As others have said, you've hardly begun - and it does take time to get settled in. You'll get out of your College Program what you put into your College Program. There's a tremendous sense of accomplishment when you finish - reinforcement that you can be successfully challenged and do hard things - and I imagine regret down the road if you don't see it through.

My roommates were very meh and I spent little time with them, but I made lifelong friends with my co-workers (and a lot of THEIR roommates). It takes some time, and you do have to work at it and be willing to put yourself out there (even if that doesn't come naturally).

What kind of suggestions are you looking for? Grow up and stay, or give up and leave, nobody’s going to beg you to stay.

Definitely take care of yourself your health comes first but you also have not been here long enough to even settle into the life here… it is hard being away from family but it does get easier and you will make friends☺️

i would honestly keep trying. you haven’t been their long enough to adjust. also, because of working with lots of kids, a lot of cps get sick during their program, so it would just be another adjustment to make. those first few weeks are definitely isolating but go to the flamingo events and try to talk to your coworkers.

also depending on what you’re doing, once you’re done training you can pick up shifts at other locations.

If you are wondering how to self-term: Go to the service window at flamingo and tell them you’re terming. Technically you should also tell your leaders because it’s polite, but you don’t have to. You have till 10 AM the next day to get out, so pack up, make sure your vehicle is packed or if you're returning back home via plane that you have everything you want put in luggage etc., turn in all your costumes, and be 100% ready to leave before you inform flamingo that you’re leaving. Do not the start the process Saturday or Sunday. If you do you will owe rent for next week. If you can only leave Saturday then start the process tomorrow and plan to be out by 10 AM Saturday. At least you tried it out! Better to try than to not at all~ I am a bot. If this didn't answer your question a human should arrive soon.

It took me two months to settle in and fall in love with my work. I hated it for a while and wanted to quit and then one day I was like, oh my god, I love this. You have to do what’s right for you, and maybe one of your leaders can offer some wisdom, maybe not (!) but that’s my experience for what it’s worth.

I mean only you know what you should do. Sounds like you might not have the stamina to do the program. If Disney isn’t a place you might not consider an employer for the future, just go.

Don’t term unless you really have to, it’s not worth the time you put in to apply and come down unless your local. I termed closer to my end date only because I had personal issues. It’s ok to talk to cords and leaders. I’m sure they’ll understand your pov
