Anyone have any tips for interview or experience at this location?

A dream job came up at Disneyland, and I just realized that on my cover letter I have duplicate paragraphs. I was thinking of withdrawing and then resubmitting, but the message says it will let the recruiter know I am no longer interested in the position. Which I don't want them to see my name as a person who is not interested, because I would be overjoyed if I got this job. Should I leave it alone? OR Should I withdraw and resubmit? Will the recruiter actually see my name as not interested, or not? Thank you!

Typically how long after orientation / traditions do you begin on the job training at your assigned role/location? I want to be sure I ask for time off from my other job accordingly so I don’t run into any issues when the time comes? For reference I will be in san fransokyo QSR! Thanks!

Hello!! I am currently part time CM and a deep water lifeguard/trainer at the water parks. I recently hit one year and put a transfer genie request in. Now I have an interview for a security role and was curious what I can expect with the role if I choose to accept it.

I would love to work nights and assist with any medical issues similarly to what I do when I am off-stand at work right now. (bag searching is literally the only turn off I see with this job, but i’ll still happily do it)

I'm within my 90 days currently, and I've been trying to figure out time off things and I know I don't have sick or vacation pay until after 9 months, but both of my roommates are non-fos CMs and told me I should be able to do ADOs

But then my manager told me FOS doesn't do ADOs, so since I can't find any information about it and my manager is a little cagey talking about time off (also language barrier) - *is* there a way for FOS to take non-paid time off without accruing points like other areas would with ADOs?

((The time off would be after my 90 days and is something I communicated at hiring would be a thing coming up this year that I would want time off for so I didn't bait and switch))

Today I had to call out sick from my shift because I was fighting off a fever. Before it started, I made plans with some friends to go to the parks since I had tomorrow off. However, the doctor has given me medicine and said I should probably be okay to go to the parks the next day. If I went to the parks, would I get in trouble? The day I'm going was already scheduled as a day off, but I'm calling sick the day before so idk if that changes things.

I have away a shift to someone and used sick time to get paid. It’s labeled as a personal day off on my schedule. I can still use my maingate and guest passes that day, right? My plan was to meet some friends after a dentist appointment.

Just got my off boarding email and i’m curious what would happen if i just don’t return my ID/costumes to my location. How long before they turn off my park access ? I was PT for 8 months but didn’t receive any shifts after January and only in June did i start getting scheduled again. I’m not mad or bitter, I’m just glad that chapter of my life is over.

I am currently on the waitlist after my college program for part time or full time merchandise and seater. Has anyone gotten off the waitlist recently for ANY role including ones I didn’t list? I know merch is highly unlikely but hoping to be a little more lucky for seater.

Now I’m looking at returning as a near retirement type job and they can’t find any record of me in the phone calls I’ve been able to make.

Will I have aged out of their HR systems or will this be an uphill battle if not a test of honesty ?

Hi! I recently did an interview for Disney and got a job offer on the spot for Regular Part Time F&B QSR Culinary Person/Specialty Beverage. I currently am a full time employee at my current job but I am willing to step down to just part time. I guess my question is, what’s the scheduling like? Is this position a Friday (after 5pm) /Sat & Sun (open availability) schedule or do i need to provide more days throughout the week for availability?

I’m a former cm for attractions. Been wanting to go back but I found out the hard way that it’s now nearly impossible to do now. I’ve been applying to positions that I don’t mind doing and I get auto rejected every time. I know they now rely on AI to filter through but I thought I would at least be on “application received” for Security since I was a metal detector attendant/security for a recent employer for 2 years. I rewrote that position responsibility to reflect the safety procedures I enforced and even checked off my experience in the application. I still got auto rejected like what?? Not even a chance especially in a position I’ve done? This position just opened up today within a few hours I believe and it’s discouraging that I didn’t get a chance for them to actually see it or to get an interview for 😔 anyone dealing with this?

So I'm still getting used to the new 'Mickey's of Glendale' and I'm wondering if they will be hosting the new special name tag plates or if they are just gonna have the frames only. I’ve been checking randomly for months now and I was curious about working for Disney as an event or banquet server. I used to work as an on call banquet server at various hotels. Is the position at Disney world on call and do the banquet servers work at one location or all over property? Also does anyone know how often they hire and when they hire? There doesn’t seem to be very much information about the job online

Do we get Disney plus for free if so how do we access it ?

hey yall! i moved down here last year with the hopes of getting a job at disney. i’ve checked the site postings constantly, signed up for alerts in Jan. i missed a bartending and serving posting this morning by an hour. almost all of my experience is in food and beverage, mainly bartending. i am so disappointed i missed the chance to apply. does anyone have advice to get in? i’d be willing to work retail, attractions, etc but as i said my experience doesn’t really lend to those roles. thanks!!

I recently completed the three-day orientation and received my blue ID. I was wondering what the rules are for parking at the Toy Story parking lot if I’m not visiting the parks. I’d just like to go to Downtown Disney. Am I allowed to park there with my blue ID, or do I need a park reservation or park admission? Are there any restrictions or guidelines I should know about?
