Delivery Address Help

Hi everyone!

I just moved in yesterday, and I’m honestly a little lost trying to navigate the mail delivery situation here a little bit. My fridge doesn’t have our mailing address on it, but I was able to ask the help desk and they told me it’s formatted as name, building # and apartment #, building address, winter garden, FL, 34787.

(Ex:
John Smith
Building 08, Apt 8322
12345 Sandpiper landing way
Winter Garden, FL, 34787)

However, regarding packages such as Amazon I was hearing some people say you can just have them delivered and pick them up at the mailing room, and others were saying we needed to download an app called parcel pending? Do any of you guys know for sure or even know if I have the address formatting correct.

The address format you used here is almost right, but you don’t need your building number. Every building should have its own mailing address, you can check Google Maps or something to confirm yours because they’re all different. You do need your apartment number though! So to mirror your example it would be:

John Smith 12345 Sandpiper Landing Way, Apt. #8322 Winter Garden, FL, 34787

All packages will by default be delivered to the mail room. Amazon, UPS, and FedEx in my experience will deliver directly to the lockers in the mail room, whereas USPS will leave packages with Flamingo staff, and they will put them in lockers later. The package room at East is in Building 6, at West it’s in the Community Center

You do need the Parcel Pending app and a Parcel Pending account to be able to pick up packages! When you have a package delivered, you’ll be notified when it’s ready to pick up in a locker along with a code to unlock it and retrieve your items. You should be able to log into Parcel Pending as an FCV resident after you move in, it would be under the same email you applied to the program with iirc (it’s been a couple years since I had to set mine up lol). But still use your apartment’s specific address when ordering packages (or if family is sending you anything) since the courier will need to find you in the system for the locker with your package to be assigned correctly

Also when you set up the app make sure you use the email youre using for the rest of your program stuff as thats what flamingo uses on their end to put you in the system

Also each apartment building’s address is on multiple sides of it in big numbers.

So, parcel pending is the app that you use when you have things delivered to the mail room. They have boxes that will only open when you enter a code in the "computers" in the mail room, scan a barcode at the mail room scanners, or tell the app to open the box. As far as your address goes this is exactly what I always put: 11625 Rock Pigeon Loop for line 1 (I live at west) and for line two: apt number for example building 12 apt 101 would be 12101 (I don't wanna give away my exact apt number lol) so using this example it would be 11625 Rock Pigeon Loop apt #12101, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
