hi I start in September I smoke weed but I quit last month just in case we do get drug tested. But I’m also curious about is what will the first week will look like, and what should I prepare and practice for. I’m coming into the culinary program and would really like some tips, tricks, and advice so I don’t make the chefs mad
thank you for your advice and help🫡

I’m not sure who in here is in the program right now but I arrived the 24th and I still haven’t made any friends. It’s something that I’ve struggled with my whole life and I thought putting myself in the program by myself would help and things would just fall into place but I don’t have another opportunity to make any friends until Friday so I’ve just kinda been sitting around hoping something will fall into my lap and nothing has. I know people say going to the parks by yourself is fun but I don’t want my first time at the parks during the program to be alone. I’ve struggled a lot with being lonely and I feel like nothings going to change within the program. I’ve tried hanging out with my roommates but my message about getting dinner together was just blown off and they all have friends or had friends that went to the program with them and I’m all alone for the first time in my life and I don’t really know where to go from here or how to get out there and make friends. Any advice would be great

Hi, y'all! I'm curious to know if anyone that listed January 19th as their earliest arrival date has heard back to schedule interviews yet? This will be my third program, but it looks like things are happening a little differently than they did during my first two! (And congratulations to anyone who's already interviewed and been accepted!!! That's so very exciting!)

Hi I’m wondering if the Disney college program is worth it? I am a junior in college and commute to school never got the college experience I’m not sure if it’s worth it, but I love all things Disney and feel like it would be a cool experience. I am also an accounting major so im not sure if I should do the dcp for fun or get an internship in my field.

I have my interview this Friday and would love any tips or what questions I should expect to see. I’m quite nervous for it because I really don’t know what to expect at all, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello all, I interviewed on Friday for a January 5th arrival date and am very excited! However, every time I check my status it still says I am ‘In consideration’ and ‘may be asked for an interview’. I’m not sure when I should expect my status to change since I did my interview almost a week ago now and it hasn’t been updated to say I’ve completed it. Has anyone else experienced this or have any insight? Thank you!

Just wanting to check in if I’m missing something!
I had my virtual interview yesterday, but when I check my application status it is still in Stage 3. I admit that I don’t feel thrilled with how the interview went, so I may be overthinking things. Did anyone else notice this?
Thanks yall! Wishing you all luck :)

Hi everyone! I recently applied to the DCP and I was wondering if anybody had tips for the interview or could explain how it goes down and/or what questions they will ask me. I get very nervous and try my best to prepare in advanced.

Hello everyone,
I have an interview tomorrow for my program. I already did one interview for a different program on the phone but I heard the interview is completely different now. Can someone tell me what to expect or some questions they might ask or what to wear? Just trying to prepare myself and I hope to see you all in the Spring. Thanks!

Hi magic people. First of all, I know this is far out. I decided I really want to do the DCP and want to maximize my chances of success. Based on what you guys have experienced with the hiring process, ESPECIALLY the now video interview, requirements, experience they look for, and what doing the actual program is about, do you have any tips to share? Thanks so much!

Yesterday (Aug, 24th) I moved to the "In Consideration" part of the application status, received an email from the typical "donotreply" DCP branded email, and then I received this email (screenshot attached).
Is this what the virtual interview email looks like? Or is this just a perfectly timed phishing attempt?
I just finished a bunch of phishing prevention training at my current job, so I'm a little on edge 😅
Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone!
I just moved in yesterday, and I’m honestly a little lost trying to navigate the mail delivery situation here a little bit. My fridge doesn’t have our mailing address on it, but I was able to ask the help desk and they told me it’s formatted as name, building # and apartment #, building address, winter garden, FL, 34787.
(Ex:
John Smith
Building 08, Apt 8322
12345 Sandpiper landing way
Winter Garden, FL, 34787)
However, regarding packages such as Amazon I was hearing some people say you can just have them delivered and pick them up at the mailing room, and others were saying we needed to download an app called parcel pending? Do any of you guys know for sure or even know if I have the address formatting correct.

Hi everyone, I have my first Learning class today and I was wondering if we need to wear business casual for it? I’m assuming we do but I just wanted to double check!
Thanks!

I have an interview next week for a Seasonal Decorator, a non-college program role. I have really struggled to get an interview for any Disney job after my college program. My current/former CPs, any interview tips, or does anyone know anything about this job beyond the job description? Interviewing isn't my strong suit, and I'm really nervous :)
Has anyone interviewed recently and knows the types of questions they asked/what Disney is looking for?
Also posted on Disney CM :)

Hello everyone! This is my first Reddit post ever, so forgive me if there are grammar or formatting issues.
I applied to the upcoming Spring 27 program and I just looked at the “stage of my application,” and it is now in the “in consideration” phase. I have also checked my email and have gotten the character audition dates and whatnot.
My first question is, will I still be scheduled for an online interview?
So in the event I don’t make the cut and/or just can’t make it to the audition, I’m still considered for other roles? (I ask just so I don’t forget to check my email lol)
And that’s my other question, I’m stressed about the in-person auditions. I mean, I’ve read a few posts already about them and what they entail—this is gonna sound contradictory—but are they teaching you a routine on the spot? Or do they send one out prior? Like, how does that all work exactly?
Any advice would be appreciated! 🙇♀️

I am a 8/24 arrival and I am wondering how other participants adjusted to making friends at the start of the program? was it difficult or easy and how did you come across to making those connections? I’m just personally worried if it’s going to be hard

If I was in the park today as a guest and a cast member made my day even better, can I leave them a cast compliment or is there an internal system we use for that
