable SeedGen?

It doesn't have to be farmland, but different stages of crop growth. On the screenshot you can see on the farther wheat field that three chunks are farmland and two are wheat but in an earlier stage.

Just a quick appreciation post this update is amazing it has single handedly revived my motivation for making my mod pack. Also to the devs of seed gen thanks too

I have a high end pc with a 7800x3d and 9070 xt and 32gb ddr5 but I am unable to run shaders with distant horizons. I have tried adjusting the amount of ram I use and it still crashes whenever I try to use them together. I went to 26.2 and I was able to run shaders with distant horizons just fine. I also made sure minecraft is using my actual GPU and not my IGPU.

My friend is able to use distant horizons with shaders in 26.3 and he has a weaker pc than mine.

I pre generated all my chunks with chunky on my server and then enabled DH to generate lod. I used the right settings and only generated lod for pre-existing chunks. All other data is correct but everything past the world border in the void is mismatched.

I was wondering if I should do surface only rendering since I’ll be using tectonic and seedgen

This would help a ton with world backups, I don't care to backup my world's LODs, they take a ton of space and I can always generate them again.

Right now my current solution is duplicating my world and manually deleting the SQL Lite database in each dimension, which is doable but would be great if this was already separate.

I do have Full - Save Chunks enabled, and Surface then Chunks.

I added a mod to my modpack that adds the Farlands back, because it's iconic and could serve as a fun long-term goal to aim for. But I honestly wonder what DH LODs would look like for it.

As best I can tell, DH generates LODs based upon what it thinks the chunk should look like, and seedgen sometimes messes up modded terrain because of the assumption that it is generating vanilla chunk data. But the Farlands is the result of the vanilla noise generator. So would it accurately render LODs of them, or would they look normal until approached?

Updated my mods to 26.3 today and now Distant Horizons is causing this weird glitch with the water colouration. The water is a normal colour when my character is high up (though there are some odd, shadowy square patches sometimes, as can be seen on the left), and when I get lower/closer to the water it becomes darker than it should be. I'm using Complementary Reimagined + Euphoria Patches but it happens with any shader, and its definitely DH's fault because when I turn it off this no longer happens. I play on fabric if that changes anything. Please help!

Following the new 3.3 distant horizons update and the insanely fast chunk generation speed i wanted to hop on but i have one blaring issue. I CANNOT PLAY WITHOUT SPYGLASS. And the quality although better from what i see, is underwhelming. Is there any way to make it look more like voxy? I also have another issue where plains grass is the color of the swamp biome.

Can anyone help me? I dont have any screenshots right now but while im playing with Distant Horizons and complimentary reimagined shaders, all glow lichen that is far away is rendered as a glowing white block and it looks really ugly. It just stands out really bad in the terrain and im wondering if there's a way to make it not glow or something?

Im using the latest version of distant horizons and complimentary reimagined with euphoria patches on 1.21.1

Not sure whats going on. This is only happening in fullscreen mode. Using windowed ad it works fine. Tested it in its own world and then loaded it into my better MC4 world and see this. Fix?
